On August 14th I drove twenty miles, I drove twenty miles to get an item that was advertised all over the store as coming out on the 14th to go with the Madden video game release. When we got there we asked the manager on duty where this item was and he said he had no idea what I was talking about. I told him it is advertised all over the store and he told me it doesnt come out until sunday(but he doesnt know what I am talking about) I then told him that the sign says the 14th and he told me I dont know what to tell you. I was aggravated but walked away. while we were shopping for other things a couple of employees that we around walked up to me and apologized for the rudeness of this manager. I appreciate these employees but now it is apparent others noticed how rude he was so I left. Got home and my wife called the store to tell them and talked to a different manager(said the store manager) told him what happened he appologized and said he has our item and he has it on his desk. So we drove twenty miles again got to the store and that manager was gone but another assistant said they have our item brought it out and it was wrong team, told them that and they said that was the only team they got(not even a close team) and I told them and showed the sign doesnt say only certain teams in certain stores but even if it did all the pictures and signs show the team I want. So we went home again so far we have driven eighty miles called 1800 walmart and complained. Was told we were right! and that someone would call us that evening that was 3 days ago and NOW no one even has a record of any of this with me. Right now I could care less about the item but I feel that manager that was rude should appologize to me in public since he wanted to embaress me in front of people.
The Council Bluffs Post Office is famous for this. We had a similar situation with this post office. Dont know which apts. you had to deal with but our was Valley View Estates

We had a similiar problem with sears when we purchased new appliances for a home we just purchased. It was not a card but we were due a rebate/reimbursement of our delivery charges. Why they didnt just offer free delivery was beyond me but maybe their mess ups are how they make more money. So we sent in our forms and waited for our $79. We bought the house in Nov. of 08 and in March of 09 I felt I had given enough time so I contacted the store in Council Bluffs, IA and got MAJOR runaround. I got angry and told them to come get their stuff and the manager I talked to said ok but I wouldnt get all my money back because there is a restocking fee. I then asked for a corporate number and the manager gave me a number for online sales(?) and they didnt know what was going on so they transferred me. When someone finally picked up I was transferred to a store in Texas (?) who obviously didnt know what was going on and they hung up. I then Googled Sears Corporate numbers had to play phone tag a few times but they eventually got me to someone that could help. Since i had my receipts they were able to look up what I was sayingand knew I was telling the truth about my rebate. I was also offered the following explanation that may be helpful to others with rebate issues. I was told the reason I had not gotten my rebate was because the next day the store, Council Bluffs, had cancelled the transaction even though I had purchased. When I asked how that was possible I was told it is common for stores to cancel rebates and offer prepaid charge cards instead. I said this was unacceptable and if stores are doing this and corporate knows it then they as a company are being crooked. At which point I was offered 2 $250 sears/kmart gift cards because of all the problems I went through according to them. According to me it was to shut me up. Anyways I took the gift cards and combined them and bought a snow blower.

My suggestion to all is do a search for corporate of sears contact them and remember "the squeaky wheel gets the grease".
Which Wal-mart? Walmart check policy is if the check does not go through electronically they still take the check as it was done before the electronic system. The only reason not to accept the check is if there is a returned check that you have not paid or if your account has been flagged for fraud. You can bounce many checks and as long as you take care of it then you are fine to write others. I know this for fact(as all manager and csm's do) and I would really like to know which store and manager did this to you.
The AFL filed bankruptcy and folded there are no AFL games unless you are talking AFL2.
Yes I filed a report with both paypal and ebay. What I was told was that to be a power seller a seller has to have a higher than 98% positive feedback yet this seller is at only 97.3%as of 5 minutes ago, it has dropped more since I posted on this site, with 38 negative feedbacks in the last month. I dont know if I can give his user name so I wont. But I will say look up Jason Witten jersey 4xl and everyone can see what I am talking about.
I posted a very similar complaint earlier today before I even read this complaint. Mine was not software but was fake merchandise and from overseas with very similar results from paypal. My complaint is listed under Paypal/Ebay and was posted 9-15-09.
LOL I havent gotten one from capital one however one day I got a letter from hyvee grocery store and on the letter it said I bounced a check for $0.00 so I have to pay the bad check fee of $30 for a total balance of $30.00 I called the company and the did not know what I was talking about so they said it must be a computer error, dont worry about it. I have never shopped nor do I know what a hyvee is yet they have my info. Long story short tell your friend to be careful of someone using his identity and not call number given on letter but find another phone number to capitol one to verify the letter.
Just so you know Wal mart and Kmart and Sears and Sams Club etc... Have same policy if car is there even over night it gets towed 30 HOURS? I am surprised you are complaining about that what did you expect them to do they cant even clean the parking lot.

The exact same thing happened to us last year however when I said we are going to cancel our service they threatened the $400 fee and I said fine shut it off and I got transfered to the retention department. When I explained what had happened I was told this happens all the time, and they immediately fixed the problem and gave me an extra credit on my bill for the confusion and my time so I agreed to stay.
This year we noticed our bill was higher and we were being charged for Superfan as well as Sunday ticket. Called to complain that we were not even asked if we wanted this and our Sunday ticket was reduced slightly and we were given the Superfan for free.
As for Espn classic directv just dropped it in the last couple of weeks, I am not sure when exactly because we dont watch it enough when football season starts, and it is still listed on the directv website as being part of our programming even though they dropped it but they added espnu and cbsc to the regular programming which I as a football fan feel this is a fair trade off.
On our antenna we can get local channels out of sioux city and des moines and on good days omaha so we have at least 15 free channels but despite this I like my directv and the choices for entertainment and I do feel directv is getting better at giving its subscribers what they want. The majority of their problem seems to be at their lowest levels such as subcontractors that fill out paperwork wrong or misinform the customers. The other problem is the peoplethat answer the phone they usually have a problem speaking english and so make mistakes on their end on the computer. I have learned to go straight to retention dept when I call explain the situation and it gets resolved and because of that like i said I am very happy with directv.
Hope this helps some if not leave another post and I will leave my email to explain in further detail because except for you all being Viking fans, I am a Cowboy fan, your issues and mine were very similar and I want to share my experience

I agree NonnieMouse Why would police be called. I read this as was laughing so hard at just how ridiculous this was for McDonalds to do that.

Another funny/sad part is that apparently McDonalds called the police because the cashier "feared for her life" because these kids rapped their order.

What is this world coming to? LOL

I did not understand what the police did after you were taken to the back and searched. If you shoplifted something and it was proven the would have either arrested you or at least given a citation.

If none of that happened then I can assure you that you have a right for a lawsuit and as ronald usarmy said call home office and watch them kiss your behind after the right person finds out.

Definitely file a lawsuit, as a former employee I know that if it was a bad bust the loss prevention agent will lose her job but if nobody tells home office they do not know about it . Do you think she is going to tell them? LOL I dont think so.

Also talk to someone in charge at police station and maybe at minimum there is a report, excellent for a lawsuit.

Be happy your not in the states. fast food restaurants call the police on kids just rapping theyre order like at mcdonalds imagine what they might do to someone complaining about how slow service is maybe sentence to hard time.
I am not a big fan of US Bank and closed my account due to many mistakes on their part and even won a lawsuit against them and that was with the council bluffs and omaha branches i dealt with.

Saying all of that I have to question how legitimate your complaint is. You may be very legitimate but the reasons I question this is because a) you list the town as belleview when anyone that lives around here know that it is Bellevue and b) you list the phone number as [protected] however the entire east side if not the whole state of Nebraska is a 402 area code.

If this is legitimate or simply typo, s I am very willing to help to tell how to deal with them. I never won money in my lawsuit but I did have cleared all the negatives they put against my balance, and my account( which I immediately closed) put back in good standards. This was because they admitted in court they were at fault, claimed mistaken identity, and payed my attorney fees and restored my account if I dropped the suit which I did

take video to tv or newspaper and watch that store management and employees sweat
You should have done a rap song for your order, the McDonalds in American fork Utah call the police and prosecute if you Rap your order but at least you could have brought to Mickie D's your issue with the asst mgr. otherwise Mickie D's does not care
WTF? Not sure what you are complaining about. Is it poor customer service or is it something with phone lines? What boycott are you talking about?

OK, I have to add my comments. I worked for Wal-mart for 9yrs and a Portion of that time I was the overnight stocker for the automotive dept. I have had ZERO training except for doing my own oil changes yet MANY times I was asked to stay late( so early morning) to help out in the bays changing oil because people did not show up this was more than once but not all the time however my wife that also worked at walmart was made to work in the bays because people didnt show up or the store was cutting hours. She was trained so well she had to call me at home to ask me how a ratchet works READ THAT AGAIN she was trained so well she had to call me at home to ask me how a ratchet works... I know its sad that she didnt know how to work a ratchet but the point is she was made to work on peoples cars.
I also know for a fact that this store MANY times put people in the bays without any training. This store is in council Bluffs, Iowa and is store # 1965 This was about 3 yrs ago when I retired from walmart so things may have gotten better at this store but that was what it was like then.
I have read many posts under this complaint from people that said they work in TLE and have adequate training but I can tell you that does not happen at every store.

Wal-mart tle pretty sad that you think an honest story is BS perhaps your stories are the one to question. But giving the benefit of the doubt I am not sure how all stores work but what I can tell youabout when this was going on was when the TLE was a seperate unit from the regular store and had its own TLE manager as well as an automotive dept manager and a seperate Bay manager then Wal-mart as a company made TLE a part of the regular store which included scheduling and hours going against store. They let go the TLE manager as this store said a REGULAR Asst manager can be over automotive, hardware, sporting goods, pets. The automotive dept. manager(Dept. 10 so you know I know what I am talking about) was assigned to be a dept manager on the grocery side so that left just a bay manager and he got frustrated and quit. When hours started being done by corporate many techs left which meant that when TLE opened in the morning at 6am there was only one tech and if he called in or was late it wasnt until 8 am that more came in, so that meant the asst. manager who knew nothing about TLE was forced to ask for help from other associates. If someone was supposed to sign out on the work then perhaps you are talking about the asst manager who every time we finished a vehicle had to come check the torque on lug nuts or the cap on the oil fill.

I also said this was 3 years ago and things may have changed since there is an entire new management staff at the time I was explaining the store manager had left and they where waiting for the new store manager and Wal-mart went through a redistricting so this stores new district manager had been over this store for a brief time.

If you truely are what you say you are thenall of this should ring a bell even if it didnt happen at your store. I also know not all TLE's did (they may now) things the same way or even right for that matter.

Before you question the legitimacy of a persons comments you should have all the facts.
I think the above comments are a little harsh, not all disabilities are something you want to openly talk about for an example having to carry a catheter or even some other what could be deemed private. Just because a person appears "normal" doesnt mean anything. An artificial leg or many eye problems are considered disabilities yet the person may appear "normal".
I do understand however the airlines wanting a little more info because what is to keep any person from claiming handicapped just to board early, so they probably have procedures they have to go through and its probably not the agents fault.
I am not sure on this as I do not fly but when you purchase your ticket can you let them know you are disabled (I know buses, hotels etc ...do this) and this could be avoided completely. But like I say I dont know if airlines do this.
If the complaint is specifically about this gate and not the airline as a whole could you tell us what airport this happened at.

I am stunned that disney let this go through on the dvd

I am glad to know this is not just me this is happening to. Several sites I cannot even get into such as mymedicare.gov. I have had to use Internet Explorer when needing to get onto these sites. This has only become a problem since Mozilla Firefox upgraded and since the upgrade my computer has become very slow on loading pages.
