Rooms To Go sectional mix match and torn, not once but twice. Impossible to work w delivery

This was the single worst furniture purchase in my 60 years. I will never again purchase from rooms to go. Customers flat out don't matter.

Quality doesn't matter.

Two sectionals in a row delivered with used and torn components. No attempts to apologize or make ammends.

Had to cancel and move patients multiple times to meet an every changing delivery time frame.

Was told as a doctor if I cared that much about my patients I should hire somewhere to receive my furniture.

Worst experience ever.

Desired outcome: Full refund, pick up of the damaged item left at my house and compensation for my time and lost revenue

Rooms To Go Delivery

I’m complaining because Rooms To Go changed my delivery time three times in two days. I could not even get another delivery date at the time that I called. I have bought a lot of furniture from this company through the years but maybe it’s time for me to find someone else who has some customer compassion. I understand things change but it also does for the customer. We have jobs and lives and it’s not fair that we have to constantly change things at our jobs. So inconvenient and all you get from R2G is times are subject to change. No compassion whatsoever and unfriendly and unprofessional behavior. All this company cares about is money and I will look elsewhere for service.

We ordered a FULL Size Bed on roomstogo.com, we received a KING SIZE BED! we are now 3 weeks going back and forth and we still have not received what we ordered your customer service has been absolutely terrible Ffaison2roomstogo,com is rude and has absolutely no customer service skills to be a SUPERVISOR, I have been 3 weeks sent photos 6 times called emailed went to the store and still nothing how hard is it for you guys to fix a mistake that was not OUR MISTAKE to pic up your mistake order and send us what we ordered

Rooms To Go Extended Warranty

I put in a claim for my chaise sofa which got denied because seams to be not covered. Then I put in a second claim for my daughter's dresser because is peeling and it got denied because it has water damage somewhere else. I put a third claim for my daughter's nightstand because is peeling in some weird way and it was denied because of an unknown substance.

Do they really cover anything? This is a scam! DON'T BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO !

Desired outcome: All three items get replaced.

Rooms To Go Dining room set

This has been the worst experience ever with furniture and customer service! I bought a brand new dining room table set and had to swap it out several times because of defects on table every time coming out the box. Next we decided to just exchange for another table set, even though we didn’t want to, because each replacement was coming defected and the new table set started peeling. So then we reached out and got it switched out and it started doing it again as well as the wood started knotting up. Mind you that we barley ever use the table. And I reached out to multiple people for R2G and from Fortegra and all I get is the run around. One tells me there’s nothing they can do and to call the other and when I do they tell me to call the other back. A bunch of BS! I’m being told by both parties that there is nothing they can do and I’m basically stuck with a factory defected table that I paid my hard earned money for and according to there limited warranty policy I shouldn’t be having any issues with a resolution for my issue. I’ve been in my home, new construction, for 2 years and haven’t had the table for 1 year due to defects and having to exchange and swap out! This is bad business and piss poor customer service!

Desired outcome: All I want is my factory defected table replaced!

Rooms To Go Purchased Sofa that is described as "Genuine Leather" but it turns out to be fake leather

On March 2nd, 2019, I purchased a "leather" sofa and love seat. Rooms To Go described it as genuine leather and it appeared to be actual leather. Three years later it is pealing terribly and Rooms To Go will not provide any assistance or service in regards to the fake leather product that they sold me. Photos of the pealing of the outer layer which reveals some sort of material underneath, that does not resemble leather at all.

Desired outcome: A new sofa to replace the one that is cracking and pealing that is genuine leather or a complete refund for the total amount that was paid for both the sofa and the love seat.

Rooms To Go Complaint on fortegra furniture

I purchased a Grey Sectional with 3 power recliner, one armless, left recliner and right recliner. Also, the sectional included a console storage with usb and wireless top. The purchase was made on November 02 and was delivered on Nov. 22, 2022.

After delivery, I reported to customer service on Nov. 22, that the wireless console did not work properly. A technician arrived at our home Dec. 5, 2022, took pictures. A decision was made that the replacement parts will be mailed and then would have to call for a technician and wait for a date to installation. A day later, the armless recliner stopped working and I called customer service again. I received a call back a day later concerning the armless recliner and the customer service representative advised me of my options. Her customer service was impeccable! I explained that this furniture was purchase before the Thanksgiving holiday and in Dec. I have guest coming to our home and wanted to have Funiture in our living area. She immediately gave me two options, repair by a technician sometime in January 2023 or a new recliner could be delivered by Dec. 23. I accepted the Dec.23 delivery. Today, Dec. 10th I realized the right arm recliner did not work properly, there are 4 buttons and only two work. The customer service representative told me a technician will be available in my area Jan. 11, which is interfering the use of the defected right armchair. I made a $6,300 purchase and now I am being told I have to wait until after Jan. 1 to receive service. This is Unacceptable, and I am not allowed to enjoy the Funiture.

Desired outcome: A brand-new console and right armchair and armless chair be delivered to me before or on Dec. 23, 2022.

Rooms To Go Exchange service

The two men who delivered my exchange were "joking around" with me, it wasn't funny at all. They were in my home, making me feel uncomfortable for replacing my couch that was very clearly broken. Then, they gave me a really hard time about wanting them to install the middle support block that screws into the bottom of the couch. When this is how the first couch broke. arent they supposed to install all the pieces of a couch when its delievered and installed? especially a suppot block for the center? They were making me feel really stupid for wanting them to install this piece, they kept telling me it wasn't nessisary like it was an inconvenience for them. if the center support block was installed in the first place, it never would have broken. They were very inappropriate. They shouldn't have been joking around to the point that it made uncomfortable in my own home. They knew they were wrong as before they left several apologies were given to me when no apologies should have even been needed. This was my home they came into and made me feel stupid and uncomfortable.

this was supposed to be a simple exchange.

this experience makes me not want anything ever delivered again, especially if I'm alone. That is how uncomfortable they made me feel. over all, I dont think I will ever purchase something from rooms to go again

Desired outcome: Something, you cant treat people like this in this in their own home, especially when it's a young woman alone and two men... very uncomfortable and not appropriate whatsoever

Rooms To Go Bed and mattress.

I was sold head board by customer service in NC I was charge $1,649.99. I was lead to belive this was for bedroom set. I did this on line The customer told me I was going to love my bed room set. Then I found out I had to buy a mattress. They sent me a mattress with springs. I could not sleep on it. I had the inspector came out to get a new mattress I was told I had to go in my area. I went Harborson in SC I was. charged $1,876.75 for mattress. my bed set is costing me almost 5,0000.0 only. I am 68 I feel like I taken advantage . This 1876.75 mattress was not new. I am waiting for inspector to come out again for this new mattress. This mattress smell like it was sprayed down and the odor he be here on Dec.12.

Rooms To Go Reclining sofa

I purchased a reclining sofa from Rooms To Go with the extended warranty. The back of the sofa is now peeling. I have contacted repair customer service 4 times and have been told 4 times that someone would be in touch with me. I went to the store and they told me the same thing, that someone would be in touch with me. I sent pictures to "[protected]@roomstogo.com" and still did not get response.

I was told email is the only way to reach them. I have done everything they asked me to do and I still have no results.

Rooms To Go Furniture

We purchased a "cindy crawford" swivel power recliner — and a lot of other items — from this company. The chair has performed great for several seasons; however, it seems to have an electrical issue. Since the rechargeable battery is contained within the framework of the chair, it is impossible for me to test the battery to see if it has become defective.

I know that the product is out of warranty, but I have been trying to find out who would be able to check it out and repair it. I have contacted the store several times and finally got someone who at least listened to my complaint before informing me that Rooms-To-Go doesn't do repair work and had no recommendations as to where to take it.

I would just like to know how to get to the battery without destroying the chair to check of the battery! Please send info on how to get to that item so I can try to repair it myself and if you can't recommend a repair place in the DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) area for me to take it to for repair work.

Rooms-to-go apparently does not seem very interested in providing good customer service from my standpoint.

Rooms To Go Return issue

*****BEWARE***** ATTENTION ALL MILITARY VETERANS!

If you think your item looks good in showroom on the carpet surrounded by other furniture you best ask to have it moved to hardwood floors to look at it again. All the mechanical mechanisms are exposed when you walk up from behind. $700 for them to take back same day. Even when we told delivery that it wasn't going to work please take back. On top of that we now have a store credit minus the $700 we are now on the hook for to spend and pay for instead of just making us eat the $700 and going somewhere else to buy.

Will never step a foot back in that store!

Desired outcome: Want the $700 reduced and the store "credit" to go away and me not be responsible for that.

Rooms To Go Cindy Crawford sectional

I purchased the Cindy Crawford Calvin Heights 2 Pc Right Arm Chaise Sectional less than two years ago, and it started falling apart immediately. I could not track down details of my order, so Rooms to Go said there was nothing they could do. Regardless, beware of this product, and maybe the entire line.

Within ONE MONTH, the couch started to rip at the seams. We placed a pet cover over the first rip to mask it, but it just kept pulling apart in other places. It is now ripped in seven places. In the first three rips, foam keeps coming out in chunks. I would have to reupholster the entire couch to salvage it. In addition, the couch cushions slowly start to slide off, even if you're just sitting on it. I have to remove the back cushions and push the seat cushions back into place every time I stand up.

I have never had to replace a piece of furniture because it didn't hold up to normal use, especially within two years, especially something that cost this much money. Buyer beware.

Rooms To Go Communication

I am Richard Wagner I purchased a power recliner on Sept 3, 2022. The salesman said that it would not be ready for delivery till November 30. Seemed like a long time but we agreed, We were call 3 or 4 times to make sure we would be home and confirm the time frame. We were also texted several times for the same reason. then an email also This all seemed a little much but thats the way you do business. then on the 30th the driver calls from our gate we let him in, and he goes through his entire truck and tells me the chair is not on the truck. The driver tells us to call and reschedule the delivery because he does not know where the recliner is. At that very time costumer service call and asked how our delivery was. I was not happy. She checks and tells she could reschedule our delivery for Jan 17th. I went to the store and talked to the salesman Eddie, and he went to talk to the store manager. Eddie says that the recliner was damaged but later found not to be true. The store manager Michael Roper says he will check to see if the chair is on another truck or where it might be. he calls and says that the 17th of Jan. would be the soonest I could expect the recliner. I ask for my money back and was told that will happen in 3 to5 days. Strange way to run a business. I could not recommend anyone to your stores. Richard Wagner

Desired outcome: Just passing on information. I did get my money refunded. I don't know how this could happen. with barcoding someone should know at all times where this chair is or has been. thanks for letting me vent.

Rooms To Go Cindy Crawford Sectional

The Cindy Crawford sectional has kinda disappointed me and we have only had it a year and half or less and it gets very light weight seating traffic. In the past, we have had other brand sofas that have taken years to flatten. The product looked great in the store and the seats felt very comfortable and fluffy. We didn’t expect them to flatten so fast. Ironically, I have seen several other complaints of the same kind about this exact brand and item. Had I known this, we would have purchased a different more durable sofa. Now I have to find a way to get the couch to fluff up again so they can last longer. Our 3 kids are very young and aside from my wife and I, the couch is barely used in such a way that it should have flattened so soon.

Rooms To Go Bed frame and tables

I ordered my furniture and from day one this has been a constant battle. They sent my furniture order with no hardware to put together. Then I receive half a dozen phone calls harassing me with several numbers and when you attempt to call back they are not even phone numbers associated with rooms to go. Rusheeda called my work phone number and tried to ask a co worker about my payment. It’s interesting to me that all the money I have spent towards this purchase. I have no idea where it actually goes. The phone calls and emails are excessive unprofessional

Desired outcome: Then you ask other people to pay for services that we’re not completed because they’re not putting my money into it it’s in her pocket. And unfortunately she is nevertheless available to discuss it because she’s NOT THERE

Rooms To Go Order# [protected] / Monthly Billing

On August 2022 I went to Rooms To Go to buy furniture for my new home I just purchase in July 2022. Lisa was the sells associate. Lisa showed me a tour around the store and that's when I pointed out the things I wanted, I told Lisa that I was on a budget, that's when she began to do the calculation on how much I will be paying monthly. Lisa told me that all I would have to pay is $217.00 every month. We both agreed on that. November comes along that's when I Discovered my bill increases to $404.00...I then called Lisa at the store to see why my bill increase to almost double to what we agreed up on... She told me that she will take care of it and never did. Lisa or Jeanee at front desk didn't Lift a finger to help me...All they did was point fingers at one another instead of taking care of the problem...They are very unprofessional...All I need is my monthly payments to go back to normal as promised...

Desired outcome: Very Unsatisfied...The Destin, Florida Room To Go didn't do anything to help me resolve this issue...

Rooms To Go Trying to purchase a bed

My husband and I were in the Raleigh store at 5900 Glenwood Ave location on black Friday looking for a new bed. We were working with Jackie M. at that time. We wanted to discuss the purchase and told her we would call back on Sunday. I called and left 2 messages for her on Sunday, one around 2pm, another around 5pm and received no call back. I called and asked for any sales associate and was put through to Donna, sorry I didn't get a last name. We discussed the issue and I wanted to make sure the black Friday pricing was still in place, she said she would text me a photo of the bed to make sure its the one that we looked at. I received her text at 6:06 pm and responded at 6:07 pm and heard nothing back from her.

I was ready to make a cash purchase but no one would get back to me, apparently your sales are so good that you don't need my money. I am not holding my breath that I will get a call back tomorrow and even if I did I am not sure that I want to purchase furniture from your company now. If this is how you treat someone who is trying to make a purchase, I can't even imagine how you treat someone who would have a problem with the product that they were able to purchase.

Rooms To Go Adjustable bed

I went to rooms to go and I bought an adjustable bed that was there on sale for my mother inlaw. She liked it and tried it and was satisfied with the height and all.

The reason that we bought the bed was because she has a problem with getting out of bed, shes 91 years old.

The delivery came and the delivery crew put the bed together and left. When my mother inlaw went over to try the bed it was about 3 to 4 inches higher than the one in the show room and she wasn't able get on it,

We immediately called the help desk and and told us, that the trucker has extra legs in the truck and he should be able to take care of the probem by exchanging the legs for shorter ones. She called the trucker but when the trucker arrived he said that she was wrong that they don't carry extra legs with them.

We went back to the store to try and get someone to help us but it was futile. They tried to help us with the problem by looking to see if they had any extra legs and they did come up with only two of 3"which made 6" inches in total.

What I really need is six legs 6" each.

Rooms To Go Bed

I bought a bed and it was delivered 11/5. It literally fell apart 2 weeks later (11/19). I am unable to take the frame apart so I have a King size bed frame in my living room. When I called and they said I would get a replacement, the first lady I talked to never called me back with a delivery date. I tried calling her back and I emailed her and no response. I had to call the next day and then was told I would have to wait over a week to get the new one. I told them I was off this Friday and Saturday and because this is a huge inconvenience and not my fault, I feel like the new frame should be delivered when it is convenient for me. Not to mention, this is a holiday and hopefully no one will get hurt by this huge frame right in the way of everything. I find this whole experience very frustrating and unprofessional and definitely not customer service oriented and I don't have much faith that this will not happen again with the new one.
