Nextdoor is most assuredly biased in their application of guidelines. Reading their help pages and other informational pages shows they are most assuredly of the leftist mindset. They assist or turn a blind eye to corrupt moderators/reviewers that team up against people with differing viewpoints and practically always support this corruption. I've been told by reviewers and leads on Nextdoor that there are members that have banded together to make frivolous reports of content only because they do not agree with another member. Some of the comments by leftist members that operate as I've stated will themselves make vile and hate filled comments with little to no consequences.
Recommendation: Understand that unless your entire world revolves around lost cats and who mows grass or clears snow cheaply, there is no appreciable value to Nextdoor.

I agree with your assessment as they suspend me on a regular basis for disagreement with leftists. It doesn't stop me. It will never stop me from calling out their lies
I got suspended for just asking a question concerning the actions of a liberal person!
They arent leaning left or right, they just have a poor moderation model and appeal process, that lets biased local moderators target posts they dont favor, by flagging them as a group, thereby escalating to Nextdoor for further action beyond just post deletion (upto disabling accounts).
In MAGA or right-leaning neighborhoods, the same biased moderation occurs against left or moderate leaning posters.
I believe Nextdoor knows this, and is complicit in this abuse of moderation, but disciplining or replacing the FREE labor (as Leads and mods) will cost them, so they ignore it. Additionally, they let go of most of their 'live' appeals folks some time ago, and pivoted to fewer (domestic or foreign) 'live' folk, as well as AI-bots, to handle the 'appeals'. I believe the former is poorly trained, poorly paid, and overwhelmed, and the AI is bad, so the expected result is automatic acceptance based on what the local mods flag.
