I was hesitant to sign up for Roomvu after reading several negative reviews, but the sales representative assured me those were outdated and that the company had improved its system. I was also promised a 7-day money-back guarantee if the service didn’t meet my expectations.
The concept sounded good, so I decided to give it a try. Within hours of exploring the platform, I realized the content wasn’t applicable to my business and didn’t fit the branding image I wanted. I immediately tried to cancel, but the sales rep encouraged me to complete the onboarding call first, again assuring me I could still cancel within seven days for a full refund.
After the onboarding call, I reiterated that the platform was not a fit and requested cancellation. I sent multiple emails to support and called the 1-800 number, where I was told my requests were received but couldn’t be handled by phone.
Then, on the eighth day, I received an email stating they would not refund my money and that I was locked into a one-year contract.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The product didn’t deliver what was promised, and the “7-day guarantee” appears to be meaningless.
Recommendation: I’d caution future customers not to fall for the deceptive promises made by Roomvu’s sales staff — their assurances about refunds and guarantees turned out to be completely false in my experience.
