Newpronet/Libertytoner.com Defective Product/BAD SERVICE

Got a defective cartridge, called, got RMA and requested a replacement. "IF you wish to purchase another toner, we'll send it out." I Packed it in the SAME PACKING AS SENT TO ME. [It had begun leaking ALL OVER!] No word from Co. after couple of weeks. "We'll call you back."

I called a couple of months later. "It is still on the workbench." Huh?

After more than 4 months, I called them back AGAIN and was told I had NOT packed the cartridge properly and I had used the cartridge [my Xerox wouldn't even work with the cartridge in it: "Remove strip from toner cartridge..."]. Was informed they would not replace the cartridge and that I would be issued a $34. credit. There was NO WAY to challenge their claims to the contrary and get a replacement. If my machine wouldn't work with the thing in it, how the FLIP could I have used it? If it was packed incorrectly, then why did they send it to me in that manner?

I WON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

al_3745 sounds like a shil for the company. for his comments, since the previous post/complaint is almost exactly the same (non-)response from Newpronet/LibertyToner. What is the solution he proposes if we DO as instructed and are stymied and stonewalled when a replacement is warranted?

Newpronet/Libertytoner.com Defective toner cart.

I ordered a toner cartage and when it arrived most of the toner had managed to come out of the cartridge, and end up all over the inside of the box and all over my clothing when one opened the box. Toner does not come out of clothing easy.

When I called them I was told that the would ship out the new one but they did not replace defective cartridge, and if they sent one out to me I would have to pay the return postage on a defective cartridge, or they would charge my credit card for the second one sent out. They do not give out credits on postage ever, I was told.

The toner does not even work right, it is so light I was ripped off, and they have the poorest and nasty attitudes for customer service I have ever heard of in my life.

Ok whoever buys from them is a ###, as I was one of them. We received the toners all spilled out like you said, and pieces were broken. We returned them for a refund, and it took nearly 6 months and still no word on the return. Finally called back asking if they were ever going to return our call and they claim the package recieved from us were all broken during transit. When we specifically packaged it right back the same hour we opened it, and put it back the way we got them. They claimed it was our neglegence of poor packing that broke all the toners. Well, one, they were all broken upon arrival to begin with which then they said, that is not the point. Well, obviously it was the point, when we recieved them, they were falling apart already. So they get their product back and its in pieces, big surprise, and they put the blame on us. Now they are being very nasty and customer service tone has changed. They are a mom and pop's store that are crooks in my opinion. How are they even still in business?

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR JUST COMPLAINING. IT SEEMS LIKE IF YOU WOULD HAVE JUST RETURNED THE BAD ONE YOU WOULD HAVE HAD YOUR PROBLEM SOLVED.

all i've ever had was good experiences there, on one occasion i had a defect and it was replaced promptly. of course i had to return the defective one but once it was received, PROPERLY packed, as stated on their return form, i was refunded the freight. on their return form it does specify to return the defective cartridge properly packaged, and negligent packing will void all warranties, not to much to ask to receive credit. the simple fact that you did not receive credit would suggest you didn't read the form before you signed it. i will continue to business there, as they do stand behind their products.
