Fraud telecom company

Absolutely fraud company. Its unfortunate that there is no such government law to protect their citizens and take actions against such company. I received a call from INDIA gave me completely law rates and 700 minutes FREE for international calls. I was asked to pay $37 as deposit. After activation, when I received the invoice and saw the charges were four times and NO FREE calls as committed. I paid the invoiced amount and asked for the refund in Jan' 2011. Until now, as of May ' 2011, I made 10 follow-up calls and multiple emails sent to NuEra. No outcome...All time, they speak lie, different answers for the deposit, calls are being disconnected...The calls are getting landed some where in Latin America, doesn't have any responsible person to answer and refund the amount. Amount is too small but cheating intensions are unbearable. Any one can suggest me to escalate this on higher Canadian or International level or guide for the lawsuits ! If not, At least please spread this message until we hear some Government actions taken on such fraud companies. It will a great help to other people...

    Yes, Abhiashka, I am 100% with you. if we can escalate it to the Fraud department to teach a lesson to this company. I am a victim of same type of fraud. I was told very attractive rates to India at the time of signup. The CSR was from India. When I got my credit card bill, I was charged different amount than I was told. For Refund followup, I didn't get good response and customer service was rude. One CSR at one time said, " we don't go by the words of Sales person (who sold the long distance service to you) for dealing customer complaints. We go by the words what are used during the Verification Call". That's rip-off. I had to cancel my service to get my activation fee refund. But I am still not able to get my wrongly charged money back. According to their official sales department, rates are fine but when the sales person try to sell the long distance service, they just say any cheaper rate from their mind and get you convinced for sign-up. You don't realize the amount until you get the bill. Additionally, I didn't receive any confirmation email with account details for my account activation for 6 weeks since service started. It means, I didn't know my account number, login credentials to check my online status, etc.
    If we get enough people, I am in the group for teaching lesson to those type of companies.

    I recieved call from unnown number calling girl name Neha from india give personal mobile no. 7838495056 and say get my cell no. from my friend and offer a cheap scheme for 7 dollar per month unlimited calling to india. I reply i am not interested please call me after one week. After two three day today i again recieve call from Neha that what i think to get service. When i want to enquire more about the company she transfered call to someone who tell himself boss and again ensure that company name is Nu era telecom and asked to check the site. I check the site it looks OK. I give my personal information and then he said that u will recieve call from company they will tell you regular scheme and you said OK and rest is on me, I am big boss they are junior so no problem I will give you this promotional scheme. When i asked if i donot confirm their scheme but i have cheap scheme, he said its formality you have only to confirm the information you give, all other things on me. In the meantime I confirm from other phone the no. 7838495056 and other side was Neha (phone provider is Vodafone and phone no. of Delhi ). I recieved welcome call from Nuera tel no. 18583095204 enquired about information i gave, when i enquired that r u having any branch in india, he replied he is having no information. Then I search internet about scam and found so much information about their fraud. I find that my credit card was already charged. When i call back on company number, get reply that number is inactive. When I call company customer service number, recieved reply from a girl who enquired about my information, when i requested to cancel my service which is not yet started and refund my money she said either give me the name of person who give you scheme or give me account number. When i said that your company has charged the account and refund the money she said that she could not help and try to connect customer service and disconnect the phone. I feel there may be scam.

Hi All I am looking for my refund from this company and its been more than 5 months everytime they have...

no refund after one day of service

The company is legitimate but the service is devious. I should have checked the complaint board before I purchased their service. I tried to cancel the service next day but they told me someone is going to call me back and no one called. It is easy to dispute the charge by calling my credit card number and report them as a fraudulent company, no sweat, I will get my credit card company to refund me the money. In the future i will use the complaint board website before I purchase from any other company. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to enter his experience to learn about fraudulent companies.

    Adammaam, you are right, thid company is fulllll of lies! and do you know what is sad? that some people do not check their bill at detail. Like in my case. I've had Nueratelecom since 2009. but I just now (today) I took a better look into my bill, and do you know what did I find? I found that they have been charging me 2.27cents per minute instead of 1.9cents per minute .. and not just that some weird taxes... and I found that there are some calls that I'd never done!!! calls mmm how can I explain you!! mm ok .. my bill says that I called at 2:00pm(at this time I am at work) to my moms house from my cellphone and lasted 36 minutes. And that I called at 2:29pm from my homephone to my moms house also and lasted 64 minutos... It is not that curious(weird)? that I called from my cellphone at work and my other ME called from my homephone to the sale place and almost at the same time??????? and for some reason those calls do not show in my cellphone bills, neither in my homephone bills!!!... I call FRAUDELNT COMPANY .. and yes I want to take this issue to the layers!!!

    Yes. I strongly agree your post. They took 3.95 as a deposit from my credit card. After reading many forums I come to know that they are Fraud. so I asked for cancellation after 2 days of registration and I did not use their service even for 1 min. One of they company rep said We won't return back your deposit and it is consider as activation fee. In the welcome call they said this amount will be consider as deposit and it will be returned at the time of cancellation. Immediately I contacted my credit card company for refund. For the courtesy purpose they gave my money back because amount is small and warn to know about these frauds before you give card details. Never use their service they are complete Fraud.

    I am complete agree with the posts. As previous customers, I also accepted the offer I received over the phone to use their long distance services. However, after 2 months I noticed that the calls were alterated, I wrote down the time I starting calling and the time I finished the call and guess what, they added minutes!! for example a 25 minutes to my mom becomes a 254 minutes!!! when I contacted them to camplain they offered me a lower rate for minute. As I provided them with my credit card information, they just took the amount for the last invoice from my card, even though I was trying to get the invoice fixed because the alteration on the minutes they were charging me. However, I couldn't do anything about it and in order to get my deposit back, I was told to wait 90 days.!! I asked the employee who offered me the service if she was calling from Canada but she told me that she was in Peru and calling from there to offer the services. This company is a FRAUD AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HAS A PERMISSION TO OPERATE IN CANADA!!!

cheater and liars bogus company

some guy named sameer khan called my friend and gave rates for pakistan 2 cents, canada and usa half cent and uk 1.5 cents.he gave her 100 min free to pak every month plus 5% discount and plus 10% more discount if your monthly billing goes up 15 dollars.39 dollars deposite which they re going to refund in subsequent bills.my frind gave my reference so he called me gave his e mail address if you have any problem, mail me. rates same as i told you asked for credit card which we gave.he said he is giving me special promotion which is specially for his family member.some body will call you for activation .he asked us to say yes when they tell you 4.4 cents bc it will be 2 cents on bill. he said you can check online right away after calling your charges will be shown.he is sending password in 24 hrs.we waited but no body e mailed us. i called customer service about this bull ### she started apologising and saying use our service please.now both of us mailed sameer khan at his g mail account no answer.i changed my card info.customerservice people said sorry but they said you have to pay that rate.if somebody has an idea how to nail them let me know. they are calling calling calling such a fraud.his email is khan.[protected]@gmail.com

    i am muhammad tahir from ontario.i am using nuera telecom service from 5 years but i have no issue any problem with this company. fault is ours we always expect for cheaper one.compare nuera rates from other compny it is always good from others they have only criteria that they take 38$ at first time but when you want to cancel it they can give you calling card of 50$ if you want my friend sarfraz get 50$ card from nu era when he canceled his srvc, you can use it as you want after all my opinion is this compny is not bad from others compny in canada 7 numbers out of 10

    the same thing has happened to me. Nu era telecom is just a bunch of scammers fronted by poor, uneducated Indians and Latinos/Mexicans working away in sweaty call-centers. These people couldn't care less about the customer as long as they can scam some money off the rich Americans. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

    they are very lair.and fraud.they told me we charge u $3.95 which is refundable.when i cancel my service so i call them after few dayes for refund they says its take 90 dayes and now after 90 day they says its activation fee.which is non refundable

    I was a victim of Nuera telepoop and I would like to sue their butts off, But it gets difficult because their office is in other country which makes it difficult to sue. If anyone has an idea of how to sue them or proceed against them let me know please

    Its a big time SCAM. Nu-era Telecoms ask you to 40 dollar deposit and sign up with them with very attractive rates. Its all scam they have so many hidden charges and they increase rate with out informing customers. Do Not Sign up with Nu-era. If you need more Info please contact thanks.

    Having been a victim of fraud to this Nuera Telecom company I suggest that you submit a complaint online to BBB (Better Business Bureau) for them to post a warning to the general public about the scams created by this company. If only we spend a little of our time filing a complaint to BBB, I'm sure somehow this will greatly affect Nuera's business. I've been calling (Nuera) every week about my security deposit and I won't stop until I get them back. Furthermore, I tried calling all my friends and relatives from other state and persuade them to stop doing business with this company and not to forget about filing their complaint with BBB.

Nuera long distance company is a fraud company, they have hired some cheap low life whores like Nazia Khan who call men to give them long distance services and then later on make friends and then talk dirty to them and then in return ask them money. Lies and no refund of deposit

A friend of mine gave my phone number to a supposed manager named ALEX IBRAHIM of that false company based in California, he lied to me saying that the deposit was just for two days the time they check my informations. The time i found out the game, it was too late, they took my money from my bank account and whan i call now since October i have canceled that false telecom account, it's impossible to reach the named ALEX IBRAHIM anymore, and the others people fron their customer service make semblance to not speaking English.Finally the only supervisor who talked to me and said that my deposit will be within 45 days and then nothing until today( more than 5 months later).
Please be aware and never deal with those frauders

False rates

I received a call from an indian with an opening line "We are offering 4 cents a min to Lebanon". Now the cheapest I have heard of is 8 cents. So what I did was recorded the entire conversation. This call was followed by about 4 others from the same company and all were recorded. I finally figured that I had enough recorded evidence that if they tried to scam me I can fight back. I was also told that if I referred 3 people, which I did, I would get one number to call in Lebanon unlimited for 6 months as a thank you. Long story short, my wife started calling her mother everyday for a couple hours. 7 days later we were redirected to customer service because we exceeded our $100 limit. The company denied having these promotions and told me that I was responsible for the calls made. Since I had the recordings handy I played them to customer service who in return told me that I should know better and that no company offers these good rates and that I would get a bill for the full amount!!! Just waiting for the bill to come to mail them back a shove it up your a** letter. I did call my credit card company and got another card sent in the mail so they can't charge anything to it. I was also given wrong information to call India and now the bill is showing different figure. all the customer service is fake and unprofessional. I want my refund back and they hung phone on me. can you believe that.? Nuera is a fraud company...

They are one company called Uniontelecomusa com and nuera.net as one company who are based in South America in Peru who running by the management as Peruvian who does not have any Idea how to run a Call Center and plus the 2 x Supervisors up the management ### all run the business like the own home centre for the fun of it and plus Sandra has no Idea how to be a Supervisor and Tarun who suck ### the hole time as one of the worst Indian working over their as big corrupted person who stealing pins and sell them to their buddy's for money. Tarun is the one who take payment from the client who has not paid their account still from the Credit Cards on file with out calling the clients and that is Stealing big time.

    I get a call from some Pakistani guys and as I am pakistani, They said it is a good company and giving good rates and even before that they said It is a fever to your Pakistani brother if you get a service fron NuEra. But what a hell firstly they gave me a wrong number to connect the service. After three times reminder they gave me a active number to connect there service BUT a big BUT It was a complete mess, Not a good service even what I beleive it is not a service at all. When I call them to cancel the service now they are trying to say that, Do this, Do that then we will refund your money. Need a help. Can some one help me?

    I took service from nuera in june, at that time the guy that called me told me about the rates and he said there will be no contract.and he did told me about the deposit of $39.70 which will be returned to you within 24 hours .I truted him and then I started calling to india through their service .In august I told them that I would like to cancel my service and I would like my deposit back.since august /10 I am trying to get my depposit back but every time they have new person on the phone and new excuses.I called quite few times but then I called on oct01/10 and the guy he said to me that I can have $50.00 calling card instead of deposit money but I refused .Then I said Iwould like to talk to the supervisor and I did talk to the supervisor(I donot know if he was real or not)then he started offering me the calling card as well, I again refused.he said to me that you will get your deposit back within 20 days but nothing again . AND interesting thing that I find is that they take usa dollars from me.
    so my latest call was this morning nov 02/10, today the lady name MARITA answered my call .I told her everything and she said to call after 15 days because she is putting a request for refund .I was so mad that I said whatever I can to her. BUT really they are a RIPOFF . DONOT TAKE SERVICE WITH THEM .

    I used Nuera services and we signed an agreement. They told that I have to pay secure sum and when I will stop using the services they will refund it. However, I am trying to unsubscribe two weeks already and they always find the reason for not allowing me this!

    This company is involved in unfair and bad business practices. Their customer service reps tell lies to sell their services. Every time you call, you will get a strange person who would still lie to you. I have been asking for my refund for almost last five months. Whenever you call, they will tell you that I will get my refund in few weeks. Sometimes, they say I will get in one month or so. Their telecommunication service is very bad and they have a lot of hidden charges.

These guys are a complete scam. They say they will charge one rate and when you get the bill it is totally different. They took $50 deposit and said that it will be refunded when you leave...YEH RIGhT when I told them I need to leave they said that they will give me a $50 phone card and no money will be refunded BULL CRAP no one ever told me this when they were signing up a complete SCAM BE WARE OF THESE THUGS

    Nuera belong to Uniontelecom and they are based in South America in Peru were they agent can't even speak English or how to retain them and plus the hole crew working over their incl. Management with their Supervisors are all fraud to and stealing money from the company and from the people working over their. The company is a good service but not the call center who running by Peruvians in Peru .

Customer service rep. called me on April 6th, 2010. She offered me International long distance call to Banglaadesh for 2.99 cents per minute; no connection fee, no activation charge, no rounding. I had to pay deposit of $38.95, which I will get back when I won't have their service anymore. But when I received the first bill, I saw they charged more than they supposed to do. Now I want to cancell the service and want my deposit back. But they said, it's not deposit, it's activation fee(which is a lie).They refused to give my money back.

I received a call from a Private Caller with the number displayed. It was sales of Nuera Telecom. After the call I wanted to call them back. I re-dialled the displayed number. To my surprise the number got connected to a house. When I complained to the sales, they said that computer displays any available number in the system. Beware, Nuear is a fraud. How on earth they survive so long swindling people openly and no one can take any action against them?

    To my surprise the company charged me the full deposit amount, and I called them back. They promised to return the money but never did. When I got my bill there was a shocker, I got charged for calls I didn't even make, I was keeping a log as well as comparing to my cell phone bill calling to the access number. In addition, I was getting charged the full international calling rate.

    I cancelled the service. Don't fall for this scam.

Calling card Fraud, misrepresentation and misleading clients

This complaint is regarding a calling card company Nuera Telecom through which we registered for a service to call India at 1 Cents/minute; however, I was charged $6 for a call made to India for about 41 minutes (approx 14 Cents/minute).

I was contacted by a salesman of Nuera Telecom in Oct, 2009 who offered me a service for 1Cents/minute to call India. The offer was attractive as other cards charge 1.9 to 4.9 Cents/minute. We were asked to register on www.nueratel.com website. When registering we were not informed that we would be charged $38.95 for security. After signing up we noticed a $38.95 refundable written on the home page of the website, upon asking, the salesman replied we were charged a one time $38.95 security deposit refundable within 24 hours of disconnection of service. We got uncomfortable with the deal and later in the day decided to discontinue the service and asked for refund. That is when we were told several new terms and that $38.95 was refundable only after 45 days. They sent us link to a completely new website called nueratelecom.net with a password to login; as they said we would be able to view terms and conditions only when we register and login.

We waited and followed up for more than 3 months and every time there was a different story told. We did not receive any refund. After being completely harassed and fed up, when they offered a $50.00 worth of calling card with 1 Cents / minute rate to India instead of a refund, we opted it. I called India in the subsequent weeks and in approximate 41 minutes talk time I was charged $6 instead. When I called back to confirm why I was charged about 14cents/min, they dropped calls, put us on hold, told us they will check with technical services, and finally they said that the charges with connection fee and everything is 12Cents / minute. They are complete frauds and misrepresented information and misled us at every single step. We would like to know what action can be taken against them.

I have also put up a complaint against the company on the Better Business Bureau website.

    Guys, if you don't like Nuera, so go and sign up with Pulse Telecom. For $24.95/month you can make unlimited phone calls to India, Canada and USA (land line and cellular) and also to 16 European countries. All the calls are included in this plan.

    We have been Getting several Telemarketing Calls from Connect2world from India, they keep calling and calling day and night.

    Finally, we signed up for $20 with my Visa card. They Promised that they will activate my service within 10 mins of time. It has been more than 25 Days, my service is not activated.

    Moreover, today when i received my card statement, I was a bit shocked to see a $200 Charge by connect2world.

    Now, when I called the customer care number: 1-714-464-7400, no one picked the call. I was more Surprised when a Person by the name of Maksud Received the Call and said that the order was placed for $200 by me. When I said no, he started Arguing with me and later he started abusing me in very bad words.

    Finally, he said that he will block my service and make sure that I do not get my Money Back.


    For my uttermost Surprise, I also had a talk with the Call Center owner and he was just laughing his hearts out.


    I just want to aware all the Indians in USA and Canada, that please do not entertain any telemarketing calls from connect2world as this is my experience with them.

    I have nothing more to say apart from making a complain to BBB and lets see what else I can do to them.

    I did refer my friends to Maksud, I also need to check what He has done to my Friends.

    Connect2world is a Fraud Company, so please beware of Scams.

Poor and Terrible Service and Customer Service

We were lured in to this scam of getting this calling service through a customer service Rep who spoke our native language. They took $39.99 as refundable activation fee with promiss to refund ASAP if we did not like service. Any way we were unable to make any calls even after 1 week and had to call their customer service multiple times. Once we started to make calls, for minutes you will not hear any sound of getting call through than the voice quality would sound like speaking with some one in a hole or well. call would discoonect every now and than. getting a conection was very difficult.
Having been frusterated, called them to discontinue service and refund our activation fee. "Rose" a cust service rep said that service will not be disconnected till we recive and pay final bill, Now it was 19th of month and they told us to wait till 16th of next month, asked hem to get the bill out of our activation fee but they said that fee is non refundable and we will receive a calling card instead of our money after we pay final bill. Called to talk to some supervisor but the guy "Renzo" was extremely rude and unprofessional, he did not pay any attention to what we are saying and hung up on us. it is completely Poor service with most unprofessional bunch of people.

I have told this person name "Javed Iqbal" Please do not call me because i do not need any long distance calling . But this guy is keep calling me & use abusive language. Even though i have write down a complaint allready on this website but nothing is done & this guy is keep calling be & abusis me.

    Nueratelecom ena compania telefonica de lo peor me prometio 1000 minutos para navidad si ponia la larga distancia, eso me estuvieron diciendo por 15 dias, me llamaban todo el dia para decirme lo mismo, despues me dijieron que si la ponia rapido me daban 500 minutos mas para ano nuevo ahora resulta uqe son puras mentiras me estan cobrando lo que supuestamente era gratis, y reclamo y nunca me regresan la llamada, solo para cobrarme y si les quiero decir algo me dicen que despues me van a llamar, tambien dicen que el agente que me prometio los bonos ya no esta que lo corrieron porque estaba haciendo mal las cosa, cosa que yo no creo oviamente, npero eso lo hacen solo para estar enganando a la gente y robarla son unos desvergonzados.
