Nike Corporate Decision to Pull

I will no longer purchase any Nike products for myself or my family ever. The way you have caved in to the pressure of a few loud-mouthed activists is shameful (the most recent being, of course, your pulling the fun and patriotic Betsy Ross tennis shoe, which I'd hoped to get for my 10-year-old daughter: do not try to tell me it was not for this reason).
I'm from Beaverton and have always been proud to support an Oregon company. Not any more. I'll go with Adidas or Reebok. There is no need to respond to this. The damage is done.

Nike Betsy Ross Shoe

Nike was once a brand to buy and wear proudly... now it's something to avoid. And legions of Americans who are both proud of our country and its flag will buy NOTHING from Nike.
Good work guys...another outstanding and brilliant marketing strategy (pissing off the 90% of Americans who respect the flag, and the blood given to defend what's behind it.

Nike Political stupidity

The reason you are able to be the company that you have become started with those 13 Colonies. You owe much to them. Without what they did during that time in history you would probably not exist at least not as a mega company that has no business judging the people that created this wonderful country.

Get off the political bandwagon and start being a company that I could consider buying products from again. Until you do I and my family will not purchase any of your products.

Nike Betsy ross addition

My platform was going to buy 25, 000 units but unfortunatley due to your platform and politial bias and disregard to the country that has allowed you to prosper we are moving to New balance an AMERICAN made shoe. Your pc has come at a time of great divisiveness and causes even more. The besty ross shoe has NOTHING to do with slavery YOU really need to research your history. Also you know what else white supremacist use EVERYTHING non supremacist use. Are we not allowed to have nothing anymore just because a few bad people owned used things that they were not intended to be used for. If thats the case noone should have anything.

I am very disappointed in Nike for caving to the likes of Colin Kaepernik, who does not have the respect of the football league or the country. So I am caving to what I think is the right thing to do, I will no longer purchase any Nike products. I am proud of my Governor for standing up for what is right and pulling the money from Nike coming to Goodyear, Az.

Nike Canceling the Betsy Ross Shoes

As a retired Naval Officer I am disappointed that Colin Kaepernick appears to run your marketing efforts and continues to discount people who have served their country honorably and view the flag differently. This historic flag is not racist, but since you folks like to back "victims" simply because they say they are victims, I will launch my own edcuational efforts to ensure people know what Nike stands for - people who discount the rights of people who honor our flag.

Nike your stance on betsy ross shoes

enough
The recall of the flag shoes has gone too far. It insults our independance day as well as our country.
Do we forget or refuse to honor our history, where do we say enough. She would boycott your company because the Swoosh was developed in the 70's during the vIetnam era. enough

This is it for me, I will never buy, or wear anything with your logo.

Nike AIR MAX 270

Hello,

We have purchased 2 pair of air max 270's in the last year and a half. We love the shoes and they are so comfortable. However, both my husband and my shoes have a hole on the inside where the big toe bone is on the side. These shoes are way to expensive to have this default in them and not be a quality product. One piece of netted cloth is not enough to prevent this from happening. Now we cannot even wear the shoes.

Nike Nike Patriotic Betsy Ross Flag themed shoe

Colin Kaepernick complained that a patriotic shoe was offensive. They pulled the shoe.

What a disaster! Don't pander to a public figure with a bad attitude. Better yet, keep the shoe and help Kaepernick find a new home under a flag that he can be proud of.

I am proud to be an American Citizen. I'm not proud of every bit of our history, but I am proud of who we are as a nation and a people. We adapt and overcome. I support the flag of the United States of America throughout history. As I said, I don't support the wrongs that we're committed, I'm pleased that we have proved ourselves better than that.

The shoe is phenomenal. The decision to pull it because of the controversial opinion of a know trouble maker is a poor choice. One of the worst Nike has made. They built the shoe, OWN IT!

Any company that can't support patriotism does not have my support. I'll support someone else until they support America again.

It's a shoe. That's not the statement. The design may have been marketing. The public makes purchases based on other things. This is as bad as not being able to fly a flag in my yard or at a government building. Suck it up and be a man Kaepernick. Nike, represent! Step up. People die for the flag. What has Colin done for it?

Nike Sneakers

I am angered that your company has decided to pull the sneakers with the Betsy Ross flag design because Colin Kaepernick finds it offensive. What about all the patriots who died fighting under that flag for our rights and freedom ( and yes that does include Colin Kaepernick whether he would like to admit it or not). I have purchased a lot of your products in the past, but will no longer support your company in any way. A lot of people I know feel the same way. To put the feelings of a has been football player over millions of patriotic Americans is ridiculous.

Nike Colin Kaepernick

Dear Nike,

I have 12 Grandchildren 8 Boys, 4 Girls and will never again, no matter how much they beg, buy any Nike products.

Why is Colin Kaepernick's voice more important than mine, as a consumer.

My family was not even in this country when slavery occurred. You are listening to this poor excuse of a Quaterback?

I am done and you will be too!

Nike Other

Just so you know... African Americans fought on both sides of the Revolutionary War. The British conscripted Them. The American side was a volunteer system. They saved Washington's siege
by taking Redoubt # 9 at the battle of Yorktown. Washington owned slaves but they were not ill treated and were freed upon his death. Jefferson also owned but was opposed to slavery. The times were, the times. Are we supposed to erase history because of Colin Kappernick? He's blessed by living in this country compared to where he might have grown up. He himself would never have been born without the deplorable use of slavery. He should use his opportunity more wisely. "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it." He is simply a "news [censored]". He wants to stay relevant.

Nike lack of patriotism

Your decision to pull your Betsy Ross sneakers has cost you a life long customer. Not only will I no longer purchase Nike products I will be lobbying my local colleges and school districts to no longer purchase your products as well. If our country ‘s history is not something you can support then you no longer deserve the country's tax payer dollars.

Nike Woman’s Nike 97s

Love 97s I remember the style back then. Spent £ 145 on a new pair. Unfortunately after trying for a month, with socks, plasters I can not wear them. I'm going to have to put them in the wardrobe and buy another pair.
Why there must be a design fault. My feet are bloody and sore. At the top of the rim the line stops. It's this that digs into the side of both of my feet. Im disappointed and I'm sure I can't be the only person to experience this with them. Bloody irritating..
I don't know me doing this will achieve. Just making my feelings known of dissatisfaction with this product.

Regards Rebecca

Nike Nike’s Relationship with Kaepernick

Dear Nike,

You have lost a lifelong customer and the entire family of that customer from all future purchases of all Nike products. I began my sports career in 1978. I have worn Nike shoes my entire life. I ran track and cross-country in college on a scholarship and only wore Nike Pegasus shoes for training. My children are garments predominately in Nike clothing for their sports. All of that ends today.

I tried to ignore the fact that you sided with somebody who I considered derelict. I was not upset because of the idea of kneeling during the national anthem. I was upset because he was there to do a job and his place of employment is not the place to protest. None of the rest of us show up at work and get to not do what we're asked to do in a form of protest without losing our jobs. Therefore, if he was not picked up by other teams that is the product of his actions. Despite the fact that I was very disturbed by your willingness to pick up Colin Kaepernick's political cause I did not out right ban your products from my home.

Today, however, I woke up to discover that you will turn to Colin Kaepernick to decide which history of the United States is valid and appropriate for use in your products. The idea that a mediocre football player who chooses the wrong forum to protest something unrelated to the flag is now the gatekeeper for what appropriate historical events can be supported by Nike is pathetic. Do we have to erase all of our history prior to 1865 if he says so? Do we have to raise all of our history prior to the civil rights acts of the 1960s?

I hope you fail as a company. I hope you go bankrupt. What is amazing about the fact that I make those statements to you, is that until this incident you were my favorite company in the world. I did my senior thesis on the history of your company, its beginning, and it's marketing strategy that put it on top. Now, I am embarrassed for you and embarrassed to wear your products. I estimate the total loss will be nothing for you. We probably spend a few thousand dollars a year in our household on Nike products. You won't notice we are gone. Hopefully, my home is just the start and that many more people like me will turn away from you.

I'm sure you and Colin will have a bright future together.

Jim Hewitt

Nike Betsy Ross

Since Nike decided to have the kneeling Colin Kapernick in their ads, I have not purchased even a sock from this company- I have also managed to persuade my family not to purchase from a company who has such little respect for the country, the flag, the anthem not to mention those men and women defending it. After hearing that they have chosen to pull the patriotic style sneaker the Betsy Ross on the advice of none other than the kneeler Kapernick, I have breathed a sigh of relief that I stuck to my previous promise to never buy another Nike product again. Bring on the Under Armour! Much better products anyway, so no sacrifice on my part.

Nike NIKE Corporate lack of patriotism

As a family we have decided will not spend our money on any product associated with your company. It is a great opportunity for the kids to learn how to determine the structure of a company and what products that company produces.

A public corporation has a duty to ALL of its shareholders and its job does not include taking time to become involved in ANY political dispute. Wayfair said it best when they said their job is to sell product so long as it is legal. I hope Nike's decision results in a large decrease in sales that send a message from the American people.

Nike new shoe to be released today, 13 stars and stripes

Since when does our flag represent slavery? I am offended that your company pulls a shoe because someone complains that a flag with 13 stars represents slavery. It does not, it represents our original colonies and the beginning of this nation.
I am sick and tired of everything being offensive to a few and they have enough power to control a situation for the rest of us.
Not everything is offensive but those who look for it to be offensive will always seem to find something that is offensive. I am frankly sick of it and will not buy any Nike product now because of this ridiculous decision by this company.

Nike betsy ross flag shoes

Your decision to remove the Betsy Ross Flag shoes from the market is ludicrous! There is absolutely nothing racist about the patriotism Betsy Ross displayed in service to our young nation. Mr. Kaepernick tells you something is associated with a "time of slavery, " and you're supposed to distance yourself from everything associated with that particular time?! Hogwash! Using the same fallacious argument, perhaps you should forbid your employees from ever using anything that existed in some form prior to January 1, 1863! Mr. Kaepernick is one of the least patriotic Americans I have ever seen, and you are guiding your marketing according to his thoughts? For shame, Nike. Until you quit dancing to this lunatic's tune, I will not be spending any money whatsoever on Nike products. It is past time for corporations in this great country to lead the way by refusing to bow to the capricious whims of the far, far, political Left.

Nike pulling special 4th of july patriotic sneakers

Whoever is making marketing decisions for your company is a complete pandering idiot. To pull a patriotic item after development and production because Colin Kapernick is offended, offends me and that is why I no longer purchase anything Nike. Somebody needs to get their proverbial head out of their rear and start using their head and realize you are alienating a lot of people because you have no conviction or fortitude. Your company decisions are pathetic.

Nike marketing decision...

I'd like to purchase a pair of running shoes with the American flag on the back. Do you know where I might find a pair? Maybe Adidas, New Balance, etc.?

You let a disenfranchised athlete dictate your marketing decisions? You gotta be kidding me. NOBODY cares about him any more. Tell him and your decision-makers to grow up. Recommend to Collin to try to have his life style in ANY OTHER country on the planet. If he hates this country so much, why is he still here? Hmmmm.?

Yes, I'm a retired Vet and I'll NEVER buy your products again.

Thanks and good luck with your strategy,

Alan
