Binance.US Waiting

I have been waiting almost 2 months for basic verification with Binance.US. In the support ticket I created back in early February I supplied them with all the information they require in order to manually verify an account. Throughout the time that I’ve been waiting I’ve tried emailing them on multiple occasions but always receive pre-written messages as a response. At no point in time have I had the opportunity to communicate with an actual employee. In a pre-written message I received from them a few weeks ago, they asked that I supply them with more information which I did. In response, I received a pre-written message asking for the same info to be sent again. Binance.US does not clarify how the info should be sent, whether through an e-mail or a new support ticket.
It’s unbelievable to me that the basic verification process could take this long. I signed up for Coinbase and Kraken and within minutes I was able to receive multiple levels of verification. Unfortunately, if Binance.US ever does verify my account I’m afraid that attempting to receive advanced or fiat verification could take an outrageous amount of time. Because of the wait and the unprofessional manner in which Binance.US handles customer service I do not feel comfortable with them having my personal information and would not be comfortable using their trading platform.

Binance.US Hard to look at. Verification process ridiculous

First off, in the time it took me to just set up the first 2-factor authentication in binance, i was already setup and trading on Coinbase or Robinhood. In other words just accessing the app took way too long. Then they want the ID and social # verification which took a couple days. Then you need to send a pic of your utility bills or bank statement and that took about 3 days to verify. Then they asked if i agree to terms and conditions and i clicked yes and now its making me wait about 3 days SO FAR to verify that? I dont even understand what there is to verify. Im missing out on a lot of trades because binance doesnt want to verify me even though they already verified my identity and my address and payment info. What else is there to verify!? Its still pending lol.

Secondly, there doesnt seem to be that many coins on the exchange. They have the same coin listed on /USD /USDT /BTC so it just seems like a lot. It makes it confusing because you dont know which coin to buy. Every other platform just says BTC why does binance make us chose BTC/USD or BTC/USDT or BTC/BTC...?
Its very unpleasant to look at. Not very clear on how to perform simple tasks. And you cant find the coin by its name only its ticker so most of the time i cant tell what coin im looking at.

Only reason i use binance is to buy other coins on its block chain. I wish this entity would crash and go out of business and dissolve because its just making the crypto world unpleasant to navigate

Binance.US Disappointed

Started my crypto journey in December . US citizen born, raised and remain. After thorough research chose Binance.us as the best platform for me to use. Applied for an account January and submitted everything they asked for just to sit and wait through the end of March while they reviewed my information. I read many reviews saying Binance.us commonly has false issues with pending accounts regarding proof of address. I didn’t think this would apply to me because I submitted everything exactly as they asked and I’ve been at the same address in the same state for the last four years. I should have been one of the simplest applications for them to approve. Yet here I sit today- almost May - and I JUST received an email this morning saying my address doesn’t match and I need to resubmit proof of address to move my application forward. Frankly, I wish I could delete this app and never look at them again but they have such a hold on the US market I need their app in order to work with certain cryptos and within available crypto communities. I am appalled and the company should be ashamed of themselves. I’ve missed out on so many investment opportunities because of Binance.US falsely holding up my account verification. After I write this review I will once again submit proof of address documentation to try and get an account approved. I sincerely hope other exchanges light a fire under them so US consumers have more choices as crypto popularity grows.

Binance.US I only gave a star to leave a horrible review

I’ve been waiting since may to find out why my account was suspended “for my security” without explanation or response after several attempts to follow up. Meanwhile Binance.US and smart chain have been hacked at least twice for over $100milliom and are subject of criminal investigations and securities fraud lawsuits in Europe Asia and America. They will be the death nail in crypto adoption by charging ungodly fees and destroying all security and and anonymity by destroying chain of custody and laundering real crypto for their wrapped BEP2 coins worthless without real crypto unless your a hacker looking for a platform that endorses fraud or honeypot decentralized finance to help the Central bank of China control win the inflation and global currency war. The only reason I want my account unlocked is to get access the 100K in legitimate currency I’ve worked hard to accumulate and stupid enough to trust for staking my coins. And won’t give me due process as an American why they have taken my liberty and property without due process or opportunity to correct whatever issue they won’t call email or provide any explanation as to why they allow blatant phishing and theft with coins designed to exploit people… if I ever get to withdraw my funds Ibpromise I’ll never use your platform again anyway… at this point I can’t wait until the US EU and Singapore security exchange commissions pull your license and rid the world of the biggest threat to security on the internet right now….

Binance.US Honest Review/New to Crypto

Like with any other service, everyone’s mileage will vary. I used to have Time Warner/Spectrum for internet (for 7 years) and they were consistently bad-mouthed but I literally never had problems or prolonged service issues. Same goes for my experience with various restaurants, retailers, banks, etc. So take my review with a grain of salt too; only fair.

I started using Coinbase but found the fees to be too high and they weren’t listing enough alt coins I was interested in accumulating. After doing some research, I switched to BinanceUS. The fees are lower, there are better alt coin options (though I will agree that the selection is severely lacking compared to Binance proper) and it’s intuitive for a new user such as myself. If I’ve ever had an issue, it was already announced on social media as I was experiencing it and resolution updates were also posted in a timely fashion; I have not been confused as to why something wasn’t working (on rare occasions there’s an issue). Now, caveats to all of this: I’m new to the app/exchange (only a month in), I still use other exchanges like Coinbase, KuCoin, etc if I am trying to find other alt coins and I’ve already developed a personal tracking method for IRS compliance and am not concerned with what/how they report as that’s my responsibility at the end of the day.

This isn’t comprehensive but unless I experience something that causes me to leave them for good, assume that my thoughts/opinions still stand at the time you’re reading this.

Binance.US Don’t expect them to keep any records…

For a company that operates in an volatile part of the financial sector under intense scrutiny by governments around the world, Binance.US is horrible at keeping records of transactions. And their APIs for tax tracking software are scattershot at best. I just spent 5+ hours trying to piece together a series of trades my wife made earlier this year for tax purposes and had to do so from our bank records, cold wallet transaction records, and various blockchain explorers. Eventually it was the the alerts section of the site where I finally found a clue to solve the case of our missing transactions….Binance was taking a huge fee to move VeChain and there was absolutely no record of it anywhere. NONE. The site is also missing transactions all over the place though. All of their tracking sections are incomplete. And then one point the website links to certain sections of transaction just disappeared. And never came back. I felt like I was in the movie Dark City! The buttons to generate a transaction report? Don’t work. The “customer support”? I even went to their maintenance announcements to see if I might be trying to do this in the middle of a website overhaul or something. Nothing. I get that we don’t have a lot of options in the US to buy some alt coins, but if you use Binance.US you better be prepared to meticulously record EVERYTHING yourself. Even Uniswap is better because at least tax software can figure out a swap just took place. Binance is a black box and there are going to be a lot of folks pulling out their hair come tax time…

Binance.US Would give ZERO or negative stars if I could

Add this review to all the other reviews from people fed up of being lied to. My account is over 15 business days of sitting in pending status and nothing has changed. There's zero communication from anyone. I finally decided to submit a ticket and received this email response from them.

"We are no longer accepting support ticket as this will not speed up the verification process and could potentially delay verification.

We aim to get you on our platform in a timely manner and appreciate you providing accurate and valid documents to make this possible. You will receive an email once verified or your verification will be reset to resubmit new documents."

That last sentence says it all! If it takes them too long to get to your verification, they don't care! They'll just reset everything so you have the joy of getting to submit your documents again and wait another month! NO THANKS!

There are other crypto exchanges out there. I'm taking my business elsewhere and deleting the app. I suggest whoever reads this does the same.

Update 3/13...would still give 1 star.
Account was finally verified/approved after 16-17 business days! After having used Binance for the past 2 weeks, I'm unimpressed. Truth be told, I'm only using Binance because other exchange I'm using hasn't enabled transfer of EGLD to my Elrond wallet. I bought EGLD 9 days ago via ACH deposit from my bank and it is STILL frozen on Binance even though the money cleared my bank a WEEK ago. All because Binance puts an archaic 10 day hold? This is 2021! A 10 day hold is absolutely ridiculous!

Binance.US Not a fan of the new design

I get what binance was trying to do here with adding more functionality to the advanced chart and also adding the simplified chart for more relaxed crypto investors, but the responsiveness on the new advanced chart is not the best. Trying to move it back and forth is really glitchy in responsiveness. It tries to scroll in groups amounts of time steps due to a really tough clash between scrolling left and right in the chart and scrolling up and down between the chart and order book and trade history tabs below. I personally don’t like when the chart seems embedded into the page as a window instead of really being THE page. Also once in buys/sells the ledger style is a little nicer when putting in orders since you longer have the old prompt flying up and covering the whole screen so you can see the chart, but I still want to be able to see the list of trade history orders on the blockchain (i.e., the trade history list you can see before going in to buy or sell.) I’m only able to see the order book stacks of asks and bids now with this new UI. It feels a lot like the website now and personally the website version is not exactly my favorite for placing orders… I liked the decision to be able to full screen the chart in landscape view though. This definitely needs the ability to be able to do orders on the side of the screen and see the order book stack or real time trade history table. This would be perfect as everything would be in front of you with out needing to scroll up and down to see whats happening. Landscape is where the chart and buy/sell should more resemble the website in my opinion.

Binance.US Crappiest customer service ever and good luck trying to open an account, lol

You will be lucky if you are able to open an account and start trading. I have been trying to sign up and buy certain coins that I can’t find on other exchanges for over a month because they can’t seem to verify my address, identity, etc. every step of the way in their onboarding process is an obstacle that stops you in your track of purchasing. The worst part is, there is no real customer service for many of these exchanges, never a human customer rep who can answer your questions. I don’t think Binance even has chat help bots. For such giant wealthy companies, they sure are skimpy on their expenditures on taking care of their customers. There is so much that they should or could do to improve their app and customer experience. Please consider that your customers will continue to search for the best app, with ease of use, and I can’t stress enough about how valuable customer service is to users who are new to crypto. Your app leaves new investors out because of how difficult it is to deal with not having hardly any customer support at all. I am sure many frustrated potential users just bailed to buy their crypto on crypto.com, Voyager, or even Coinbase (nit the best but better and 10x faster onboarding than Binance) I was not very happy with Coinbase at tImes (lack of customer service), hence I tried to create multiple accounts to compare the services, but Binance has been the worst experience. May be your company only cares about defy project eco space and developers coming to dev on the Binance blockchain, but they should care more about their retail investors so they can keep them using the exchange.

Binance.US Binance Froze My Funds (for no reason)

This was the first platform I ever downloaded and used. I had it well before they released the new update and honestly it was probably better before that. two months ago binance disabled my account. I am not sure why - I believe it has something to do with their inability to properly process deposit attempts - because I definitely had enough funds in my bank (Usually on this app only about 50% of deposit attempts are successful). So “I got an error message reading “please deposit $1,000 to correct chargeback”. So I did exactly what I was told to do. Still couldn’t use my account. So I did that same deposit two more times (for a total of $3,000). I am able to see everything a normal user would see on the app, but I can’t buy or sell or transfer. Essentially my funds are frozen. I am dying to get this issue resolved - for months I have been putting in customer service tickets and following up with emails. I am absolutely begging to get something done but I have not once received any sort of response. My portfolio is up 400% since I started and I want to take profits but I can’t.

I never write reviews but I am writing this one because I don’t want anyone to have to deal with the same thing that I am going through. It’s horrible not knowing what’s going to happen with your money. Since then I have downloaded crypto.com and Voyager. Both of these platforms are significantly better with more efficient onboarding process and less technical glitches. Particularly Voyager. The only reason you should EVER download binance.us is if you want to purchase ZIL. But if you do please take my advice and immediately put it in a secure wallet. Do not keep it on the exchange.

Binance.US Waiting for weeks…

My dad uses this app and LOVES it, and finally convinced me to download it and get into crypto. I knew the verification process took a while, but was unprepared for the wait I have been having. On Dec. 21, I reached out to Binance.US because it had been more than 14 days since I had submitted all of my identity verification materials, and my account still said “pending.”

They wrote me back (ticket 2044728) and said they apologized for the situation, that it usually doesn’t take this long, and they were “escalating the issue for manual review.”

I was still frustrated but understood.

On Jan. 3, I sent another email on the same ticket chain inquiring about the wait, as my verification was still “pending” and got the EXACT SAME EMAIL, word for word, in response.

So…still frustrated, right? Yes. And waiting on some actual help. I even offered to try and start the process over again, but there’s no option to do so through the app.

At any rate—it’s Jan. 13, my verification is STILL pending, I have received no further communication from the company, and am more than a little annoyed.

I know the app works, because my Dad uses it every day. But the verification process (at least for me) is insanity.

I have never before left a one star review on an app that worked well just because of my own personal experience, but I am hoping that—since I can’t get any answers through customer service—this review can be seen by some of your software folks and you can fix this problem. Also, writing this to warn others interested that they may or may not even get to use the product.

The product may be a good one, but if you’re not able to onboard new users, that’s an issue that needs to be resolved.

Binance.US Better than Coinbase Pro

So before I tried this app months ago. I read all these horrible reviews about their Customer Service. I do think they definitely need to fix their customer service since I tried contacting them a month ago. They emailed me back stating that they're busy and I'll get back at me. Luckily it wasn't nothing serious.

My five star rating is for the App itself, and not their customer service. This app is better than Coinbase Pro because it shows you in the order history how much you paid for a transaction. In Coinbase Pro all it shows you is the amount of coins you paid for, and doesn't show you the cash USD price. Which makes it more time consuming to go and figure it out. The only way you could see how much you paid for in dollars for a transaction in Coinbase Pro, is to go to their website and download your statement, time consuming when you have to make decisions fast. The other issue I had with Coinbase Pro and not with Binance US app is that when the app gets real busy and for example a coin is either crashing down, or sky rocketing up. And you want to either buy or sell. The Coinbase Pro app crashes. It happened to me three times. I couldn't even log in. It said their server was down. With Binance US I never had an issue with my transactions, even when there's high volumes of transactions going on. The app is smooth and detailed orientated. You could also see how much you paid for a purchase in USD in their history box. They also have stats and analytics on how the coins are performing throughout the day. And the best part of the app is that you could add Stop-Limits to your coins, something that is rare in Crypto Broker or exchanges. This is my top app for now. Hope Binance U.S. gets their stuff together and improves on their customer service as well.

Binance.US Horrible (scam?)

There is something extremely fishy about this app.

First of all it is the only crypto app that has had me go through a 4 step verification process revealing extremely detailed information just to buy a single coin. Extremely frustrating even if it is the law. Second you have to wait 8-10 days to be able to send an receive your BNB coin. So depending on the market you are trying to buy into. You can get screwed and miss your profit window by literal days! And this is for every single BNB purchase in my experience. 8-10 days. Not only does it take 8-10 days, but you don’t even know how long it’s actually going to take because there is no transaction history.

The weird scam part. Like I just mentioned it takes 8-10 days per transaction (in my experience) but you still “buy the coin” so even though the funds aren’t taken from your account, the amount of the coin you purchase still fluctuates in the market. Luckily I made 10% but at one point I lost 10% and I can see that being disastrous. I don’t understand why it is like this. Why can’t it just hold the funds and wait until you are ACTUALLY able to purchase the coin. Is it to inflate the value of the coin cuz thousands of people are waiting for their transactions to go through? Who knows?

Last part of the “scam part”. I had my girlfriend buy some on her account to match a trade I was going to do to double profits. It was a test run so it was only $150. But when she went to purchase the coin, it wasn’t going through. She then repeatedly clicked the buy button and it charged her 4x the amount. What kind of app/website that requires a 4 step verification process doesn’t have a way to stop you from purchasing 4x the amount because of an error on their end?!

Absolutely ridiculous. So then that money is susceptible to the market like I said before.

Binance.US It’s all crumbling very fast unless some things are changed in the VERY near future

Has become VERY slow after clicking back and forth through the interface (likely due to enforced API fetched metadata that cannot be changed or controlled by you) In it’s early days, things were halfway decent, ran smoothly, accepted card fiat deposits *for a fee of course(ACH has NEVER worked) and had the widest selection of hard to get coins like EGLD and HBAR. Things were bad when former U.S. comptroller came aboard, but now even worse as he abruptly jumped ship outta nowhere citing “Strategic Differences” which equals= I’m not going to be a fall guy in ANY part of this. Anyways back to the app, more recently the withdrawal of crypto and/or fiat has become a complete gamble, sometimes I can buy coins and pull them off the exchange almost immediately after an card fiat deposit, sometimes not. Nowhere was this notice of changes issued to anybody as far as I can tell from the comments.

It seems these exchanges conveniently have downtime or issues when there is heavy volatility in the market, Coinbase is guilty of this too but you would think with the money they’ve spent to hire the best devs we wouldn’t have these issues. I didn’t want too, but I’m starting agree with other reviewers that BSC is a total heist in favor of China’s will for Global domination. It’s now getting to the point of no return, it has gone on for too long, either make it right and step up customer service or get clipped by the ever evolving regulatory crackdowns from the states. It’s time to get down to “Brass Tax”. Speaking of Brass that’s another giant foothold the Republic is trying to dominate.. Metals/Minerals, Neodymium in particular located in a country that has been all over the news recently.

2 stars just for that last bit of hope and trust that I have for BSC as a whole, if they are able to turn things around you would think they would start with the U.S. money flow first.

Binance.US Worst exchange in the world

Day after I transferred my funds to Binance.us my account was locked. Despite the fact that I am a verified/KYC user. It’s been weeks now and there customers support keeps sending me automated repeated messages saying there team is on my case and they have no ETA when my account could get unlocked. I believe they are locking accounts on purpose for weeks / months for liquidity purpose. I have already filed a complaint with (ComplaintsBoard.com) ComplaintsBoard.com. Like me there are thousands of people suffering from locked accounts or withdrawals being frozen for no reason. If any one knows a good lawyer pls recommend for a class action lawsuit. Like me there are thousands of complaints. 1. Update : I received a email from Binance.us customer support stating that they still have no update on when my account would get unlocked.I am already a verify user with KYC I don’t know why Binance.us needs weeks/ months to unlock my already verified account . With so many ppl complaining I don’t know why Apple would allow such platforms in IOS. 2. Update contacted customer support via live chat. Apparently Binance.US is understaffed and has abandoned backlog they have no ETA on when my account could get unlocked . Weeks/ months or even years. I am suppose to wait patiently wile they take there time to verify an account that has already been verified . BTW I even offered them I can fly down to there office and show my identification in person to resolve this. They have no intention on releasing my funds/ account. 3. Updates don’t Bother with ComplaintsBoard.com ComplaintsBoard.com. They simply closed my case once Binance.us replied back stating “ we are in contact with this user and will communicate through open ticket” what joke ComplaintsBoard.com is . My last option is to get a crypto lawyer. I know it’s not going to be cheap if your reading this review Binance.us why don’t I just pay you my legal fee and you release my account ? I will take this as punishment for trusting Binance.US & not doing more research.

Binance.US Can’t Log In :(

5/14 - Unfortunately I’m giving up :( It’s been well over a month and the issues with logging in haven’t been resolved. I haven’t been able to log in once. I’ve been going back-and-forth with support for a few weeks and they’re really nice but their responses are clearly not actually reading my messages completely. I’ve explained all the things I’ve tried to fix the issues (multiple times) but they keep suggesting the same generic tips that I’ve already said I’ve tried (try clearing the cache, try using different browsers, try using my phone, try using my computer, try using the app - I’ve done them all many times). Oh well... :(

5/1 - They’ve responded to check in if my issue has been resolved, which I appreciate! But no matter what I try, on my computer, different browsers, on the iPhone app, it still says my passwords are incorrect, no matter how many times I change the password and try again, and it says I’m already registered when I try to register. No idea what to do :(

4/27 - They finally replied after I created a new ticket, sent me some of the common fixes and tips to try (I’ve already tried them all multiple times). I responded with screen shots of what errors I’m seeing but so far nothing is working.

4/26 - I created an account 2 weeks ago but have never been able to sign in. It always says my password is incorrect even though I’ve changed it a dozen times and I KNOW I’m entering it correctly. I’ve been very careful when entering my password to be sure. I emailed support 2 weeks ago as well about the issue but haven’t received a response. I can only imagine how backed-up they are with people signing up and emails for support, but it’s a pretty long time to not get a response. I tried creating an account again thinking there might have been a glitch or something and my account was never created, but it says my email address is already in use, so it was created.
I’ll update my rating as soon as the issue is resolved, but as of now it’s still not letting me log in :(

Binance.US DON’T DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL! Very Difficult to Deposit Money

I have been trying to buy SHIBA INU for a long time on this App. Even though I’ve connected and linked my bank with Binance.US, I always get an error message: “Deposit Failed” This has caused me to miss buying various coins at the right time & price. After some weeks, the deposit takes place (that’s after I’ve deleted the App and reinstalled it several times) but the price has gone up, so no need to even bother buying the coins. After many times of trying to deposit money on this App, they stole/ deducted $86 from my bank account for no apparent reason, without warning! Are Binance.US now charging you for depositing money onto their platform? I am setting up a claim report with my bank about Binance.US. This is Fraud! Cmon Binance. You can do better than this! Charging customers for depositing? Preventing people from depositing for weeks on end? The ORIGINAL Binance is way better than this App. You get 1 star from me If I could, I’d give you 0 stars. Update on the Situation: FOLKS, PLEASE DONT DOWNLOAD or INSTALL BINANCE.US! Here’s why. I saw an unauthorized charge of $86 in my bank account from Binance.US. I immediately reported it as fraud to my bank and filed a claim. My bank was excellent in handling the situation and got back the $86 from these fraudsters. But guess what! Binance.US blocked my account. I can’t deposit, buy, trade or sell any Crypto. They’ve completely blocked my account. Whenever I try to do a transaction, It displays: “your transaction has been flagged for safety reasons. Please follow the instructions on the email sent to you.” In the generic email they send, they say that I owe them $86 and that I need to pay it back. There’s no account number provided to pay the amount back and they’ve blocked my Binance.US account so there’s no way to pay it. Why can’t they activate deposits, so that I may deposit the $86 they’re crying about. Then they simply deduct it from my deposit account in the App? They also sent several generic emails saying that I owe them $86 and need to pay it in order to activate my account. They also say that they will liquidate my Crypto in the App in order to recover the $86, of which they are yet to do. They did not even list or breakdown exactly what they are charging me $86 for. There was no explanation. I’ve tried several times to reach out to their accounts & customer service department in order to resolve the matter. I even left a support ticket within the App. I’ve received no response from them or why they charged me $86. They are the worst. Many people tell me that they’ve had a similar nasty experience and it usually takes many months, even more than 6 months to get a single reply from them. I’ve no problem paying the money. It’s just that I want transparency, honesty & accountability from Binance.US. They need to provide me with a statement, a list and a breakdown of how they arrived at charging me $86. Where did they get that figure from? Friends, if you don’t want problems in your life, if you want to avoid headaches, keep away from this App and platform. When they decide to mess you up, they mess you big time. They’re nasty! This App should be removed from the App Store!

Binance.US Not Starting 2021 Well

[Warning. This is long.]

I had the original version of Binance a few years ago because it was more functional than Coinbase. App worked fine. Eventually, I became less active with crypto and just stopped using. Logged back in recently to realize that U.S. users have to use the Binance.US app now. Fair enough.

Got Binance.US transferred my portfolio over (what was left of it) and closed the former account. Nothing but problems since.

First, when attempting the identity verification don’t make the mistake I made and rush through to the Advance identification. What they do not tell you is if you completed the Basic Verification and start any part of the Advanced that you now have to finish that as well before you can link an account. Again, fair. “Charge it to the cost of tuition.” I know better now.

Now that I to finish the advanced verification they give you choices of what government issued ID to use for the process, there’s like 4 or so choices. Decided to use my passport. Process failed and received a notification within 30 minutes. I don’t recall at the time there being a disclaimer that there was a preferred ID that should be used for quicker results. It wasn’t until the latest update (2.3.2) where a noticeable disclaimer was added that Driver’s License works the quickest. What do you know, they were more than right. Verification was completed in what seems like 15 minutes (early on a Saturday morning). Don’t know why they accept other forms of ID (particular passport) if they know there’s a obviously higher chance of rejection...(I’m aware not everyone has a Driver’s License but is that really all that common?)

Okay. Now I’m ready to go right? WRONG! Tried to set up an ACH link so I can add funds to my account. Should be straight-forward. Select your bank, enter you login credentials, select an account and done. Nope. Select the account and the screen goes blank and nothing happens. Process just stops dead in its tracks. Maybe I should use the desktop version of the site through Safari.

Yet ANOTHER problem. The screen is clearly not optimized for mobile devices (at last not iPhone). No matter if you’re in portrait or landscape orientation, you will eventually get to a point where you can no longer continue the ACH link process because you won’t be able to tap the ‘Continue’ button. The zoom is inconsistent as well. Sometimes you turn to landscape and the selection is very zoomed in to the point where you can’t see the ‘Continue’ button. You probably could select it if you could actually swipe and scroll the screen but you can’t do that either. Turn the phone back to portrait and everything is super tiny and zoomed out and the ‘Continue’ button, which should be visible now, is completely gone. Still can’t scroll/swipe either.

As of right now, the app gets 1 star because I literally cannot use it. I wouldn’t be so harsh accept I have [limited] experience with the original app and it at least worked. I don’t know what’s going with this hot garbage. This is as of mid February .

Oh, and I put in a couple of support requests which they still haven’t responded to. In fact, I got a quicker response from the “vanilla” Binance app when I was trying to figure out how to close my original account than the new account. With this and taking into consideration that they currently have a disclaimer telling users not to put in support requests for identity verification because it takes time is kind of telling in my opinion.

I didn’t want to $#!+ on this app but they earned it.

If the developers don’t like my review that’s a good thing. It means they should be VERY motivated to fix things. They have plenty.

Binance.US Missing funds

In October of 2022 I deposited $19900 in BInanceUS account, 3 weeks later my account was frozen. Customer Service , An A Lee tried to help but could not open my account. In October 2023 Binance emailed my account is closed, money missing and I’m banned from using their exchange permanently! Where is my deposit? I have paperwork to prove all I’m stating

Binance.US Avoid Binance US at all costs. WARNING

Binance US is a joke as compared to the original, low volume, missing like 90% of the features you get on the real Binance app and the verification is frustratingly slow (even if you follow their guidelines to the tee). Good luck filing your taxes as US Binance will report each and every single trade, so may the odds be in your favor come tax time. ***TL;DR: Avoid this US version at all costs. The verification process is unusually slow and sketchy (and Deceptive in its marketing, as it will take days if not the more realistic -> WEEKS to complete the full verification as compared to any other exchange I’ve utilized to date. Gemini, Coinbase Pro, Kraken, or the ORIGINAL BInance (restricted to US) all beat this app, it’s not even close. I’d even use RobinHood over this, at this point. Please replicate the ORIGINAL Binance app and optimize it for US and kindly implement all of the amazing features missing from the the original, Outstanding app you all have cultivated previously; and thereafter I may consider returning and editing my review to reflect. Happy hunting friends, may financial prosperity be yours!

Binance.US I thought this was a tech space

Binance.US what’s the point in asking for direct access to my bank account and a debit card if you’re only going I hold the find for 5 days any easy. All this instant settlement, cryptos fast and safe (as long as we custody it cough, cough. You’re just like the banks you claim to be trying to replace. What do Coinbase and Binance.US have in common. They’re both American financial institutions trying to screw the American people into excepting a digital form of banking (control) before we realize the freedom that could be had if we woke up. So stay decentralized as long as you can. switch Coinbase with JPMorgan and Binance is Goldman Sachs and you’ll understand how screwed we are. Binance.us app? Awful. Customer service? awful. Ability to have tons of traffic during market volitity? Embarrassing. You do one thing and if you do that one thing horribly you go out of business. And Coinbase? Hahahah they’re just blatant crooks. Be careful the people closes to you usually know how to crush you. Keep your info and your mo yes decentralized as long as possible!

Binance.US Non existent customer service

I don’t remember the last time I wrote a review for anything but after my experience with binance.us customer service (or lack thereof) I feel inclined to write this. I needed my address verified so account features are limited until then so I reached out to customer service and initially, I got a response. Everything after that initial response was just useless daily emails to them asking the status or how to reset as there was an error in my address that I signed up with vs. the address on my DL that was uploaded for proof. Anyone trying to open a new account, BE SURE to match your address down to the T. If your proof of address has “street” and the address you sign up with is abbreviated “St.”, that will not get you verified and further delay your process…then having to reach out to non-existent, crappy, customer service to reset the account as you cannot do it manually. Everything in your address MUST MATCH. So now I think I am on day 4 with no response from customer service. I will update this once I get a response and let ya’ll know how long it takes (if I even get a response at all)

Binance.US Stole My data/relentless spam texts

I guess you’re supposed to sign up using a burner phone, cause now i get about 40 text messages a day from automated scammers.

the actual app is decent and allows you to track crypto with out signing up for an account… but beware once you give them your phone number in about 3 weeks you will notice an escalation of spam text messages.

once you’re into the crypto game you will have everything you need to throw your money away on magical serial numbers, i haven’t made any money yet, but the user interface is nice and has a lot of charting info that really isnt explained, and precise data on returns and tracking isnt available, probably to obfuscate how much money they’re laundering.

the set up process is pretty intense and dropping money requires a debit card, they want to make sure you have no recourse should the thing go belly up. They literally have enough info on me to steal my identity and make a fake passport. but at least trades are instant and you have a realtime balance update so you can see all your cryptos and and exactly what the sum value is in USD along with the total number of ‘coins’.

Binance.US ⚠️ READ CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING

-I was one of Binance’s first customers in 2017
- I was even Twitter friends with CZ in the early days I’ve held BNB since it was less than $1 and still hold it.
- Well now that CZ is kicking us off after giving in to supporting all that goes against crypto, I no longer can use it even with a VPN.

-So I temporarily went over to Binance U.S. but they stole $50,000 from me the first month I was there a year ago and never gave it back because they messed up my KYC.

-They stole $96,000 from another friend that nearly bankrupt him right when he had his first child.

-They stole around $20k from another friend who attempted to self harm himself when he couldn’t get help to get his life savings back.
-IT’S WRONG!

- Then CZ allows Brian Brooks, a criminal, to run Binance U.S. like this with no customer service or care for people’s lives.

-Their social media manager on Twitter said they were fixing it this time and making special effort to get it right 47 times! And they never remembered me after each time. I never got my money back, but bad things are coming for the entire Binance name, so stay far away or you’ll likely end up like me and my friends

Binance.US Never received funds

I’ve never left a review in my life on an app but hopefully this will get someone’s attention from the company to finally reach back out to me.

On May 27th of this year I attempted to withdraw around $270 from the Binance.US app via ACH directly to my bank account. It’s currently July 4th and I have yet to receive not only the funds I withdrew but any sort of update from the team as to where the funds even are. I’ve checked my bank statements MULTIPLE times and haven’t seen anything com through til this day.

According to Binance.US it can take up to 3-7 business days for funds to appear. It’s been over a month at this point..

I opened up a ticket to have someone help resolve this issue on June 1st. A week later on June 8th someone finally got back to me stating they are extreme sorry for the late response and noticed that I still hadn’t received a solution yet and are willing to help if I need assistance. I’ve responded to that email three times since and have gotten zero responses regarding how to solve the issue or any sort of update as to where the funds are.

It’s extremely irritating knowing that no one from the Binance team can get back to me and update to me as to where the funds are or even assure me that the issue is being dealt with.

Binance.US Verification process

I am giving Binance.US a single star because they can’t figure out how to verify my account. Their customer service also won’t respond to emails until they absolutely have something to tell you. I have been waiting for over a week to have my account verified. When I contacted CS to find out what was going on I had to open two tickets before anyone responded to me. Then all they did was escalate my ticket and say “we will be in touch when we have some to tell you”. They do not give you any time frame or possibility as to when the issue may be resolved. If you can get your crypto’s on a different platform I would start there. Update 10/27 I opened my account on 10/6. I provided all the requested documents and am still waiting for my account to be verified. This is unacceptable, if you can buy crypto’s on other platforms I would recommend doing that instead of waiting for the Binance customer support. They do not respond to emails and will tell you “we will let you know when it gets fix”.
Update 11/8: it has been over a month and I have only received 3 emails from their CS department. I am tired of waiting for them to fix the verification issue and will never use this companies services. If they can’t fix a verification issue, I don’t want them handling my money.

Binance.US No customer service

I have sent repeated emails regarding my email security concerns and receive no information back. I have sent messages “tickets” on a daily basis and yet they still contact me with other information ( not my particular issue) to that same email. All I wanted to do was change my email because I did not believe it was safe at the time and can not get a hold of anyone, ever. At this point, I gave up. My transaction history is deleted except for the past three months but luckily I save that information myself. I have never seen such a thing on other platforms.
No one returns emails, even when I said my email may have been compromised. I did not want my account turned off, but just help me simply change my email.? How is there not a change email security feature on this app? That’s scary to learn the hard way. At that point, I gave up trying and resisted adding to what I already have.This is not the first time it has taken long periods of time for any form of communication but this was a security issue and I felt trapped.
I don’t feel safe with the customer service or lack there of.
I may not have the kind of money that others on this platform have, but the frightening thought is, what if I did? Thank you for providing the feed back opportunity. However, I don’t anyone really cares.

Binance.US Customer service is disgusting

If I could give this 0 stars I would, the company is atrocious, I have never seen a company more dedicated to literally 0 customer service than binance.us

Not only did it take weeks for my support ticket to be answered, I had to email back and forth about 5 times as the customer service agents do not understand or they’re so commited to the script they’re serving you they do not deviate one bit. Not only do they keep telling me they cannot help me it took over a month or more to hear it for the 10th time and they still didn’t understand what my issue was.

My ID verification was the last straw, I sailed through all verification seamlessly except for my ID, which in app is said to be used for facial recognition to ensure you are you, the residential verification was handled in the previous step, I’m military my ID is from NY, my ID gets scanned my photo taken and the automated bot says the ID is from an unsupported state, my state isn’t NY I do not reside there and the customer service agents do nothing to help in any way.

It’s ridiculous that the tech support cannot help someone to get online to use their service clearly they’re allergic to customers.

That said I know this is long, but stay away use ANYTHING ELSE. Kraken Coinbase LITERALLY ANYTHING is much more user friendly and less of a hassle.
