I am unable to log in, or reset my password bc my account must have been hacked & they changed my email address. I need to be able to retrieve my profile so that I can delete it, I do not want someone else posing as me or having access to my personal information & photos. I have contacted POF by email with no response. Shame on POF for not having better security measures in place. Please help!

I totally support you - I have had my profile hacked continuously and SOMEONE WORKING FOR POF is continually deleting my account and taken all my photos - there was a comment on this page from one person who states that a representative from POF had deleted his site for no reason and he did it twice - I even created a profile with no photo and it was up for an hour and then it was deleted for no apparent reason and it must be someone from inside POF one of their staff who is doing this as only they monitor who signs up and has access to all our photos and information - the profiles on there are fake the men appear to be fake and at one stage I was speaking with someone and in the background someone was typing words that I did not say right in front of me and only staff rom POF have access to this messaging - the person who is deleting customers profiles with no valid reason should be held accountable and they should be exposed in the news as they are corrupt and definitely should be exposed as such and you should report POF to Consumer Affairs because the company needs to be thoroughtly investigated for they are putting all of us women in danger by allowing such a thing to happen...the people controlling POF are determining who they will allow and who they wont on this site which is disguisting and they have the audacity to make us sign and say that we will be doing the right thing when in reality POF are the people that are doing the wrong thing by their customers - its truly sad to see such a big company abuse its power and treat people with no respect and no morals - good luck in your quest and I hope that you don't give up on your quest to expose POF and hopefully our collective responses will see something happen to change this toxic culture of POF.

I Met this criminal " Lars Anderson", who claims to be an intelligence Analyst, working for the SIA department as an undercover agent! We were talking about 2 Months and he was in Kabul Afghanistan for an urgent assignment but he wasn't there ! It was a big lie ! Some how he planned the whole thing to steal from me ! At some point he asked me if he could send me his personal stuff to my address cause his life was in great danger in Kabul, people dying every day etc. Of course I was extremely worried cause he was in " danger" after that I received an email from a fake courier Company Usniis? And now I know it was a huge scam ! the website of this fake courier Company Usniis is https://usniis.com, support@usniis.com, then some home the package was in " hold" by the Cambodia customs and this criminal Lars Anderson" literally begged me to pay for those fees ! I had to pay 1, 900 USD to the Cambodia customs" to release that package" then this fake package never arrived cause then I received another email from them asking for another 2, 000 USD to deliver this fake package to my door step! Now my money is gone cause I wired the money to the Cambodia customs" now I realized it was a f Scam ! This criminal Lars Anderson! Courier and the package was on its way to the States! Well l got another email from a "delivery man'" requesting another 2, 000 USD to deliver this non existent package to my doorstep! God! l realized it was a horrible SCAM! l contacted that courier service USNIIS? But No answer! my money is gone and this scammer " Lars Anderson" stole my 1, 900 USD ! Be aware everyone! This is the criminal I met on POF dating site and I don't know if is the same individual but this is one of the pictures he sent me. He stole 1, 900 USD from me and they were asking for another 2, 000 USD to deliver this non existent package" to my door step! I can't believe I was dealing with a F scammer for 2 Months!
Well I went through something like that. I don't have the picture of the person because once we started texting he took his pictures off the site and kept begging me to get off the POF site also he claimed he found who he was looking for. I told him we will text and see where it goes, that seem to have made him very upset. Anyway we text for about a week and the he gave me the lamest story a 5 year old could have came up with a better story. Anyway the story geos that some pirates took over this Chinese ship and killed everyone on it and they came upon the seen and killed all the pirates and the ship had a lot of money and gold and diamonds. Anyway they divided up everything among the crew members and and they had shipped their stuff to people they knew and he needed to ship his to me and once I received it he will give me a code to open it. He claimed that this package contained 1.6 million dollars, I told him no absolutely not and that made him mad. He said how am I going to get my money and that the money was for us and I can take it and buy a house for us. First of all who said I wanted to live with him, second I don't even know you that well yet and third your whole story sound like [censored]. If you provide security on a ship in the middle of the ocean how did the other crew members already ship their stuff, what the stalks picked it up. After that he still kept begging me but I wasn't budging, I felt like there was something definitely wrong her. I told him wait until he get home and get the package his self he said he didn't want to loose it and could I sent him money to catch a speed boat to land and catch a flight home I told him absolutely not and when I got him to stop texting I reported the information I had to the FBI fraud tip line. That is the the only encounter I have had with scammers on POF either, there was one before that wanted my personal info to send me money. Since when did you need someone drivers license, SSN and banking information to send them money? and just had another one claiming to love me and then asking me for money to complete a project for work. I don't know what some of these women on POF are letting these men talk them into doing, but now they seem to be targeting any and everyone with these scams and POF isn't doing anything about any of it.

I joined pof 4 days ago and had my most horrible experience on it. The second day that I joined I exchanged phone numbers with 2 guys Jay and James. I spoke with both on the phone briefly a 5 minutes phone call. Jay Coyle profile name jayomay88 (I believed it is a fake name) telephone # [protected] presented him as a super model with 6 packs and huge size in his package. On the other hand James Kennedy (I believed it is also a fake name) telephone number [protected] presented himself a normal firefighter. After our chats and texts, something seems very wrong. I realized that they are actually the same person. Jay plays hard to get and suggested I need another's help to meet him while James will provide the help to get to meet Jay. I then refused to meet James and I got both accounts same person threaten and harass me the whole next day. I then spoke with some of my male friends, they told me that there are a lot of people who has lot of free times to put fake profiles with fake pictures so that they can get girls' chats, texts and pictures and they will never meet you, they called "catfish". So my suggestion is stay away from this pof site, no different than you want into a bar that you will get all kind of psychopath, liars and losers. Thank you.

I have paid for a subscription and I cannot look at possible dates on the app?!? I'm incredibly frustrated with this ! I have never had an issue with pof before and would really like to make use of the $50 + I've spent trying to get it working properly. I have reported numerous profiles for being a scammer.nothing happens.I sent an email to customer service, no response.I cancelled my account, even though I paid.it's a total scam.that's one care Bout their users, only about making money.it's foreshadow scammers to hack profiles and try to scam people.I have found a common thread..they ask you right away for personal way to contact you.their English is not good.they are all widows.they love everything about you after 5 minutes

I had been speaking to her from Istanbul Turkey for a month saying she spent all her money and needed urgent help to clear her papers from customs to ship her shea butter and antiques .Claimed had no money and needed my urgent help.Loads of red flags but l felt guilty if i didnt morally and financiallyhelp her.Plus of course she contantly told me she loved me .I told her i needed proof.and she sent pic of passport and her account details. Her name is Hannah Mary Lopez however i think the real Hannah has had her ID and passport stolen in possibly Turkey.Please investigate its a suffisicated scam with airline tickets shown, passport, pics of products and bank details etc.

I got charged the membership fee of $38.70 on the 10/8/2019 which was fine but then I got charged $66.04 and then another $59. 01 on the 11/8/2019 from random things your website is the only place my card details have been entered so why the hell am I being charged these things. I think u need too update your site as old people are geting scamd get there savings tuck off then. This is a very bad dating app and I for one will be telling people top stay clear off it the disabled women I work for as had more then 9 men trying too tk money off her acting like thete in love with her and then tk her for a ride. From what I've overheard of her conversations with him I've noticed some red flags about him. I don't know his username however he's told her that he lives in Bakersfield Ca. and he conviently in Germany and I believe that's why he won't meet her yet. And even though she hasn't met him yet he's already asking her for small favors.

Hi, I cancelled my POF subscription 2 months ago. I know it was cancelled as my username and password became invalid. The problem is that I'm still being charged my monthly subscription of £19.99. I have had to go back to Paypal / Google to get the payment cancelled. I assumed the you would stop taking the payments as soon as the account was closed. I am absolutely disgusted with POF. A few weeks ago I was sent a picture of a man's genitals along with a disgusting message. I reported the sender.Twice. As well as not receiving a response or even an acknowledgement that they had received my report, I noticed that weeks later this user was still active and seemingly had not had a consequence despite this clear and disgusting violation of the community standards. However, when I sent a picture of my tattoo (a close up) where nothing inappropriate was visible, my picture got taken down and I received a warning message from ‘Markus'. I was also sent a picture of someone's breasts and whilst they were rightly deleted straight away, it leaves me wondering why that account was deleted and not the other one! I have tried to contact POF and have thus far been ignored, I would really love an explanation for this double standard. I have also had a man messaging me with what I later found out was someone else's picture who on the phone became VERY inappropriate with me. I feel that nothing is being done to ensure women's safety on this site but things are picked up on that really do matter!

plenty of fish was a great site now it is being destroyed. they delete people images and the ones that are meeting the criteria. the computer is running the company. the staff marcus is to blame . i feel sorry for all people who have been defamed by pof. no wonder when you ask around there are so many complaints and new members are being less and less

OK so in POF infinite wisdom they've decided guys over a certain age not allowed to contact girls below a certain age. Yet again more seism aimed at guys!
Not only that, but time and again a girl will appear in my searches, for me to take time to write a nice message, only for it to bounce back saying "she won't expect from me " So why is she turning up in my searches.
Spoke to POF multiple times about this.
But they've done nothing as they don't really care.
