Replace the roof on my house
RNR Construction company. 505 Golf Rd, Suite 209, Arlington Heights, IL. We had hail damage to our roof and needed it replaced/repaired. The claim ended up going thru our insurance company.
Roof was originally installed on Saturday 11/20/21 & Sunday 11/21/21. Then I had to contact them 3 additional times to come out and to replace roof shingles back on the roof, due to the fact of the winds out by me. Which I did inform them when they first came out, due to the fact that we back up to a farm, which of course is wide open. I should not have to worry about shingles being blown off of my house and a few times it was raining and snowing. The 3 additional times that they had to come out were 12.13.21, 12.16.21 and again on 3.7. I was told the roof was installed properly, but if this was the case I should of never had to call them back an additional 3 times. Also, just wondering if the shingles that were originally put on if they were cheap and or if who they had do the work really did not know what they were doing.
I will never recommend this company to anyone, their work really stinks.
I should not have to worry about my roof, where I have shingles everywhere and the biggest thing is I am getting ready to put my house up for sale. As of now 3.10.22 all of the shingles are in tack. I just want this info to be know to the BBB, so no one else will have to go thru what I have gone thru. Very unreliable company-individual I dealt with his name is James Cho 224.489-4876. The roof should of been installed after it got warmer and that would of been this year 2022, but this is something that they should of known, but I guess they wanted the money from the insurance company last year and did a terrible job. All I know is I hope I will not have to have them come back out and do anymore repairs. I have had enough 4 times.
Also, was informed by James that there is a 5 year labor warranty and a 30 year warranty on the shingles.
Desired outcome: I do not want them to be recommended to anyone else. I would appreciate them getting investigated.

I have the same issue with this company, they did a terrible job on the roof and siding. The owner pretends that he can't speak English, I can't understand how you can do this in the US! They filed a fraud claim with the insurance stating that they removed my solar panels and reinstalled them. Which was a complete lie, since the solar company is the one who did the removal and reinstallation. Since I complained about the job is not completed and had the insurance company stop the final check. They actually forged my signature and tried to cash the check, luckily my insurance company caught it and stopped the check. I'm in the process of filing a lawsuit and filing a complaint with the DOI (Department of Insurance). Not to mention report to the police department for the check forgery, since cashing a forged check over $5K is actually a federal offense. For anyone trying to hire RNR be aware that they're allegedly in the process of changing the company name! The reason being they're currently under investigation for insurance fraud.
