This company initiall charged me £29.95 without my knowing and as soon as I found out I cancelled my membership and also called my credit card company. The credit card company contacted them and confirmed my cancellation but the following two months another £29.95 twice was taken. I am now in the process of disputing these charges.
This company quickcreditscore.co.uk do not offer any service apart from scamming your credit card out of money. This is a rip off scam company and should be reported to the trading standards. None of their e-mails give you any responses back. Warning: do not have any dealings with this website or company

I took up a free membership with this company back in October 2011 to check my credit rating, but due to technical issues my report wouldn't appear! I therefore left it for a while then got caught up with the cares of life (as you do!) Next thing I know, it's January and I suddenly lose just shy of £20 from my top-up debit card! When I traced it back, I found QuickCreditScore were the culprits!

However, after sending them a strongly-worded email, they've acknowledged the cancellation of my membership, as well as a full refund! Just thought I'd let you guys know they ain't so bad -- the key is GOOD communication, not ranting and raving at them! ^_^

This is unfair and very painful. I even went to my bank natwest to try and stop these thieves but the second day another £19, 95 was taken out of my account. I was in tears beacuse I felt my bank can not even protect me and this was added as POS. Another version of rewardsnow was also taken out of my account, I felt rewardsnow is to give something but £19.95 was taken out.
Meanwhile, my bank details which has been suspended by natwest was used, where on earth did quickcredit got my details. I am taking both Natwest and quickcredit to court, beacuse they are both rogues.

I have today become aware of two debits of £19.95 from quickcreditscore.co.uk from my Barclayard, I complained to Barclaycard and they have informed me they will not stop any direct debits from this or any company that makes an authorised or un-authorised direct debit, by any merchant, from any cards they cover. Only the merchant can cancel these agreements whether bogus or not, should the bogus company not cancel then more debits will be deducted, also even if you cancel your cedit card, Barclaycard will still debit you closed account and pursue your dept with them them. The boot is on the wrong foot, the consumer should be able to cancel not the fraudsters.

Hi

I work with Adaptive Affinity Ltd which operates the Quick Credit score and I’d like to firstly apologise for your experiences to date.

I’ve read your post and just want to take a few seconds to reply.

As you mention in your post when you called our Customer Service team you were informed that more information was needed in order for us to verify your ID and allow you access to your credit report. A reminder letter was sent to you to follow up on this.

What I’m not clear about is if you cancelled your membership, either when you called in or when the reminder letter was sent to you? If you did cancel within the trail period and were still charged, then I can help you claim a full refund.

I look forward to your reply.

Kind Regards

Toni

i was using on-line banking when a pop up appeared offering a "free" credit check, since then 2 payments of £14.95 have been taken from my account. I dont remember agreeing to them taking any money from me or sighning up for member ship, in fact i know i didnt . surely this is theft and maybe the police should be informed, perhaps google or yahoo should ban this so called company from using the internet . lesson ! dont enter bank details unless your are certain of the provider and allways ignore pop ups

same story again. just checked my bank account on line and found a debit to quickcreditscore.co.uk. I immediately phoned the 0845 number (goodness knows how much THAT cost) just to find out what the company was. I then recalled the pop-up saying free credit check (i suppose stupidly put in my details) butn then nothing had happened and so i forgot about it until i checked my bank statement. Well needless to say I have emailed demanding cancellation of my "membership" and full refund within ten days before seeking compensation through the samll claims court ( http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/infoabout/claims/index.htm )

be advised though it may be difficult to get your money back as we live in an innocent until proven guilty court system, the duress is on us to prove that they have fraudulently taken our money.

good luck one and all

Same story happened to me too, they took 14.95 from my account one month ago, and I went to speak to Natwest bank, and the person there told me to ring this company and ask for refund. But they said I am a membership with them and they will charge me this amount every month, and I told him to cancel this rubbish membership for me which offers me no service at all, just stealing money from me. They advertised on some web says "free credit check" which is just a fraud to make u put all the bank details and they can take money from it. But you got now service at all. Any ways, they didn't give me refund, and I went back to the Natwest, they told me to contact"watch dog" . I feel cheated and annoyed by this scam company. I am going to ring them back to get the refund. Or maybe I really should contact "watch dog" . Otherwise, lots people will be stolem money by them. What if some people who doesn't check their account often, if they are too old, or disable? How do you think?

I can't believe that in 3 months this company have debited 14.95pds each from my account. I have called them to let them know that i sent them a mail to cancel my membership the same day which i got a reply to and asked for a refund. They said that they don't have the reply on their data and i won't be refinded. I am so furious and astonished because they are misleading and Scam. Its so annoying that i deleted their reply but i have the mail i sent to them because i am willing to sue them. I have just ordered my bank to stop them and if this repeats again, God help them.

Something needs to be done about this company.I have been scammed out of 100 pounds in total coming out of my account and when I complained to my bank LLoyds they basically told me it was my fault and I must phone Quickcreditscore and cancel .I initially from a pop up enquired about my credit rating and paid for it not realising it was actually a subscription service. What also points towards dishonesty is that you get absolutely no communication from this company once you enquire. This really needs to be investigated does anyone have the name of an agency that investigates this type of scam

Quickcreditscore is fraud company and it's frustrating that their victims has nowhere to seek for help. I just checked bank statement and noticed that a direct debit has been set up "quickcreditscore" without my knowledge and they have been taking 14.95bps from my account for more than 4 months. I called their office to complained and was told my name was not on their database that I should mail my card no to them. What worries me is how do they get my bank details as I have never had any transaction with them. Can anyone advice me on what to do to get back my money from "Quickcreditscore"?
