Old ElPaso reviews and complaints
Hard and soft taco dinner kit
I purchased this product on 1/24/2023 and the expiration date on the package is 7/12/2023. When I opened the box I noticed black specs in the hard taco shells. Purchased Old Elpaso Taco Dinner Kit that included 12 Yellow Corn Taco Shells, Mild Taco Sauce and Seasoning Mix. All 12 Taco Shells were broken. This is not the first time... it seems to happen quite often. I've thrown away at least 3-4 boxes and have had to repurchase. It is a bit of inconvience to prepare dinner and sit down to eat and find the product is not what you expected. Purchased December 5, 2009 UPC #[protected]

I have just recently purchased Old ElPaso's Hard and Soft Taco Dinner Kit and all but one taco was broken. This is not the first time and not at the same store. I thought the first time just to disregard it but it's happened more than once and at different store locations. If you are just trying to make dinner when you get home from work and really can't go back out to the store once you find out they are broken then it because an inconvenience and an expense.
If the problem isn't with you (and as the previous commenter said, it could be) - then it's the responsibility of the store. You should take the pack back to them if they keep selling broken goods. And shop somewhere else. It's not an issue with the brand, it's the store that you should be naming.
