I have a credit card that I wasnt able to pay on time, I called customer service ASAP as soon as a I have the cash to pay for it and asked them how much do I have to pay for it to be reinstated, customer service told me that a minimum payment of 3000 will do, I paid the said amount and then called them again the following day. I was surprised because now they're telling me that the account was forwarded to collections department and I have to pay the whole amount. What a waste. I told them I just paid the minimum amount due and how come I wasnt informed that its gonna be forwarded to Collections. I didnt get any notice from collections. Customer service doesnt know what to do and just referred me to collections. I called collections about the problem and they said I have to pay the whole amount right away or else Im gonne be BLACKLISTED. WTF! so this is how RCBC works, they aint gonna inform u about whats happening on your acct and then 1 day you'll realize your in a pinch.

i have the same issue. I was not successful inpaying my bills ontime, you know people get their very bad year and that was mine. Got billed for 13k n called rcbc to send my bills @ my home address so someone will arrange my @ home n got nothing. I emailed them, still no bills were sent. Months passed n bill reached to 17k due to late pay n nterests, got a text from a collector that i have to pay 19k. I asked myself, y 19k?hmmm i cheked my OL statement, there I found out that it was only 17+++.++. Since I already got the money the day the collector asked for payment, i then paid 17, +++ directly to rcbc. Payment reflected the day after. Come may15 billing, the pay reflected but THERE was a late fee.. Hmmm. Its ok, whats 200++ compare to 17-, ryt? So i paid it using my savings account online. I tried to purchase a gift card online that costs 100php n u know what?! I got an error message that the card I am using is @ a high risk of fraud! Do u think a person receiving that kind of an error brightens dr day?! Greatness rcbc.. I paid in full. Though i had months of non payment I made sure I paid the full amount owed plus the interests. Your collector is not even honest intelling me the amount i owed. I emailed them to re-activate my card n another great news was received by me just today.

Collector:
We regret to inform you that no reactivation to your account as per our credit committee.

Me: any further explantion as i alredy paid you infull?

Collector: as per credit commitee

Me: is this the only explanation that u can give?

:::::i am just so upset taht i am thinking that they do not value every client that they have. They give more value to those people who owe them and pay the minimum amount so that they will get so much from the interests.

same with me ; i paid my bill on the 4th of may wasnt successful becoz they are offline and my due is on the 6th which is sunday but they will not open on sunday so i paid the bal on the 7th but until now theres is no payment landed on my account and yet my card was on hold. i email the complaints area twice attached with the receipt but until now i have no news; check my credit card today via online; theres a new statement of account and the balance still there with late payment fee plus interest and will due on june 15; i wonder if all credit cards are having the same issues?RCBC please be responsible; you should put customer first.

that's the same thing happened to me...I juz paid the minimum payment and a day after someone from their collections office called me and told me to pay the entire amount or else I'll be blacklisted...They don't want to have payment arrangement either and want me 2 juz pay the entire amount...Thanks for sharing...I won't pay them coz itz not sure f they will still activate my account... good thing i hav other credit cards:)

I really agree..No wonder they are giving their cards for some simple requirements..Now that I am cancelling my card, they said they cant because I have to pay some charges for that..I said I am not that stupid..I really dont believe in that company..They have the lamest and arrogant methods I ever saw..I hope everybody can read this..RCBC-BANKARD IS A NO-NO!

Yeah, they are hell of a mess... I paid my account since December 3 of 2011, they said upon complete payment my card will immediately be activated (Im talking directly to a collections officer) it has been more than a month now and I still cant use the card! Ikaw pa ang kailangan magpaulit ulit na tumawag sa kanila and pagpapasa pasahan ka! Pag maniningil magagaling magsipag tawag sayo..pag nakabayad ka na at ikaw na ang mangungulit na magpaactivate ng card na BINABAYARAN MO NAMAN e mga wala nang pakialam sayo!
