Um, sounds like they could have just been having some technical issues. I mean come on, if it's just turned off for like an hour or so, I'm sure they're having some problems with the networking or something. I can't imagine they would SHUT DOWN your service, turn it back on and then shut it down again?! That wouldn't even make sense. It's like when it's storming outside and the power goes out! All power type companies have issues, give them a break. Have you tried calling them to find out what happened? That would be common sense there!

Contact your bank then and let them know what's going on.
I would contact your bank and let them know what's going on. If you think someones hacking into your computer than they must have gotten a password/username from somewhere, I would suggest reinstalling everything on your computer and changing your pass/login info.
Maybe you should have called them in first place! Don't always rely on email, a lot of times you either never hear back or it's not for a long time when you get a response.

What's fastification? Did you mention that other people were doing this?
So you want to rent a truck (for someone else) and no one picks it up on the scheduled date? And you think they wouldn't charge you? Um, that's not how it works, as far as I know! When you make a reservation they put that "item" (or truck) basically on hold for you. So they make sure its available for your use on a certain date. The companies have to charge you a fee for not abiding by the rules. If you don't pick it up, or call in to cancel the reservation than it's your lose otherwise they would be loosing more business, when they could have rented the truck out to someone else! Don't blame them for your mistake!

Contact your bank then! There really isn't anything or anyone that can help you on this site. Let your bank know what's going on.

Contact the company and if no help is there, then let your bank know what's going on.

These emails go around all the time. Just delete it, no big deal!
Have you tried calling the company? Maybe they have technical problems relating to the website. Usually when someone has issues downloading or "looking" around on a website, usually you call the company to let them know about these issues so they can get fixed.

Have you tried contacting the company, that's probably the only way you'll find out what your daughter needs.

I don't really get why you would post on a complaints board when you have no complaint?!

have you tried contacting the place where you're suppose to be getting this card from? Common sense there!

These go around all the time, just delete it! It's a scam!
Would you rather have the $8400 or the $1300? Honestly you should be glad that you got the higher number! If you have a ticket, already paid and everything then use it! Don't let it go to waste, that's just stupid!
Call the company/site!

Did you sue her? This would have been such an easy case, meaning you definitely would have won it!

Sue them! It makes no sense that they would be allowed to keep the down payment if you didn't get the car.

I suggested she sue the landlord if the landlord was trying to get additional money from her after she moved out. If she had pictures of what the place looked like beforehand and the landlord was still going after her then I'm sure she would have had a good case against her.

Nonniemouse, it was morning, MY HUSBAND (who I was speaking for) and the coworkers were there for BREAKFAST! Not dinner and hamburgers, the breakfast meat sandwiches, obviously you've never purchased anything breakfast related at McDonalds! And just for your info this McDonalds opens at 5am, that's what it said on the sign out front. As for it being a 24/7 open, not sure where you're located but most of the McDonalds around us are open all the time, the drive thru that is.
Well it depends on how long you've been working there?! Like if its been a while then I would say maybe try and have a sit-down with your manager, i f you feel comfortable doing that . Or maybe see if you can be transferred to a different location. Or just ignore it and continue doing work. That's probably the best choice, just remember next time to keep an eye out for the customers so this doesn't happen again. It really depends on you though.

Yeah, the same thing happened to my husband. We hadn't use this company in a long time (months) and ended up switching to another company. They automatically renewed us and then we received a bill from a collection agency. When my husband contacted them he was told that they had emailed him several times (that never happened) because my husband is constantly checking his mail. They lied!

Okay, I see that this was from 2004, has anything changed since then? I'm not really sure why you would have posted this from so long ago. It's obvious that you needed help with this but it's kind of late, isn't it? You should have got a lawyer when all of this first started happening to you.

Wow, I'm not really sure what to say. Find a lawyer that's willing to help. That's the only thing I can think of.
