8/23/2023 I spoke w/PURE TALK. Decided after agent discussion that I would order a promotional cell phone (SAMSUNG A23 5G) and $35/mo. unlimited talk/text/data cell plan. I was assured NO charges would be made to my CREDIT CARD until service was established with the NEW phone they would be sending. NO contract was ever sent to me via email as promised, my CARD was charged immediately for nearly $50. Phone arrive 8/29/23, service established. On 9/15/23 the phone failed to charge. I called PURE TALK and was told too bad, your 14 day satisfaction warranty has ENDED> "You had 14 days to return the phone to PURE TALK. You can call SAMSUNG," I then called SAMSUNG and was told PURE TALK lied, I had a minimum of 30 days to examine phone/service, but based on non-charging status SAMSUNG directed me to their authorized repair center 50 miles from my home 9/16/23. THEIR agent could not fix issue and wanted to keep my cell phone a minimum of 3-5 business days. UNACCEPTABLE as I NEED a working cell phone. I called SAMSUNG and "Arnel" stated I had to deal with PURE TALK and to tell them SAMSUNG said they were responsible for sending me a new phone. I did so. Spoke with "Arthur" who refused to send a working cell phone, lied and never opened a case despite stating he would. (I learned this on 9/18/23 after 4+ calls to PURE TALK. They have sent me a faulty phone and have access to my credit card to continue bogus monthly charges. I do NOT have buyer's remorse, I simply want a WORKING phone as promised. On 9/19/23 PURE TALK finally sent via email the supposed copy of the "original" 36 month contract. I was provided by LUIS in TEXAS a "one-time credit" of $15 (not showing on my credit card to date!) for my phone issue.
