I have been shocked by the recent bans of some folks on ND and the, Kitty Mews post and ND's lack of technology when one posts on a specific post.
A wonderful women who rescues, foster's kitties and posts cat pictures, meme's and, laughter for those who need it was indefinitely banned from ND for 4 cat pictures in 1 day with memes. The person on ND's review team flagged her 58 times and she ended up in ND's, 'jail' for 2 1/2 weeks! She was told to start her own private post, invite only and when she did, she was banned for a year. Some of us started protesting and, some, were banned from ND for their protest posts! If this is not, dictatorship and, censorship, I do not know what is! Their, 'guidelines' are vague and ND fits it to their, control power!

Moderators cannot ban people - that is the only thing that Nextdoor does on its own often times with no reasons we can understand. But consistently flagging accounts may be getting folks
On their radar. We don't know. Moderators have zero contact directly with Nextdoor who answers nothing and expects moderators to do all the work for them for free. But then also invites people
Defying the TOS and guidelines to be moderators. It's awful site.
