This company initiall charged me £29.95 without my knowing and as soon as I found out I cancelled my membership and also called my credit card company. The credit card company contacted them and confirmed my cancellation but the following two months another £29.95 twice was taken. I am now in the process of disputing these charges.
This company quickcreditscore.co.uk do not offer any service apart from scamming your credit card out of money. This is a rip off scam company and should be reported to the trading standards. None of their e-mails give you any responses back. Warning: do not have any dealings with this website or company

Same story happened to me too, they took 14.95 from my account one month ago, and I went to speak to Natwest bank, and the person there told me to ring this company and ask for refund. But they said I am a membership with them and they will charge me this amount every month, and I told him to cancel this rubbish membership for me which offers me no service at all, just stealing money from me. They advertised on some web says "free credit check" which is just a fraud to make u put all the bank details and they can take money from it. But you got now service at all. Any ways, they didn't give me refund, and I went back to the Natwest, they told me to contact"watch dog" . I feel cheated and annoyed by this scam company. I am going to ring them back to get the refund. Or maybe I really should contact "watch dog" . Otherwise, lots people will be stolem money by them. What if some people who doesn't check their account often, if they are too old, or disable? How do you think?

same story again. just checked my bank account on line and found a debit to quickcreditscore.co.uk. I immediately phoned the 0845 number (goodness knows how much THAT cost) just to find out what the company was. I then recalled the pop-up saying free credit check (i suppose stupidly put in my details) butn then nothing had happened and so i forgot about it until i checked my bank statement. Well needless to say I have emailed demanding cancellation of my "membership" and full refund within ten days before seeking compensation through the samll claims court ( http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/infoabout/claims/index.htm )

be advised though it may be difficult to get your money back as we live in an innocent until proven guilty court system, the duress is on us to prove that they have fraudulently taken our money.

good luck one and all

i was using on-line banking when a pop up appeared offering a "free" credit check, since then 2 payments of £14.95 have been taken from my account. I dont remember agreeing to them taking any money from me or sighning up for member ship, in fact i know i didnt . surely this is theft and maybe the police should be informed, perhaps google or yahoo should ban this so called company from using the internet . lesson ! dont enter bank details unless your are certain of the provider and allways ignore pop ups

My situation with this company are as follows: Total payment of £44.85, of 3 payments of £14.95 for a credit report I couldn't gain access to. Several cancellation emails to their website email address, have resulted in the following response:

contact@quickcreditscore.co.uk
to me

--------------------------------
[Insert your auto response here]
--------------------------------

I haven't yet been stung by the rewards program of £19.95, however, I have looked in to some key legislation, and some key points of call to which people may be able to hold this business accountable to unlawful operating practices under several EU directives, and UK legislation, such as the Trade Descriptions Act, and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.

You, firstly, will need to make a formal submission to Consumer Direct. Website being: https://secure.consumerdirect.gov.uk/reportascam.aspx

Also, another point of call, is lodging complaints with the Financial Services Authority by calling: [protected]

Signing up to a credit report, is certainly misleading when you are lead to the following companies, and subsequent payments to them:

Registered Name Adaptive Affinity Limited 12/10/2009
Trading Name Biz Maxx Gold 08/06/2010
Trading Name Credit Confidential 08/06/2010
Trading Name Credit Rate Matters 08/06/2010
Trading Name High Credit Score 08/06/2010
Trading Name Premier Club 08/06/2010
Trading Name Privacy Counts 08/06/2010
Trading Name Quick Credit Score 08/06/2010
Trading Name Reset Credit Score 08/06/2010
Trading Name Rewards First 08/06/2010
Trading Name Rewards Now 08/06/2010
Trading Name VP Rewards 08/06/2010

Definately think some kind of action will result against this company, but we need strength in numbers. So lets all get on it guys.

I will like to use this request that £14.95 be refunded to my account and I will like to cancel my subscription, if there is any.

This is a con site. Pretends to be www.callcredit.co.uk offering free limited time Callcredit Credit Score and Credit Report and Quick Credit Score account. Takes your credit card details and charges an initial £0.10. Got wise and cancelled more or less straight away but had to cancel credit card which is a pain. Linked to www.rewardsnow.co.uk which is another scam. Informed callcredit.co.uk but low interest as e-mail says a reply will be forthcoming in about 28 days! You cannot link to the site or get through on the telephone to cancel! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I put my details in, stupidly yes I know! thinking I would then see my credit report?! and could correct items I needed to...however I had to ring them to get my membership no/ which i couldn't login with, as there is no where on site to login without reregistering! hence more payment and card details needed! when I recieved a letter from them saying they did not have enough info on me I thought that was it. They couldn't provide a report for me. BUT 14.95 was taken from my account- even tho they didn't provide the report. They claim when i rang that they needed more info. ie a bank statement/credit card statement/driving licence etc.. to verify me. well if the report is able to be seen for free within the 10 days and you also have to send in more info via post or fax? i guess if you have it. then wellgood luck in being able to get to see yourreport for free! The only other place I have got a report from was Experian and paid 2.00. It was sent no hassle about a month later. sorted so go there if you need one. Which iswhere I should've gone last time! serves me right for trying to save a few pounds! Go to where u know is trusted and safe! use ur internet wisely guys!

Hi

I work with Adaptive Affinity Ltd which operates the Quick Credit score and I’d like to firstly apologise for your experiences to date.

I’ve read your post and just want to take a few seconds to reply.

As you mention in your post when you called our Customer Service team you were informed that more information was needed in order for us to verify your ID and allow you access to your credit report. A reminder letter was sent to you to follow up on this.

What I’m not clear about is if you cancelled your membership, either when you called in or when the reminder letter was sent to you? If you did cancel within the trail period and were still charged, then I can help you claim a full refund.

I look forward to your reply.

Kind Regards

Toni

I have today become aware of two debits of £19.95 from quickcreditscore.co.uk from my Barclayard, I complained to Barclaycard and they have informed me they will not stop any direct debits from this or any company that makes an authorised or un-authorised direct debit, by any merchant, from any cards they cover. Only the merchant can cancel these agreements whether bogus or not, should the bogus company not cancel then more debits will be deducted, also even if you cancel your cedit card, Barclaycard will still debit you closed account and pursue your dept with them them. The boot is on the wrong foot, the consumer should be able to cancel not the fraudsters.

This is unfair and very painful. I even went to my bank natwest to try and stop these thieves but the second day another £19, 95 was taken out of my account. I was in tears beacuse I felt my bank can not even protect me and this was added as POS. Another version of rewardsnow was also taken out of my account, I felt rewardsnow is to give something but £19.95 was taken out.
Meanwhile, my bank details which has been suspended by natwest was used, where on earth did quickcredit got my details. I am taking both Natwest and quickcredit to court, beacuse they are both rogues.

i went on this site for the advertised free credit score. it said i had so many days in which to cancel to avoid future monthly charges. i have been unable to do this, as the site wont accept my number and postcode to log in, an d when i phone the given phone number it gives a continuous dialling tone suggesting it is out of use. i have already had 1 lot of £19.95 taken from my bank and the next is 'due' next week. what do i do?

I took up a free membership with this company back in October 2011 to check my credit rating, but due to technical issues my report wouldn't appear! I therefore left it for a while then got caught up with the cares of life (as you do!) Next thing I know, it's January and I suddenly lose just shy of £20 from my top-up debit card! When I traced it back, I found QuickCreditScore were the culprits!

However, after sending them a strongly-worded email, they've acknowledged the cancellation of my membership, as well as a full refund! Just thought I'd let you guys know they ain't so bad -- the key is GOOD communication, not ranting and raving at them! ^_^

I have had £19.95 taken out of my account for the last 4 months without permission. This is money that was taken from my esa. I have spoken to my bank and they said to get in touch with this company. I want all that money refunded NOW or i will take this matter higher. Stupid credit score companies think they can rip people off by telling them its free to check your credit score then take money out of your account without permission. I will take this matter to the polise. media, courts etc. etc if i have to and get this useless company to refund every customer they have ripped off and get them shut down
