I got my whippy 2012 Toyota Prius serviced at North Bakersfield Toyota on 09/10. My check engine light and thermostat light was turning on and off for two weeks, so I thought it was better to get it checked. I was happy when the service guy said they will inspect everything, but later they told me everything was peachy and suggested that I needed new matts, which I politely declined. After that, my car started overheating, and I had problems with my engine, which could've been avoided if they had inspected my car correctly and done a good multi-point inspection. They cut corners and didn't do the required multi-point inspection. I always brought my car here for a check-up, but I still ended up in this mess. The worst part is when I asked what went wrong, but nobody listened, and they want me to pay a whopping $5,000 to fix everything. I raised a complaint with Toyota, but they still haven't called back. My car is just sitting in their service department, and my sugars have gone haywire since someone called me from the service. I even got my niece to help me call and email and have a word with the senior guy in service, but there hasn't been any progress. I was told there has been a change in ownership, and they've been cutting corners on customer service. I need help; it's not fair that I pay for their mistake.

I went to No. Bakersfield Toyota in June to get my car serviced and fix the AC that was making hot air come out of the back vents. They said I also had to do brake work and replace the front axle. I had to rent a car for three days while they ordered the parts. When I got my car back, the AC was still making hot air come out, even though it was over 100 degrees outside and I needed it fixed. I took my car back multiple times and each time they said they fixed it. I also had brake problems that almost got me killed and I had to get another mechanic to fix them. I spent over $4,000 and lots of time dealing with No. Bakersfield Toyota. They suggested I get another car. Finally, after many tries, they fixed the AC when I suggested they Google it. They said they might refund me for the brake work but then never did and I'm still waiting. This whole thing happened between April and November . I just want my $334.09 back now.
