I had a run-in with Oak Crest Roofing and their sales tactics. They came to my house even though I had a sign that said NO SOLICITATION on my door. They rang the bell and waited for a long time. They did it again a couple of days later, even though I had a note on the doorbell that said not to ring it. The note was there because my husband was sleeping. They keep coming into our neighborhood even though there's a sign that says NO SOLICITATION at the entrance. They need to teach their salespeople to respect people's signs. They're there for a reason.

Oak Crest Roofing done our roof a few years back and it's still under warranty until 1/23. We got a lil' leak and I'm tryna get in touch with them to fix it up. But dang, none of their places are pickin' up my calls. So I went to their *** office and there ain't no sign of 'em. Are they still kickin' it in business or what?

Oak Crest did my roof like 2 years ago. It's been leaking a bunch and they only fixed one leak (and it was done real bad). I been calling them since month 1 and nonstop for the last 6 months to tell them about the leaks and one that's messing up my ceiling. Some dude came over (no notice, not from Oak Crest, and not licensed) and looked at the ceiling and said it was from a leak. He left and never came back. They ain't done nothing since and every time I call they make me talk to some *** or *** from different places, none of them got a last name or can give me a case number or a date for when it's gonna get fixed. They ask if it's damp and act like the damage ain't that bad. They can't tell me who's gonna follow up or when. Seems like nobody who deals with warranty stuff is licensed or even works for the company. Then some new person calls me back a day or two later and says they never heard of my claim before.

Oak Crest Roofing was the boss man we hired to switch out the roof on our crib and they finished up on 11/18 with a 2 year warranty on their work. They had to switch out the gutter above our lanai and do some electrical work when the lanai screening had to be moved for the gutter switch out. Oak Crest was in charge of all the work and payments with the gutter and electrical contractors and they got paid a little extra for it. On 10/4, I called them up to let them know that the gutter they put in was leaking. I left a message when they told me to, but no one called me back. My old lady called them up on 10/6 and talked to someone who gave her another number for a PROBLEM TICKET. She was on hold for a while and then told to leave a message. Still no call back. I called them up again on 10/8 and left another message, but no one called me back. I tried calling them up again today on 10/14 and left another voicemail. Still haven't heard anything.

My roof was done by Oak Crest in Dec. of 2018 after Hurricane ***. It started leaking in the late spring, early summer of 2020. The bottom row of shingles started cupping in a couple of places causing water to pool and in turn get under the shingles and leak into my soffits. After I filed a request for warranty work I was contacted by the employee that was responsible for organizing the repair. He was skeptical that Oak Crest was responsible for the repairs after I spoke with him on the phone and before he has even come to look at the roof. When he did show up, he tried the shift blame off of Oak immediately. He spend about a total of 10 minutes on my roof and tried telling me that my roof was leaking because I have bad trusses because the plywood was bouncing. Only it was bouncing between the trusses, not where the trusses were. I wasn't buying that explanation. I asked him if the plywood is solid where the truss is and bouncing where the truss is not, shouldn't the plywood have been replaced when the roof was replaced. He didn't really try to answer that. He finally agreed that Oak Crest would repair the leak once I had my gutters removed so that all the drip edge could be replaced. The drip edge was replaced and the leaks were fixed. In September one of the same sections started leaking again. I contacted Oak Crest and requested warranty work to be done to fix the leak. The same individual as before was assigned to my job. It is December and no one from Oak Crest has even come by to assess what needs to be done. I have repeatedly contacted the Oak Crest Office and the individual who is supposed the arrange the repair. On December 7th I contacted the individual and ask for an update and to inform him that since my roof had been leaking so long, my soffits were starting to rot. So I wanted them repaired. He informed me that they were not going to repair my soffits and that my roof was leaking because of my trusses and he felt like the roof was impossible to repair, I have his response documented in a text message. I contacted Oak Crest and asked for someone else to be assigned to my request.
