Payless Rooter/Drain Cleaning & Mato Plumbing

I went with Payless Rooter/Drain Cleaning & Mato Plumbing LLC when I had trouble with my water heater. They were the first ones available and didn't charge for initial service (other companies charged $50-$80, but that fee went towards the work if needed). They tightened a few screws and were at my place for less than an hour, but then charged me $175. It felt like a bait and switch. To make matters worse, my water heater had issues again two days later. My regular company only charges $79 for initial service, so $175 for less than an hour of work is crazy. I left a 1-star review on Thumbtack, but they responded dishonestly, saying the tech was there for over 2 hours (which wasn't true). This is unethical. I have proof that the tech was only there for less than an hour.
