I bought a car from Mark in May, the biggest regret was I wished I'd listened to the bad reviews! He will give promise everything until he has your money which is when he will not care. However, I took precautions which I'm so glad I did. Firstly I arranged an independent inspection of the car which hi-lighted several issues including an exhaust blowing, missing wheel bolts, pitted & worn brake disks, damaged tyre etc all agreed by Mark to repair, incl a full mot, service and written on the deposit receipt and agreement of sale, so in good faith I paid £400 deposit by credit card. The following week, mark rang to say he'd had to do the rear brake disks and the rest had been repaired. So to ensure I had it in writing I made sure he confirmed by email. This is where the lies began - oh and before mark you try to reply by blaming incompetent driving, slander or anything else - remember I have the evidence to back this up in court!
On delivery of the car, it was obvious the exhaust was still blowing and hadn't been repaired. It was then noticed that the wheel bolts were still missing - an automatic fail for an MOT. So within 5 days I put it through another MOT which it failed and I was advised the exhaust hadn't been repaired and the front brake disks were an advisory which hadn't been repaired as agreed also. After ringing the MOT centre I questioned them on how he passed the vehicle with missing wheel bolts, he hung up! I rang Mark and insisted on a full refund straight away he refused - we recorded this conversation as evidence. Mark refused all further correspondence from me. The MOT centre & Rawdon Motors were both immediately reported to trading standards. Getting no where we pursued Rawdon under section 75 by my credit card company who have covered the £1240.69 costs in order to cover all the repairs and meet the legal requirements of our agreement for the sale of the car. However I would of gone to small claims court as I do not let myself be bullied by liars. Rawdon will now be pursued by them to recover these costs. So yes we covered ourselves for every eventually should the reviews be correct - which they were!
So save yourself the hassle and go to a dealership who honours his word and sticks to the legal requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on either. He fraudulently sold me a vehicle, lied and refused me my legal rights - do you really want to buy a car from this man?

Purchased a car from Rawdon Motors, 3 weeks later the engine failed. I had the car recovered to my nearest dealer to have a quick look at the situation, whilst it was being checked I called Rawdon Motors and explained the situation. They wanted nothing to do with it and gave me nothing but abuse over the phone. I called Citizens Advice who have pointed me in the right direction as to what i am entitled to.
After numerous calls Rawdon Motors then told me to arrange recovery to their garage, so I did but then got no response wouldn't answer phone calls at all. I had my local dealer then do a detailed strip down of the engine only to find missing parts, bodged parts and non genuine parts, they took photographs and did a detailed survey for me, which I then posted to Rawdon Motors with my rights as a customer and what their options were and also what legal action I can take if they fail to respond. Still had no response so I'm forced to take further action.
They obviously knew the car wasn't fit for purpose and don't want to accept liability, my advice to anyone checking this garage out is please avoid! I have had to pay for a complete new engine costing me over £2500
Don't get ripped off by this company!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL TIMES THE WORST CAR DEALER IN THE UK
I purchased the Porsche Cayenne for £42000.00 December 2020, the car was delivered on a transporter and not by a driver, I did think that this was very unusual at the time but the owner of the garage, said it was due to Covid Restrictions, which I did accept at the time, but I do know now why this car was delivered on a transporter it was because the car would have not made it this far as I was to find out to my expense, the car was not fit for purpose. There was so much wrong with the car there is not enough room on this page to explain it all. It cost me a further £8000.00 to try and get my money back by issuing court proceedings, making a total of £50000.00, in the end we decided to settle out of court just to levitate incurring further cost for the sum of £45000.00, making my total loss on this car £3000.00. The Porsche is now back up for sale in his showroom for the sum of £45995.00 all I can say is leave well alone and the garage as this has been a very costly experience.
