Very bad experience at Oxmoor Toyota. They were not nice and I don't trust them. They say one thing to get you to come in, but then they change everything when you want to buy. I wouldn't go to this Toyota place. They wanted me to pay 2500 for market allocation and 1000 for deposit. They said before that they weren't going to charge for market allocation, but now they are.

Oxmoor Toyota is not a good place to go for a car. They are not honest and I am a senior citizen who is turning in my lease in June. They are making it hard for me and my car is in really good shape with low miles. I always try to be honest, but not everyone is like that. I thought they would have treated me better since I have been a good customer for a long time.

Me and my hubby hit up Oxmoor Toyota to find a new whip. We talked to Jessica, the online sales lady, who hit us up when the car we wanted was on their next list. She sent us the deets on the car and the price. We said we were down and she said we should come in to meet a sales person and put down a deposit to hold the car when it came in. When we got there a few hours later, a sales person told us they were marking up all hybrids $5000 and all gas cars $2500 because there was more demand than supply. We didn't know about the mark-up until we got there. We bounced and got a car at *** in Florence with no mark-up. They're shady and ripping off customers. I'll never buy anything there.

Bought a 2008 Lexus in Jan. 2020 from Oxmoor Toyota. They charged us $1,530.08 for sales tax, which was more than what Tennessee state tax rate is. They should have known this. They said they checked with Putnam County where the car would be tagged in Tennessee. Because of this, our interest rate is higher than it should be. We have to pay $1,530.08 in our monthly payment of $223.73 for 60 months. They added the extra amount of $1,530.06 to the sale amount, which is fraud. We are on a fixed income and the difference in the monthly payment will be felt. It might be illegal and a common practice when dealing with the elderly.

I had to ask Oxmoor about my lease ending and what my options were. I decided to buy the car and on 7/23 Oxmoor did the financing on the lease buyout. The next day I looked at the paperwork and saw a 299.00 charge for etching. Etching is when the dealer puts the VIN number on the windshield and windows. They never had my car and didn't do the etching. I also saw a 598.90 charge for a special benefit package. I went to Oxmoor to talk to the finance manager, but he wasn't there. He called me the next day and said there was a mix-up with the bank and he would give me a refund. He didn't say anything about the special benefit package. I waited a week and didn't get a check. I wrote a bad review and got a response from someone. She said the finance team said I would get a refund the next day. I waited a few days and still no check. I emailed her and she said she would talk to her manager. A few days later the lead finance manager called me and asked if I got the check. I didn't get the check, but I got a call from the finance department that said they put the check in the mail. He said he would email me his contact information and I should call him when I got the check. I asked him about the special benefit package and he said he would send me some information. I never got his contact information or any information. I got a check that day for 299.00. I was supposed to get an additional 598.90 that I asked for in my first email. I don't think there is a special benefit package. Nobody knows what it is. I want my money back.
