PDL Ventures reviews and complaints
Scam
A man called saying I owed for a loan with PDL Ventures from July of 2009. I hadn't taken out any such loan. He told me it was from a bank that I hadn't used in 6 yrs from a town that I hadn't lived in for 5 yrs. He basicly threatened me with jail. And offered to set up payments so I don't. Watch out for these people. They try to scam you and each time one of them calls the amount of the so-called loan is higher.

I've had the same experience. Getting harassing calls, saying I owe $600 for a loan taken out in 2013, supposedly deposited into an account that I haven't used in almost a decade. They get very hateful, yelling at you and talking over you. They were adament about me setting up payment arrangements. When I told them I would contact the bank first to make sure the money was actually deposited, they responded with crazy questions like "how can you see if the account is already closed?" "Will you even be able to see who made the deposit?" "How would the bank still have that information?" They even asked if I was on probation because if I was, they were going to contact my Parole Officer. When I told them I wasn't comfortable giving all that information, they threatened me and said they can find out anyway. So, I told them to go ahead and find out. That's when their tone changed and they kept asking me for information that has NOTHING to do with debt collection.
I did NOT take a loan out in 2013 like they claim. They are scam artists. They even said "We're not trying to scam you." Like, really?!
I had a call just like that today But Shawn couldn't give me a number said they were going to place a lien on property
