Fraudulent Vacation site for students. They sell you terrible resort packages with terrible reviews then when you ask for a refund they keep most of your $$$. Tried to cancel only days after booking and they refused to refund full amount. Who would want to send their college student to a sketchy resort in Mexico. Be AWARE parents!!! Scam!!

STS Travel Vacation Package

DON’T Use STS, EVER! It’s a SCAM!

We booked a spring break trip to Cancun using STS Travel and I could not have been more disappointed with a travel agency in my life. Their lack of competency was unbelievable and if I could have done it over I would have just planned my own trip. It would have been cheaper, easier and less stressful to do it myself. From my understanding, a travel agency’s job is to plan a trip and make it easy and stress free, as well as providing customer service at a reasonable price. STS did none of theses things. From day one STS screwed us. We paid an exorbitant amount of money for an all inclusive, 5 nights 6 day trip. 2 of our 6 days were spent traveling for 12 hours when we could have taken a 4 hour direct flight. The first day we did not get into Cancun until 9 pm, giving us no day and a half a night. The check-in process at the hotel was an absolute disaster and we were promised expedited check-in (a lie). We got there and had to pay an undisclosed $30 insurance fee per person. We were promised VIP access to clubs to beat the lines with VIP table service (a lie). However, what I thought was the biggest offense was how much we paid for an “all inclusive” that was also a lie. When trying to eat at some of the restaurants on the resort we were turned away because apparently our bracelets were not good there. I am pretty sure all inclusive means you can eat anywhere, not disclosed ever. Had I known that I never would have gone because we were stuck eating at the worst places on the resort. The last day we were there, and I use the word day lightly, we were picked up 3 hours before our flight at 6:45 am to travel for another 12 hours. All in all, we paid a crazy amount of money to use a travel company that screwed us out of 2 days, half a night, customer service and many other promised things. Not to mention the hidden fees everywhere we went. If I could give negative stars for a company, I would. If you use this company after reading this god bless. To sum it all up, STS lies, they take advantage of college students simply looking for an easy break and should be forced out of business.

STS Travel selling Fraudulent vacation club memberships

STS travel also known as Sea to Ski is selling memberships to Tradewinds Vacations which is a fraudulent vacation club scam.STS owners name is Stephen Wunder who resides in Colorado who used to own M&H acquisitions which is now closed due to numerous complaints of advertising/sales issues and problems with products and services. Sales presentations are done in Las Vegas. Texas Attorney General found Tradewinds owners previous company - Royal Palms and All Inclusive Excursions were falsely promising steep discounts on travel that was sold through shell companies and that they had been found to have unlawfully misled customers and relied on improper sales tactics to sell travel club memberships that actually had little or no value whatsoever. Their is no STS travel listed with Colorado Secretary of State - only STS Acquisitions which would lead you back to M&H Acquisitions and more fraud. More scams using different company names but same players.
