This company is fantastic! I can scarcely express my gratitude. My hard disk recently crashed during the pandemic and was badly damaged. I thought I had lost four years of work on a book, and was frantic. But ReStoring Data recovered all the missing files in just days. It seemed like a miracle. Thank you ReStoring Data!

Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have the data, from 11 years of my life, restored from a severely degraded hard drive (over 11GB ). Thus, the thousands of colleagues and students around the world who regularly access this material were again able to do so in a week. These people are knowledgeable, reliable, effective, and quick!

You are given a casemanager upon process and given a choice, as well, for the decision of the kind of service and speed of process you would like. The work ReStore Data does to tell you, in return, how much the job will cost is free! The job is well done and the team is efficient, caring, and best of all, it is all worth it in the end, since, in my case anyhow, all the desired data was 100% recovered and restored!

I was really panicked as my hard drive fell on the floor and the worst my laptop fell over it. My hard drive stopped working and my crucial data got lost. A big thanks to ReStoring Data for recovering my data from my failed hard drive. The service was quick and I got back my data safely. Not enough words to say thank you ReStoring Data team! Amazing service. They respond to every request quickly and efficiently. I always knew where they were in the process. They managed my expectations well by explaining every step and possible outcomes. They saved almost 1TB of pictures (tax returns and cherished geneology information). I can honestly say I would still have been impressed with this company even if they were not able to recover anything; but I am extreeeeemely thankful they were able to :)

From the first exchange with Laura at the front desk, to the call conversations, the customer service has been one of the best I have experienced. Then when it comes to the service per se, the result was beyond my expectations. We had an external drive fall off a table and hit the floor while in operation. Instantly the drive was useless. The drive contained over a years worth of modelling shoots, video footage (1.5TB). After assessing the drive and giving an estimate they were able to retrieve everything and even when they required more effort and time due to excessive corruption they honoured their estimate. I have another drive that failed and I have been reluctant to entrust it to anyone. I will be sending it in shortly. Thanks for your efforts!

I was very impressed with ReStoring Data from the minute I arrived in their office. A hard drive failure is a stressful situation and the people at ReStoring Data were sensitive and professional from the beginning. They were confident but also didn't over-promise. The work was done on a timely basis and it was completely successful in the end. The timeline was clearly specified and there were no delays. Communication was great and the price was competitive and fair. Frankly, I hope I never require the service again but if I do, I wouldn't consider anyone else for data recovery work.

Highly recommended. Good service. Quickly and fully responded to emails and phone messages. Although they warned me full recovery might not be possible, they were able to do a full recovery -- now I know the warning signs of a failing SSD drive! I live in [location] and Restore Data is in Vancouver which added a couple of days delay both ways. Greatly appreciate that shipping was included in fees. 'No data - no fee' is a great policy -- very reassuring. A small point -- they missed their original time commitment by a couple of days -- probably satisfying a business customer -- not a great inconvenience for me as I'm not a business).

We recently had need to get help retrieving data that was saved on our external hard drive. I used a different service once before and it was a difficult, awkward and costly experience. Our new computer service outlet recommended we contact "ReStoring Data" and am I glad we did. From the first communication we shared to the final check-in once our entire hard drive was salvaged, restored and returned, what we experienced was nothing but top shelf. Laura, our case manager, maintained regular communication in a professional, thoughtful, and timely manner. She answered our questions, was honest and upfront, and was a true 'customer service specialist'. From start to finish, a class act. Heaven forbid, we need to go through the process of salvaging a hard drive again, there is only one place we will call.

Excellent and professional service and a BC company that is easily accessible (not to mention a mail drop off center in Langley). As a slightly older individual it is really appreciated to speak immediately with another human instead of a computerized voice. Ilana was very helpful and understanding of the situation yet did not make false promises just for the sake of obtaining a customer. She guided me through the process and let me know all the options once the data was restored which thankfully was all of it. Many thanks to all the staff at Restoring Data and continued success into the future. I will definitely recommend them to friends and colleagues with any data recovery issues. PS. I also appreciate the brochure they left with my regular computer repair company which was simple yet effective in putting me in touch with Restoring Data in the first place.
