Applying to be a welcome team member or lead/moderator/reviewer should be a transparent process, should require qualifications (like a college education or higher degree, full understanding of English, accredited training against personal bias, at least 6 months in an area, etc...) They should have to fill out an application and go through an approval process, not just get in from a personal referral and videos. They should have to take an initial test in order to be approved, too, and receive 2 hours of annual continuous training also involving a decent test with only 2 times to pass it. If they fail, they should have to wait a year to try again.
Leads seem to lack intelligence. I know one who refuses to take medication and has a long-standing schizophrenia diagnosis. Others seem simple-minded, biased, unwelcoming, unsupportive, argumentative and unintelligent. One didn't like me because we had a personal disagreement one time, so she got other leads to try to mob me, watching my every move. The company seems to only get new leads from referrals made by other leads which eventually results in a serious decline in quality leading. That's why I advocate for a more traditional, stringent process in becoming a lead/moderator/reviewer or welcome team member.

Nextdoor "policies" is to push left-wing agenda and silence the Conservatives and Christians! I was a moderator on Nextdoor for over 10 years and the leads/reviewers ganged up on me constantly. They even did it AFTER I deactivated my Nextdoor account (I just got an email stating that a LEAD badmouthed and made fun of me, broadcasting on the mainfeed that I'd deactivated my account and had left!) - I got that heads-up from a friend who is still on the platform this morning! THAT is the kind of people on the Nextdoor platform.
Nextdoor platform is causing the community to hate each other. The leads and reviewers tattle on each other, inform their "friends" and "neighbors" who has reported them and then comes after them - and Nextdoor turns around and suspends or terminates the one who got attack for trying to uphold their guidelines. By the way - the "Nextdoor guidelines" is a total joke. They only use those to SILENCE Conservatives and Christians. The amount of scamming, lies, hate, snarky remarks, disrespect, shaming is encouraged on Nextdoor actually. I had a guy physically threaten me on personal messaging - I reported it to Nextdoor and they did absolutely NOTHING. They didn't even temporarily suspend him! It is an unsafe place. If someone reports someone it will be the reporter who gets suspended or terminated. This is all fact - I saw it for over 10 years and that is why I finally said enough and deactivated my account. NEVER going back.
