Lux Vacation Resorts A Lux Resorts Membership purchased for $9790.00 on 11/17/2021

11/17/2021 approx 3 pm. purchased membership for $9790.00. Because of Covid everything we tried to book we could not. An now I am a 77 year old 100% disabled veteran and my wife is 73 years old recuperating from kinee surgery with little success. We have no children or anyone who wants this membership. Would like to get back asmuch as we can of this membership.

We understand that LUX could not control issues of Covid but they could not and did not provide the services that they agreed to.

Lux Vacation Resorts Membership

I was given 5 weeks of free stays when I signed up and 5 after that for each year I renewed each years and tried to get my free weeks but since they transferred to smartergetaways.com they have said those have disappeared. This is theft because I have document and witnesses that they gave it to me. I tried to cancel the membership renewal but said I COULD NOT. They even offered me 5 free weeks to knew what a scam. I will file a small claim against them this month.

during the sales pitched they said they guaranteed the lowest price. This is not true. Usually a few dollars difference. Again they would not let me book any free stays

Desired outcome: Refund all monies or give me my 5 free weeks per year

My spouse and I attended a seminar held by Lux Vacation Resorts on June 22, 2022 at the Marriott in Providence, RI. As an incentive for attending the seminar we were supposed to receive two round trip airline tickets, 3 days and 2 nights hotel, and a car rental. To date we have not received our incentive.
