Just contact your bank and dispute the charge.

Why is it Google's fault when people fall for what is obviously a scam? People need to start taking responsibility for their own actions. Yes, these Web site operators are ### of the earth, but it's not Google's fault that you thought you were going to make $900 a day by spending $1.87 on some site.

Did you contact the actual business?

Ummm... you're not dealing with Google. You gave your money to a scammer.
Don't type in all caps.

I just looked at the site and it was quite clear. It says either "Buy now" or "Join now" under the books. When you select "Join now" for the cheaper book price it clearly states:

Terms of Offer:
Your satisfaction and your relationship are always important to us. You can try the BestBrandValues service risk-free for the first 3 days. Unless you cancel your account during the trial period, your BestBrandValues membership will be extended automatically at the low $19.95 membership fee per month, billed to the credit card or debit card you provide today. Your membership will be automatically renewed monthly at the then-current monthly fee, billed to the credit or debit card you provide. If you choose to discontinue during the trial period, simply call toll-free [protected] to cancel and you will pay nothing and owe nothing. There is no obligation to continue.

You've been scammed.
This is a scam.

First off, it's called a DVR.
Second, your protection plan covers hardware malfunction, like the hard drive going bad. This is a software glitch that DirecTV is working to fix for all of its customers. It's a completely different issue. Your DVR hardware is fine and sending you a new DVR that has the same software issue makes no sense whatsoever.
Just give them time to fix the software. It will automatically download to your receiver and you'll be good to go.

I say we fire the president. In six months he's proved to be the WORST president ever. Anyone who voted for him should be rounded up and deported for being completely gullible, naive, and lacking an ounce of intelligence. The only people who support this guy are people who don't work and want something for nothing. Dude can't even produce a birth certificate and prove he can actually be president.
It's time this country wakes the hell up and fights this assclown.

I'm shocked at the number of people on this site who don't run to the phone and call their credit card company the moment there is an odd charge on there. If you didn't buy something at a company, odds are your card number was stolen and being used fraudulently.

That's not "fraud." If you don't like their prices, don't buy from them.
Where can you buy a new car for $11, 000? Even an entry level Saturn is $16k.

You were totally scammed. You probably should close that card and have a new one issued.

First step, stop typing in ALL CAPS.
Last I heard women DEMANDED to be treated just like men... maybe you all should have thought what that meant.
Worst nightmare? Not just an inconvenience, but WORST nightmare? I call ###.

You park there at your own risk. They are not liable.

That has nothing to do with AT&T. That's the federal government. It's on every phone bill.

The government forces us to pay to support ### all the time.

What are you talking about? I just went there and it works fine.

The Web site works fine. You must not know how to use a Web browser properly.
Maybe you don't know how a Web browser works...

Google has nothing to do with this. That people think it does shows how easy it is for scammers to take your money. A fool and his money and are soon parted...

Any Web site can put a CNN logo on it. Or Oprah's logo. Or any logo. They're scammers. They'll do whatever to take your money.

Why on God's green earth would you put your credit card info on a Web site you know nothing about? I never understood how these scammers fooled people until finding this Web site.
Why not just go with Googlemaps or Mapquest?
Why would anyone think a 10 year old car is work nine grand... a Dodge on top of it?
