OpenAI review: Contacting support (email) and everytime I respond to them, it sends a new email instead of replying (since Aug 12, 2025) and other issues

Since Aug 12, 2025, when contacting support (by email), the email just goes like "Case Id", then with gibberish or random code, then goes to the topic name of the email I sent them. To be clear, I did provide a picture below on what it looks like for a more visual look (it looks spamming by the way). So when I sent them a email saying there's a bug on ChatGPT with the topic name "I found a bug when opening ChatGPT" in the email (note that the email I used is support@openai.com (not my email address)) and sent it, it just sends it to a new email instead of replying it as a way to reply a user. In the picture, it shows the topic name "Case Id 500VU00000WFq0uYAD I found a bug when opening ChatGPT" instead of "I found a bug when opening ChatGPT" in the same email. So when I replied that message, it just sent it to a another email also saying the same topic ("Case Id 500VU00000WFq0uYAD I found a bug when opening ChatGPT") and then it just repeats on and on and on. Now I don't know how this happened but this is considered spamming for me and other people. Imagine trying to find a email from somebody with hundreds of separated OpenAI emails like this. Also, there are other issues. After Aug 12, 2025 (again, the date could be wrong), the email support@openai.com redirects the email to support-team@mail.openai.com and there was no warning of the email changes about any of these that I mentioned. This means that OpenAI is changing the email system to spam users whenever a user responds (again, when a user responds, a new email (separated email) appears about the same topic). And since then, my inbox got full of these due to OpenAI's new email system and I couldn't find the email I wanted (sometimes even when I'm using the search feature)

If this is fixed, I'll mark this as resolved

The picture below (or wherever the location in this complaint is at) represents spamming from the OpenAI support (whenever I respond only once and then respond again asking to stop and continues and I took this at Aug 14, 2025)

Now they're trying to spam me messages on how I'm doing on whatever case number it is but there's no mention of the case number in any emails. If you look at the email screenshot (the one it asks for feedback, that is recently changed also). As for the other one, it shows how many emails that I have been asked to rate for feedback (the screenshot shows 3 but it happened more than 3 times but if you look at the right side of the email, it will show you what times it just sends me the email (I covered most of them to make sure we are on topic))

I double checked if it's mentioned anywhere that OpenAI changed the new email system for just around 1 hour or 2 hours and I couldn't find any mentions of the new email system change. So this means that OpenAI is changing the email system without any warning as if they don't, I get confused and the same thing for you (if you try)

I did contact a agent in the email (starting on Aug 12, 13, or something close (but before Aug 15, 2025)) and the agent said it's because of my email design saying "Conversation view" is off (this is Gmail). It's not off the whole time as I leave it on and when I tested other emails with the option on, other emails reply in the same email instead of a different email. The agent said they are aware and will report it to the OpenAI team and fix it but they lied. It's not even fixed as of Aug 25, 2025 as I tested and it still happens and if it's resolved, I will mark it resolved (most likely very soon but I hope it's before Jan 2026)

Ok, as of Aug 27, 2025, the old email address no longer redirects it to support-team@mail.openai.com and it will go to support@openai.com (this issue is fixed) but they still have not even fixed the issue about "Case Id [random code or gibberish] [whatever the topic name I sent to them]" and that's unnecessary space as there's no point of adding a case ID then random code as that would be hard to find if this happens. Also, for some reason, when I sent a new email to them, it just sends to a different email and if I reply in that different email, it doesn't spam anymore and instead replies in the same email as the one they said (though they still need to fix that issue). To be clear, this is what I'm talking about for that one (this is made up by the way and the responses may not be the same):
Me (sending a email to OpenAI support): [Reports a bug]
OpenAI support (sends a different email and responds the same way): [Asks a question related to a bug]
Me: [Answers the email from the one from OpenAI in the email that OpenAI sent]
OpenAI support (didn't actually send a another email to spam but kept it organized (resolved)): [Whatever the response is]

So that issue has been resolved on Aug 26, 2025 or Aug 27, 2025 (but only on the first response is the problem so it's partially solved) but still has not fixed the thing that it says "Case Id", then gibberish random code, then whatever topic name I sent to them. There are only 2 things to fix left. If one or both of them is resolved, then I'll update it here and mark the complaint as resolved

Oops. Sorry, I was wrong. The old email (support@openai.com) still redirects it to the new email (support-team@mail.openai.com) and that one is unsolved

Ok. It appears to be that support@openai.com is not working (new issue). What I mean is that when I contact that email address (started on Aug 27 or 28, 2025), it doesn't appear to respond to my emails but support-team@mail.openai.com still gets responses. I don't know what is happening but I checked my spam folder and it doesn't appear there. It did not redirect correctly or this is a bug. If the email address support@openai.com issue (not responding but other email addresses does) is resolved, I'll let you know

Now the issue of the support@openai.com emails are working now (was resolved on Aug 29, 2025) but they still couldn't even address the Case ID the random gibberish code thing and the redirected email thing

All the issues I mentioned (random Case ID code, the email support@openai.com does not redirect anymore, and other issues are resolved)
