Equinox fitness Clubs Misleading Marketing

The "Tourist Trap" of Fitness...
Misleading professionalism, the entire company is based on Marketing & pushing the employee & member to its spending limits, while the "heads in Corporate" sit back with secure jobs.
The company has no regard for "the member experience, " nor "the employee experience." They believe in "TAKING" from employees & members, then trashing them out the door. Most of the current trainers & instructors are former members or interns, that are marketed as "professionals, " with no experience.
The company use to have a reputable standing until it was sold to Related Companies & lead by a CEO with a negative past history. The Regional GFM for Long Island & GFM/Roslyn have destroyed all that was once "professional" within these clubs, all due to "egotism, " that this company has allowed to happen.
Prices are too high for inexperienced people & mgrs. with horrible past histories. All the "professionals" that made Equinox Something are all at surrounding clubs with less expectations & lower costs to the member & non-member.
Worst company to work for in the fitness business, & no quality for the price they are charging + every year a guaranteed $10. increase.

Credit Card either on file or used within the club facilities are being used by employees. Extensive amounts of wrongful charges have occured throughout locations. The company is not a stable company. The last 10 months an unbelievable amount of wrongful firings have occured. Corporate/NYC does not reach out to members complaints, nor do they correct the CC...

I'm a former Pilates Manager for 2 Equinox Clubs/4 yrs. In the last 7 months EQ has made a huge change of management, creating a new position for Kristin Gagne, the current GFM in Woodbury, they made her a regional. With this, Kristin has used her position to fire all of the old/original staff that made/makes the 3 clubs successful. I was shocked when my...
