I found the calculations for social security and Medicare to be off. Am wondering if they have not upgraded to 2013 tax base.
Also, I need a date on the form which I could not find anywhere.

I bought it to show my clients a sample deduction check. The SS is not updated to 6.2%, and there is no flexibility to customize. I would like the developers to get up on updates for this app...

Informed the developer that this program does not figure 401-k
properly, was informed that an update was in the works, that has been serval months ago this program is useless a waste of my money.

I receive hourly wages but sometimes work special projects that require payment to me in flat dollar amounts. It would be great if there was a way to include these amounts. Otherwise great app!

Clunky interface and extremely limited in it's utilization. No input for 401 or allowance for itemized payroll deductions. Definitely not worth the price. Use paycheckcity or some other website.

It is a very rigid and primitive app and had no flexibility. In particular you cannot remove federal tax or social security to be able to customize the way you want. Stay away. Awful and expensive.

It worked fine for me until they updated it and removed the salary calculating feature. That made it easy to calculate paychecks for guys who do piece work (hourly pay plus pay per units finished).

I have had the paid version of this app for some time. It has worked great, calculating varying gross incomes into very accurate - within less than a dollar - net income amounts. I highly recommend this app!

After buying this app, it would not run. I was told I needed to update my iPhone 3G, for this app to run. Please note there is NO WARNING before you buy this app, that said app WILL NOT run on a iPhone 3G. THANKS!

App works good so far but it don't save hourly rate in profiles so you have to change it for different employees. Also it doesn't automatically keep up with the paid to date, you have to manually add it up and change it.

This app has worked good in the past for me to calculate a layoff check in the field and enter into quickbooks later, but today it did not calculate hours correctly and an employee was paid $200 over on a layoff check. Thanks for helping me waste money.

Don't use. They have not calculated the social security deduction correctly. If your paying a fee for the program they should get it right. There is a maximum which they have not taken into account.

I purchased the program and expected that they would have used the correct calculation for social security

I have used this app for a few years and recently had an issue after an update. I messaged their customer service team and they figured out what the problem was quickly and kept me in the loop every step of the way! So thankful for the support and quick response! Excellent app and wonderful customer service!

Great app. I've been cautiously changing my w-4s to receive more net pay. Otherwise the gov't uses it all year with no interest. Also very helpful for projected budgets as my weekly income is always different. A major change in lifestyle and living on less (Dave Ramsey student) has caused my wife & I to increase our net worth $100,000+ in 26 months and still going. This app is a great tool to help with some of this.

I’ve been using this app for 3 years now and it has always been of great help to calculate my checks.
It may be off by no more than $10 but that has more to do with jobs take a few more dollars here and there for taxes than the app. Best advice is to download this app and make sure you put in any additional taxes or withholdings in your settings to get an accurate amount. Only thing I wish this app had was holiday pay section. It would just make it a little easier to calculate checks if holiday pay was an option.

I found this to be a great tool to quickly get an estimate of taxes and my net pay. I could quickly see the impact of changing my deductions.
Would have been nice to have the 2013 rates earlier even though they were not official yet.
Maybe add PA local taxes automatically so they are put in the correct pre/post tax columns as I'm not sure where they belong. My employer doesn't withhold these taxes.

Since I'll be messing with my deductions this year I wonder if my calculations will be correct later in the year when I reduce my deductions to catch up for earlier changes.

This will not replace your official payroll company system and you'd be a fool to try and process your payroll using any iPhone app that's not integrated into your payroll company.

Does not calculate the federal or state tax withholding as indicated.

Tax percentages are wrong. This app is a waste of $4.99 until they update with the newest tax rules.

I found that my federal taxes were off at least $2.00 social security off &4.00 and Medicare off by .94

How can you not add decimals for your hours worked? I’m trying to get down the dollars and cents over here.

I used to use this app every month but since 2 months ago I'm receiving an error message even with the paid version every time I try.

Terrible app live in ohio & pay state tax but the app does not recognize ohio state tax. Just wasted $4.99. Want my money back & you can keep app.

Got to record each paycheck and have an updating YTD amount saved, but does not update YTD, just gives one single calculation!

I really expected to find on the upgraded version pretax benefits as well as aftertax contributions as well as a place to account for 401k. Very disappointing.

Washington state now collects tax for WAPFML (Washington paid family medical leave). This applies to all employees. Please update! Useless without this change.

For whatever reason they removed the salary calculator... Not sure why but that was the only reason I purchased it... If they don't restore that function I'll look for something better.

Won't allow me to update on my iPad. Got message " the app is not compatible with the device". Using my iPhone 6 Plus, calculating long time then pop up message " error the request timed out
