I attempted to verify my ID, but upon reaching the verification page, it indicated that my browser was unsupported and required the use of Google Chrome. I promptly downloaded Chrome and proceeded with the verification. I've also attached a screen recording of the process (no sensitive information is visible). Unfortunately, I received an error message stating, 'Minimum Image Requirement Failed.' In my attempt to resolve this issue, I initiated a conversation with customer support via chat. To my surprise, they seemed clueless about the problem, and later, my account was inexplicably closed due to 'suspicious activity.' In my opinion, this company's practices are rather questionable.

I wouldn't recommend this website as they maintain stringent requirements and offer little assistance when issues arise.

Team led by an aerospace engineer with a Bitcoin only focus. The UI/UX is best in class and the attention to detail is second to none. Looking forward to this one evolving over the next few years. If fees drop to match Strike spread it is game over for all others.

It’s really frustrating for the app to resist my phone number so many times only to tell me “failed to add phone”. Had my digits correct and everything but you failed to add my number somehow. I don’t think I’ll ever recommend anyone to use this glitch of an app ever again.

Was excited to use River as they’re based out of Columbus just like my company is. Pretty good design and interface, but the process for KYC review is endless and intrusive. They ask for way too much personal and financial information for me to send my Bitcoin to a cold wallet. Not a fan.

I sent a few dollar worth of btc to river to try its lightning and when I tried withdraw that, I found that they ask for verification but as far I remember they asked for verification when the account was opened. Anyway, I submitted the documents ( taking selfie with your driving license in one hand and a hand written text in the other hand! How cumbersome!). They replied that they can not approve right now and I can ask them to reconsider after 3 months! Note their arrogant tone here and they didn’t also say why did mot approve as well! Now my btc is blocked and I lost my trust completely on them. Who knows one day they block all your btc or mined btc and say our stupid compliance team looks into all documents with strict regulations and flush all your earning down the toilet all at once. Never use this service. Everyone should know they are behaving like big powerful banks that do such things. They are not there to help solve the problem, take feedback and adapt quickly. Shame on River!

Look at their reply below and you will see how tone-deaf their tone is. They appear as the only regulated exchange in the town and no one else is like them.

Please, read other people’s reviews and you will see how frustrated and infuriated they are regarding all other disservices these incompetent people are giving and causing great pains to law abiding, honest, and hopeful decent people. All the positive reviews I guess are from River employees.
