Sir I was operated thrice at RG stone hospital, east of kailash New delhi on 24th December 2018 and 24th January 2019 and 11th March 2019, first and second time everything went smoothly but the third time at the time of discharge RG stone staff Sanjay and others misbehaved Harassed and tried to cheat me.I have an health insurance policy of Rs 2 lacs and had undergone cashless treatment at RG Stone Hospital first time bill was 54, 731 second time it was 43, 725 but the third time when I went for discharge RG stone employee Sanjay rudely reply that my insurance limit is exhausted and of the total bill of 47000 I have to deposit extra 17000 in cash then only I will be discharged I replied that my insurance cover is 2 lacs plus a bonus of 70000 how can it be exhausted and only RG Stone has taken benefit of policy to which he scolded and said that he don't know anything I have to deposit 17000 extra in cash or I will not be discharged then another guy sitting with Sanjay a tall guy said let me calculate the total amount of all three claims, he made false calculations and said that at my limit is exhausted and I have to deposit 17000 extra or we will not relieve you, I requested them to again check my bills and contact Insurance Company but they started making mockery of me in front of all and said that it's not their duty to contact insurance and the bill is ok you deposit extra 17000 then only you can leave I contacted the helpline number that guy Moin who appears to be friendly but is a wolf in sheep"s clothes and ask for some time to look into issue.
In the meantime Sanjay and his accomplices pressurised me to deposit cash by making all sorts of threats I called insurance company and enquired about my issue they said that the matter will be sorted out in 45 minutes I waited for 2 hours then again call insurance company to which they replied that they had Allowed full cashless claim amount and sent an approval to RG Stone more than a hour ago, the TPA staff Sanjay had not informed me that approval had come and kept me waiting for hours after surgery for discharge when again I asked for discharge he said in a rude and uncourteous tone that I have to pay cash Rs 3478 because of some consumables I said that I did not ask for any consumables nor was given description of items Sanjay"s accomplice the tall guy who appears to be his muscle man said that now it's enough you pay rupees 3478 or we will extract it from you I again called helpline number this time the guy changed colours and said that I have to pay cash amount and its mandatory I said that this is my fifth visit to RG stone hospital and I came from Prayagraj for good treatment not to be extracted every Penny of mine he said that he cannot do anything then having no other way I deposited extra cash 3478 to save myself from clutches of Sanjay and accomplices and left immediately from RG Stone fearing further insult. I have been never have insulted so much in my life that too by an hospital staff, I have paid all bills but RG stone employees tried to cheat me by extracting extra amount, misbehaved and harassed me by holding me after surgery.
