So, I ordered some sunglasses from ROKA (roka.com) and it's been two whole weeks and I still haven't gotten them yet! I mean, come on, that's a long time to wait for some shades. But, to be fair, they did say it would take a week to produce and ship them when I placed my order. So, I guess I can't be too mad about that.

But, what really grinds my gears is their shipping method. It's like they're trying to make it as complicated as possible. They use both the USPS and DHL to get your package to you. Like, why can't they just pick one and stick with it? It's been six whole days since they shipped my sunglasses and I still don't have them. I mean, what's the hold up?

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with ROKA so far. I just want my sunglasses, man. Hopefully they'll get here soon and they'll be worth the wait. But, if they're not, I'm definitely going to be leaving another review.

It took almost a whole month for my order to arrive and I didn't hear from them except for one time when I texted them for an update. The glasses themselves are pretty durable, but they're quite heavy and not very useful to me without the bifocal spec that I sent them as my prescription.

Honestly, if my friends asked me if ROKA glasses are worth it, I'd have to say no. Save your money and go somewhere else. Just because they're made in the USA doesn't mean they're automatically better than the competition. Sometimes it's better to stick with what you know works instead of taking a chance on something new.

Got myself a trial kit from ROKA and it came in just as I expected. I was on the lookout for some frames because my prescription is a bit unusual and ROKA couldn't cater to it. I had to send them 3 emails just to figure out if I was supposed to send the frame I liked back with the other "trials" and wait another 2 weeks to get the same frame or keep the sample already shipped and in my hands. Their sample was late shipping back as I was waiting on them for an answer and yes, I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to reship the frames.

Now, the frames have my lens but they fit loose on my face. My optometrist wasn't able to mold the frame stems to fit any better. It turns out that's the catch, these frames are tough but they are also unadjustable! So, buyers beware, if the sample doesn't fit, do not purchase! I ended up being out $100 for the frame and another $400 for lens that won't fit any other frame.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed with my experience with ROKA. While the trial kit was a good idea, the lack of adjustability in their frames was a major downside. It's a shame because the frames themselves are quite sturdy and well-made. However, if they don't fit your face perfectly, you're out of luck. It's also a bit frustrating that it took so many emails just to figure out what I was supposed to do with the trial kit.

That being said, if you have a more standard prescription and don't need any adjustments to your frames, ROKA might be a good option for you. Just be aware of the limitations of their frames before making a purchase.

Got my hands on a pair of sport sunglasses from ROKA (www.ROKA.com) and I gotta say, they're pretty darn good. The quality of the product is top-notch, from the packaging to the adjustable temple grips. You can really feel the quality in these sunglasses. I've been using them for a week now and I'm impressed.

One of the things I really like about these sunglasses is that they're transitional. I can ride my bike through the woods or on the sunny roads near the lake and these sunglasses work great in both conditions. The photochromic lenses take a little longer to change than I expected, but that's normal for this type of material. The glasses are light and durable, which is great for my active lifestyle.

I'm definitely going to use ROKA's products for my running and triathlon training and competitions. I'm planning on ordering exchangeable lenses of different colors and light transmissions for my ROKA sunglasses frame. Unfortunately, some swimming goggles and wetsuits are out of stock, but I put my name on the waiting list and I'm eagerly waiting for them to become available.

Overall, I highly recommend ROKA's products. They're high-quality, durable, and perfect for an active lifestyle.
