Penfolds has a great team of professionals that made the whole experience from beginning to end really easy and stress free. We appreciate the workmanship - including the free tarp service until our roof was ready to be installed and the great cleanup after the job was complete. Would recommend Penfolds without hesitation. Thank you Penfolds Team it's really nice to not worry what's going to leak when the skies open up.

Penfolds did replacement of our house roof 2014. They were very helpful when we need a small roof built on the bay window the following year as a result of the leakage of existing flat roof covering. They recently offered a voluntary roof inspection and replaced all the vents with unexpected wear and tear. Good communication and attitude are maintained among staffs of different departments. The integrity and good work are highly commendable.

Penfolds replaced our entire roof this November. It is an older house with two major previous renovations and a complex roofline. I selected the company because of there expertice and reputation. I was very pleased with the job the office team and the onsite team did. The communication as excellent and the onsite team did an amazing job outside in the middle of November. The site was cleaned up beautifully and we have an excellent new roof with an excellent guarantee.

Penfolds to the rescue! A raccoon tore up our roof one evening and Penfolds was there the next day repairing the damage. Penfolds had replaced our roof 10 year earlier and their service hasn't changed at all in those 10 years. Great service and friendly staff at the office when I called in with this urgent request (it was going to rain that day). I wasn't home when the repair was done, otherwise I would have like to have thanked the guy who did the repair - excellent job. Thanks guys!

I had quotes from three roofing firms. Penfolds was the most reasonable and reputable. I signed the contract in Sept. and the construction was delayed due to weather. A leak started and a crew was sent immediately to temporarily repair the leak with a tarp. I was kept fully informed by very friendly and professional staff at Penfolds. I dealt with Hammish Rennie Technical Adviser on sight during construction and found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend the firm... good job at a reasonable cost...

We chose Penfolds as they undertook re-roofing projects for two family members in the past and also given their long established presence in the Lower Mainland. We did view a number of projects Penfolds had underway and others recently completed and were very impressed. Adam did a great job with his detailed quote, advice and follow-up when needed. The crew led by Jessie were fantastic, very hard working and with attention to detail. Brian overseeing, Peter with his carpentry skills and Mariya co-ordinating were an integral part of the team. Job well done!

We had our roof replaced in late February/early March . The work was carried out flawlessly by very competent workers. They cleaned up every day. One of their workers came back on a Saturday to also redo the small roof on our shed. He was very creative in finding some extra two by fours we had on hand so the shed roof would be the exact same size as before. Penfolds had done a very small repair on our roof about 6 years ago. At the time, the employee said, "Just give us gas money and call it even". That gesture kept Penfolds on the list if our roof needed replacement. In early Feb 2020 they gave us a well thought quote with three options and said we would be first on the list if the weather allowed them to start.

Our experience with Penfolds Roofing was great. We had been planning to have our roof done since the wind storm of 2018, when we had shingles flying off. Realizing our roof needed attention we looked around and found Penfolds reputation was very good. When Dylan came and looked at our roof he saw that we had wind damage on our roof. He mentioned we could claim for damages with our house insurance. We never thought about this, the wind storm was a year and a half prior and we have never claimed anything on our insurance before. Dylan worked with our insurance guy and we were able to claim 60% of the cost. Never mind (yet very happy) that the cost was more than half covered. Asking around we found the price of a new roof with Penfolds was reasonable. From start to finish they walked us through, answering any questions we had right away. Friday morning they came, even with a big dumpster for the garbage and by Monday morning the only thing left was a new roof. What a roof, better than expected. There is even a gizmo that guides the water on the corners of the roof to the gutter. One gizmo wasn't catching the first rain we had and we had a little spout off the roof. Calling Penfolds they came in a couple of days and fixed the issue. I would recommend Penfolds for anyone wanting help with their roof, be it new or a repair. They listen to what it is you are inquiring about, the prices are reasonable, explain all that is needed and walk you through the job, you get all the information in writing, call back right away when inquiring about something, very professional during the roofing process, clean up after themselves and follow up to see that the roof is done to your liking. This is long winded but I can't say enough with how happy I am with our roof and I can't wait for the next wind storm.

Value, Integrity, Professionalism. These are words that I thought I would never think of when it came to this industry, and yet here I am writing them due to the wonderful experience, that I had with the Penfolds family. I had become weary of trying to find a contractor that could assist me with my home roofing project. I had interviewed a number of roofing contractors prior to contacting Penfolds, and had become very uncomfortable with the vagueness of their approach, over pricing and lack of knowledge towards my general questions. With Penfolds, they had redefined what every homeowner wants to experience with a roofing company . This company exhibited true value in the quality and competitive pricing in the variety of their product line. Not only is their workmanship and products guaranteed with a transferable warranty if my home was sold, but they stand behind each home project with integrity. The company is well organized and had displayed professionalism at every level of the process I went through from initial interview, product review, quote, contract review, signing, pre inspection, starting my roof job, daily clean up, daily field supervisor inspection, final job review and closure. I had initially contacted their company online and was contacted within a few days by a Technical Advisor. He met with me promptly at my home, went over all of my roofing concerns and took the time to photograph and to document my home in detail. The Technical Advisor was able to study my project and to recommend product options that suited my needs, for the specific area of the city that I live in of Coquitlam. What I found absolutely stunning about this company is the depth of what they can do for problem areas of my roof. I had explained that I had an overhang that was too short in the face of my home, and 3 other areas that had water overflow problems which damaged my sub fascia and face fascia. The Technical Advisor has an intimate knowledge of roofing designs and explained to me their ability to correct problem areas of my roof as they have a professional carpenter team that works on site. No other company that I had interviewed had this kind of depth and was willing to address any of these roofing issues or to offer me options. Others were willing to let the problems continue as long as they got the roofing contract. The workmanship that I personally observed the carpenter perform on my house was beyond breathtaking and best of all affordable. There are no words to describe the value, safety and peace of mind that has now been awarded to me. It took over a week to complete my roof and I had the pleasure of meeting and observing my team of 3 roofers go through their daily ritual of clearing the old tiles off my roof, preparing the roof and installing my *** Asphalt shingles. The crew was respectful to me, my home and showed great care in completing my roof project. They were very well experienced with this type of roof conversion from concrete tiles to asphalt shingles and coordinated the project daily with their field supervisor and on site carpenter. From start to finish they were on time and on budget. They acted as a team and pulled together. Once the project was completed the Technical Advisor and Field Supervisor, each took time to follow up with me on my project. They reviewed the roof in detail before final closure of the project. With Penfolds you are not just getting a roof, you are getting true value, overwhelming integrity and professional staff working on your roof project. Given that this is one of the most important home projects that I had to address, I am happy that I selected a company that had depth of knowledge, experienced staff and a family that stands by their name and workmanship.

Got a new roof from Penfolds Roofing & Solar in March . They said it comes with lifetime warranty, 10 yr replacement, and 10 yr installation warranty. But when I checked my attic in March , I saw mold growing on the new sheathing. Penfolds came to check it out and said everything was up to code. They opened the gable vents and suggested I get an attic assessment from *** Enineering. I paid for the assessment and got a report that questions some of the products and installation. The ventilation system they put in doesn't meet code. And I noticed they didn't even try to staple any baffles at the eaves. They just left half pieces of baffling on top of the insulation, which messed up the airflow.
