I use to love my rite aid and pharmacy but around the 1st of May the entire staff changed. The worst is the pharmacy. I got phone notifications that my refil was ready but when I would call to confirm no one would answer the phone, I called for an entire week 3 times a day. I went in the store thinking the phone was broke and waited in the slowest longest...

On 6/1/2022 I called Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Hamden, CT (6:48 pm) because my Freestyle Libre Sensor fell off. A young woman answered and was very nice, but what I hadn't realized was that my new insurance went into effect on 6/1 and I had not gotten my card yet. I said I would see if I could get the insurance information and I would call back. When I did I...

Rite Aid disgustingly dirty store

I visited Rite aid at 1717 Pine Ave. in Niagara Falls New York today to get my second booster for covid 19, I was appalled at the condition of this store, It is filthy dirty, especially the pharmacy area, dirt piled everywhere, it was not like this in December when I got my first Booster! Stains all over the floor, I actually took pictures to prove what I am saying!

Rite Aid Rite Aid not answering their phones

On May 10th 2022 around 2:30pm. The phone rings twice, dead silence and then eventually the phone disconnects. Nobody ever comes to the phone. This is the Pharmacy Department in Elkton MD 21921

Patients need their pharmacies to be available. Some prescriptions are urgently needed.

By the way we should be able to lodge a complaint without having to sign up with a social media platform.

Desired outcome: I would like them to answer their phones so I can get a prescription ordered. A pharmacy should always answer their phones. Patients need their prescriptions ordered.

Rite Aid obtaining a rx

When I contacted the pharmacy about a new prescription, they told me they never received it from my physician. Upon my contacting my physician they had forwarded it to the pharmacy on April 19, 2022. My physician office called the pharmacy and said yes they had received but needed my new insurance information. I personally drove t the pharmacy to give them my new insurance information and was told they already had it but couldn't refill my prescription because it had been filled by my previous pharmacy which it had because of them stating they did not have the new script. It cost me $78.82 more than it should have because of them actually about this information.

Desired outcome: Please refund or credit my next prescription for this amount,

Rite Aid Rite aid #5323

Before leaving home to walk to the Rite Aid #5323 I checked their website to confirm that I could get the second Covid booster shot. When I arrived at the pharmacy I was told that I needed an appointment. I told them that I had confirmed 'Walk Ins Welcome' was posted on their website. The pharmasis told methat regardless of what the website says, their store is appointment only, no exceptions. I would have called them prior to walking there, but it is almost impossible to reach the pharmacy. I recently tried over the course of 3 days to reach them with a medication question and they didn't answer the phone. That is why I trusted the website information instead of wasting time calling. The information on the website should have been honored, or the website information changed.

Desired outcome: Reliable website information

Rite Aid BARTELL's Pharmaceutical service at the store located at 1001 Mercer St in Seattle , Washington.

I have concerns that I discovered that I was short in blood pressure pills called esplerenone while I was setting up my pill box to include medications which I planned to take.

Nephrologist prescribed esplerenone tablets twice a day for high blood pressure and for a genetic condition referred to as pulmonary adosteronism!

If I do not take that medication twice a day--morning and evening, it could lead to serious situation,

Concerning the shortage of the esplerenone pills , I phoned the Bartells store on Sunday afternoon between 3 :30 and 4:00 PM (the store closes at 4 pm on Sunday), and inquired about the esplerenone.

A clerk answered the phone ( i do not recall the name exactly, I believe it was Jackie), and I inquired with a polite, disconcerning point of view on why i did not receive the esplerenone tablets this time. The pharmacist or the clerk at the bartell store located at 1001 Mercer St.

The clerk respnded that my caregiver , Abu, took home Cincalcet(or Sensipar, medication used to lower one's calcium level and to prevent kidney stones) and esplerenone.

Immediately, I repplied over the phone that I received in a plastic Bartells plastic bag with 6 bottles of Cincalcet and 3 small bottles of ondanistran, I did nor receive the 180 tablets of esplerenone which I supposed to have received. The pharmacist or technician retorted that I look around ,

I did look around , and searched in every Bartells bag in the pantries of the kitchen area of my apartment.

No esplerenone showed up.

My caregiver and I are very careful how we handle medications, I do not believe that my PCA lost the medication. Bartells on Merrcer Street is only a block away from my residence on Minor Avenue North,Furthermore, my caregiver is a member of a family of physicians (she studied nursing) and she respects the values of American healthcare.

What concerns meis that I may have to pay "out of pocket" expenses fror another esplerenone prescription if my insurance company, United Healthcare, refuses to pay for another esplerenone prescription of 180 tablets.

I have patronized Bartells for about 15 years before it was sold to Rite-Aid,

It appears that service at the Bartells require more training and not always perfect !

But I have spent money in that store,

I noted one major aspect of the customer service in that Bartells store there should be more than one clerk employed in every department of the store.

I assume that pandemic has affected store operations!,

Best,

Maurice F Shaw]

[protected]

78 year old man , retired

Desired outcome: Hope I can recover my esplerenone soon

Rite Aid Money exchange

I wanted to exchange 50.00 in nickles, dimes and quarters. They said it had to be rolled. It was a Saturday and they said take it to a bank. The Web says you have money services and I was denied. No law that says currency has to be rolled. That's you people not wanting to do your [censored]ing job. Currency is currency.

There is no answering the phone at this store. I can no longer reorder refills on meds or check to see if they're ready. This all seemed to come about once rite aid started testing for Covid. I tried to make excuses in the beginning but, this has gone on way too long. Plus, it is such an inconvenience. I am a senior and unable to get around now. I need to...

Rite Aid Rewards points changes and price discrepancies

I just had a Rite Aid employee try to tell me their new rewards system is "so much better" than before and I am incorrect that I ever got 20% off on non sale items. I then called customer service who confirmed yes, obviously I'm not crazy and used to get a 20% discount, but that's over.

As a Gold member for a decade, I spent thousands at Rite Aid and it was our go to for many things. I received 20% of non sale items, so even when prices began to soar it was doable. No longer.

They've done away with those benefits, so most loyal customers from years past have had their main benefit taken away. Now, you get a $2.00 off coupon if you spend $100 (10 points for $1 spent). Instead of 20% off $100 of full price items, it will be $98, which equates to an 18% raise in price. It's a savings of 2% I also don't care to keep track and deal with points bonuses for sale items and other nonsense.

In addition, I just bought a Noxema product for $6.59 (no discount) and the same item is online at riteaid.com for $3.99, right now.

After a decade and many years of shopping at Rite Aid, I'm finished shopping there.

Desired outcome: I'm sure they won't care, but if enough Gold members stop spending thousands every year at Rite Aid they might care.

I, too, hate the new rewards system. I used to spend a lot of money at Rite Aid, and I loved getting 20% off non-sale items. Now, they have raised prices on some items I used to buy there, and they have gotten rid of my 20% discount, so I am no longer spending large amounts of money at Rite Aid. I have found many of the products much cheaper online or at other retail stores. I hope Rite Aid will change back to the old system, which was much simpler. I miss going there a couple of times a week, sometimes just to browse. But, it's just too expensive for me there now.

I hate the new system too. I enjoyed the simple 20% off every year that I got by simply filling prescriptions and spending money at Rite Aid. That's gone. Now you have to use their klugey awful app and clip coupons. There are no automatic discounts. It was simple before. Now it is complicated and horrible. I am done shopping at Rite Aid. CVS is close to my house and at least their ExtraBucks are easy to understand. You messed up Rite Aid. I hope you change it back but you probably don't care. Some data driven genius came up with the new system and you pooped on all of your old customers. I hope it backfires.

Rite Aid The blonde haired female cashier in the pharmacy named "Dawn".

On 3-24-22 I sent my son to the Rite Aid to get me some over the counter medications. I am sick and fresh out of the hospital. One of the over the counter medications (Suphed) required an I D and signature to buy. My son did not have his license on him. He came back home and I gave him his State of DE issued Identification card that was issued by the division of motor vehicles. I called to make sure there would be no problem with the I D and the girl said she would not take the I D. I HAD TO GO TO THE STORE, SICK, AND IN MY PAJAMAS to get my own medications. Then the cashier got an attitude and refused to wait on me. Very nasty girl, that Dawn. I had to go get the manager to ring up my purchases. I have been shopping at Rite Aid for over 50 years, back when Rich worked at Triangle Mall. This girl, Dawn, is very rude, unprofessional, and should not be working with the public. She also told the manager that my son "took forever" to come back for the meds. I can assure you it took him 10 minutes to get home and pick me up and we were right back there within half an hour. I do not appreciate this Dawn's smart mouth and the way she treated me and my son. I can assure you after shopping at Rite Aid for over 50 years I will be changing to Walgreen's or CVS. And you can thank your employee, Dawn, for chasing your loyal customers away. Thank you for your time. BTW. This was in store #11183 at 501 E. Basin Rd. New Castle, DE. And the person I am complaining about is named "Dawn", per the manager.

Desired outcome: Get rid of her. She doesn't know how to work with the public. She's rude, ignorant, and has no business working with the public.

Rite Aid New Rewards program

This new program is a terrible idea!

We’ve been customers for over 10 years. We were top level 20% off and we loved it!

We avoid Walmart and any box store to shop at Rite Aid!

Now we have no reason to shop here other than Rx and we might as well get those at a Walmart too. I don’t want my savings $ at some future date. I want it NOW!

Desired outcome: Change back to the old program so we continue as Rite Aid customers.

Rite Aid Refusal to change name for my children!

I have 4 young children in the system, all of whom have been adopted for years! Your company has several times refused to change names to new/ correct names. I find it rude that your corporation doesn't honor name changes of minor children, even after receiving new birth certificates.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time and correct their names!

Thank you, denise varley [protected] or 52 north indian valley court, little egg harbor twp new jersey, 08087.

Also your customer service at 4:45pm. Location 220 mathis town road leh was extremely rude to myself and my son because we questioned why it wasn't/ couldn't be changed. We were informed that is there name so nothing can be changed and that she doesn't like our family!

your store manager at the corona del mar location in ca. Randy Riese has discriminated against me and my service dog, not allowing us in the store, ive already retained counsel the store refused us in specifically the manager, not only that but he banned me from not only that store but every rite aid ever, how does one person have the ability to do that, because of him you have lost a lifelong customer, what you do about it is up to you ive given you plenty of information to move forward unless you just dont want to?

after humiliating me not only did the manager tell me i was banned from coming back into their store because he wouldnt allow my service dog to enter, he then told me he knows i shop at the bayside store and that he already called ahead and told :Gloria" the manager there, not to let me in and he did the same with the San Miguel location...please, someone tell me how the manager of one small store has the capacity to speak for the entire Rite Aid corporation and ban me from shopping at any of their stores...this guy was a bully ...also, hes living quite the thug life on Facebook...

okay, i rarely, if ever, call a person out...however what this guy did to me this morning was humiliating. I went to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription , the manager Randy Riese told me I couldnt enter with Rascal, my service dog..when i protested he laughed and challenged me to file a complaint with corporate and made me leave, ive already filed the formal complaint but this guy is a perfect example of a small minded power hungry jerk...never shopping at Rite aid again

rite aid in Greensburg PA recently acquired the pharmacy I was a customer at, and I have tried to get a rx filled form this former store and cannot get through. I understand there is an employee shortage but if rite aid could not handle the extra customers than they should not have purchased hometown pharmacy or should have been prepare for the extra customers. they did a disservice to the customers of this pharmacy and should be ashamed of themselves for doing so. I need a BP refill. this is an important medication and if this is how I will be treated I will find elsewhere to go as I'm sure many others will.

Rite Aid Customer Service at #5855 store

I have been a loyal customer for Rite Aid for many, many years. I love your employees Terri and Trini from the pharmacy. I also get my prescriptions there. Lucy and Suzi from the front end are exceptional employees as well. That's what keeps me coming back.

I have been noticing that the evenings especially around 7-8pm, there hasn't been much help. I did talk with one new employee, I didn't get his name but a very nice young man. He was saying that the new hires come in early as well as both managers sometimes as early as 4am frequently. I have been there both early and evenings. On one particular evening at about 7:30pm, I did witness long lines and was told ice cream is being closed as early as 8pm. Can I ask why? If the store seems to have enough employees, especially 4 new hires, in the last 2-3 months. Why aren't these new hires available to work the evenings so there is enough coverage, especially to keep ice open later. Is this manager scheduling correctly? Doesn't seem like it. Thank you for your time.

Desired outcome: I would like better customer service please

Rite Aid Compliant against Pharmacist-Swamen

3950 Union Rd, Date: 2/12/2022, Time: 6:58pm

Professional conduct fail short on the above date. He displayed extremely rude and disrespectful behaviors, with an arrogant elevated tone that was also condescending. Behavior and attitudes of the Pharmacist must not be overlooked, dismissed, or tolerated. Emphasizing the importance of a pharmacist, is to maintain the professional tone and conduct the Pharmacy/Brand.

Desired outcome: RITE AID must provide the compassionate conduct by responsible people. Sick people, such as myself, must be treated with absolute dignity and respect. The tone of his voice quickly descended into an aggressive verbal explanation

Rite Aid pharmacy people rude and snobby. also very scary how much little knowledge possessed when allowed to work in the pharmacy

on Wednesday January 26th I visited your rite aid store in Delphos Ohio. I've already had multiple problems with this store and don't know why I keep giving them a chance but here we are. I purchased a bottle of Gaviscon on the way to possibly going to the hospital d/t my fiancé having such bad acid reflux he had been having a hard time swallowing. the bottle I had assumed would come with a dosing cup. it did not, so I went to the pharmacy window to ask for one. the girl that came to help me did not look too pleased. I said I don't need to pay for this back here, but I was wondering if I could please have a medication cup cause there's not one with the bottle. she said we don't have any. I said none at all. she said no and sighed. I said Well what about an oral syringe. she rolled her eyes and threw her arms down and turned around and yanked one out of a bag of them from behind her. then handed it to me and said Well here you go even though that's not going to help you because it's not the size you need. well, the size I needed was 2 tsp which is 10mls and the syringe she handed me was 10mls. how if she don't know what dose I'm looking for does she know what size I need. and she's in the pharmacy. I'm a nurse and never have I come at anyone like that. I greeted her with a smile, and she returned my greeting with annoyance and frustration. she was downright rude and very unknowledgeable. it frankly scares me that we have this caliber of person working in the pharmacy. does she act like this all the time? does she really not know how medications are dosed? I sure hope this person doesn't handle medications because I'd be worried that they would be wrong and possibly hurt or even kill someone. this person shouldn't even work a register let alone be able to handle medications. I already have a hard time using this rite aid d/t the rudeness I encounter most of the time but now I'm almost scared to.

Desired outcome: would like to see this person maybe stocking shelves or working a front counter register. she really has no business working in a pharmacy.
