Ourisman JCDR in Baltimore Maryland intentionally advertises false vehicle sale prices and misrepresents price agreements during the sales process to lure you into running your personal credit. Online Website Pricing on several sites stated a vehicle price of $61,395 as the Final Price. During the sales process, There were discussions with the sales person who consulted with his sales manager. At the onset, we reviewed the advertised vehicle sales price, vehicle features and options, and confirmed a mutual interest to purchase the vehicle for approximately $68,500 +/- Out the Door, Including Tax & Lic Fees (+/- depending on registration fee's). When I requested a total price, I was told that we will have to complete the application to have an accurate total. I agreed to the total estimate and submitted personal information to begin the purchase process. The dealer processed and ran my personnel credit and found no issues. Credit scores were high and qualified. It was at that point when the sales person provided a final sale price of $77,200 (+/-). This is intentional misrepresentation as the dealer is engaging in advertisement malpractice by Baiting and Switching consumers. Once the sales department performed the application and credit process, they significantly change their sale price ($9,000+ of stated original) and claim that you are disqualified of dealer incentives and factory OEM rebates. When questioning them to help me understand how I was disqualified, they claimed that it was a mistake in the advertised price and that the increase in price has nothing to do with rebates or incentives. Furthermore, the sales managers claim that the sales person is new (less than 1 month) and did not know what he was doing. This is also false as the salesperson stated he has many years of experience and his Linkedin page states over 3+ years of experience working for the Ourisman Group of dealers.
