New York Safety Council NY Safety Council Driver Safety Training - ---Stay Away

DO NOT use this NYS National Safety Council Driver Safety Course . I was just finishing up Module 3 very long so was tired and I for some stupid reason answered 2 security questions wrong. So they locked me out. So instead of reverifying my identity and letting me back in they say I have to pay for a new course and start over again. How Absurd ! This is a money making scam and completely unfair. Do Not under any circumstances take this course find another !

Recommendation: Find a different Vendor's Course----Stay AWAY

New York Safety Council Beware of New York Safety Council for Online Safety Courses: Intrusive Policies and Frustrating User Experience

If you're looking for an online safety course provider, I would strongly advise against using New York Safety Council (newyorksafetycouncil.com). From my personal experience, their policies are frustratingly intrusive and their passive-aggressive tone is off-putting.

One particularly frustrating policy requires students to periodically call in and recite a series of seemingly random numbers. If your ID number doesn't get picked up during the call, you may find yourself locked out of the course. It's a needless hassle that adds unnecessary stress to an already tedious task.

But if you think that's bad, just try to switch to a different course - it's a whole new level of frustration. For some reason, you're forced to create a completely separate account instead of simply being able to switch to a different course on your current account.

All in all, my experience with New York Safety Council has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I would recommend looking into alternative course providers that offer a smoother, less invasive experience.

New York Safety Council Disappointing experience with New York Safety Council's online defensive driving course and customer service

I recently tried to sign up for the online defensive driving course on New York Safety Council's website. The price of $19.95 caught my eye, but after entering my personal information such as my driver's license number and insurance policy, I was blocked from taking the course. The system asked me which state I got a ticket in, but I had never received a ticket and there was no way to enter that information. I was left feeling frustrated as the system would not allow me to continue with the course.

Despite my attempts to reach out to New York Safety Council through emails and phone calls, I did not receive a response. This left me feeling unsure about the legitimacy of the business. I have concerns that they may be using my personal information for their own gain, rather than providing the service they promised.

Overall, my experience with New York Safety Council was not positive and left me feeling uncertain about their business practices. I hope for more transparency and improved communication from their team in the future.

New York Safety Council New York Safety Council Website Review: Unfair, Scam-like Practices and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, this New York Safety Council website isn't no good at all. They changed the course so much it makes me feel like they're trying to scam me! And if you get a question wrong, they just lock you out and make you pay again, no matter where you are in the course. I mean come on now, that ain't fair. I tried emailing them and at first they replied fast, but as soon as I asked for a refund, they stopped answering me. And you know what really grinds my gears? There's nothing in the fine print when you pay that says they'll do this to you. That ain't right, you know? Seems like a real bad business. I definitely would not recommend it. I suggest you go ahead and find another course that won't try to steal your money like these cats.

New York Safety Council New York Safety Council Course Review: Lousy Customer Service and Long Completion Time

I gotta tell ya, this safety course from New York Safety Council was a real doozy. It took me quite a bit longer than anticipated, and I ended up losing a whole weekend trying to finish it up. To make matters worse, I still haven't received my Certificate of Completion and I've been trying to get in touch with someone, anyone, from the company to figure out what's going on. No one answers the phone, no one responds to my emails, and there's no live chat to speak of. What a bunch of lousy customer service!

I'm pretty annoyed at this point and feel like I've wasted my money and my valuable and limited time. You know, I wish I had read some of these here reviews before I went ahead and signed up for this thing. Maybe if more people spoke out, others wouldn't be taken in by this scam like I was.

It's frustrating that this safety course took up so many hours, but I'm hopeful that at least it will help me keep myself and others safe. Assuming, of course, that I ever receive my certificate! All I can do now is wait and hope that I can finally get some sort of answer. Fingers crossed, y'all.

New York Safety Council Frustrating Course Experience: A Review of New York Safety Council's Online Safety Course

I recently took a course on the New York Safety Council website and I have to say, it was quite frustrating. The course itself wasn't too bad, but they've made some changes that made it difficult for me to progress through the material. For instance, if you answer the security questions wrong, they'll block you out of the course and make you start over from the beginning. Unfortunately, this happened to me when I was on module 4 with only three more to go. I thought I answered the right security question - the color of my car - but apparently, I didn't.

The worst part is that they expect you to reregister and pay again every time you get blocked out, no matter how far along you are in the course. I find this to be totally unfair to students like me who've already put in the time and effort to complete a significant portion of the course. I mean, who wants to pay twice for something they've already paid for?

Overall, I would not recommend taking a course on the New York Safety Council website. The course is decent enough, but the strict rules and policies make it difficult for students to progress through the material. If you're thinking about taking an online safety course, I suggest looking elsewhere to ensure you get the best experience possible.

New York Safety Council Disappointing Experience with New York Safety Council's Course and Customer Service

Hey, let me tell you about my experience with New York Safety Council's course. First of all, I have to admit that the voice biometrics were a bit iffy. Sometimes I had trouble due to external noise like a car siren or maybe just a day with a bit of asthma. But hey, that's life, right?

So halfway through the course, I ran into a bit of trouble. I was sitting in the same pretty quiet room with my computer as always, but I failed the voice ID twice. And then, bam, I was locked out. It was a Saturday at 1 pm, so to say I was frustrated would be an understatement.

I decided to chat with the Help team, but when I saw that there was a 36 minute wait time, I almost lost it. And then, to make matters worse, the window disappeared. I was at my wit's end. I sent out a Contact Us email, hoping for the best, but it's been four hours and I still haven't heard anything back.

You know what's really frustrating? When your insurance agent recommends a company and then things go wrong. I regret not reading reviews before signing up with New York Safety Council, but at least I know now why they had that ? price sale. It's because the other half of the money will be spent buying another course from them, or maybe even from another company.

So to sum it up, I'm a bit disappointed with the course and the customer service. But hey, life goes on. I hope they can improve in the future!

New York Safety Council Terrible Experience with New York Safety Council Defensive Driving Course

Yo, I gots ta tell ya bout my experience with New York Safety Council. I been usin‘ them for a hot minute now, but recently I had to take their defensive drivin' course again. So, I ponied up for the Premier package ‘cause I wanna make sure I pass with flyin' colors. But what happened? I'm halfway through the course and I’m gettin' some questions wrong and then all of a sudden, I'm locked out! I tried callin', writin', emailin’, but it was like talkin' to a brick wall. I couldn't get no response from them at all. Finally, I tried chattin' with someone, but that dude just told me I gotta pay again since I got locked out. Are you kiddin' me?! Ain't that some garbage!

Let me tell you, I am so done with this company. Ain't no way I'm ever using them again. I don't know what happened to ‘em, but they ain't the same. I wanna tell all y'all out there, don't ever even think about usin' New York Safety Council. I'd rather sit in a live class with a teacher than gettin' locked out and havin' no way to even contact them. It's just a joke!

But seriously, y'all need to watch out for this company. Ain't nobody should have to deal with their mess. It ain't worth the headache or the money.

New York Safety Council New York Safety Council's IPIRP Course: Waste of Money and Time

My hard-earned cash was wasted when I signed up for the New York Safety Council's IPIRP course, but today was the absolute last day to complete it. Despite that, I still found myself going through the modules at a leisurely pace and genuinely enjoying the content. I did have to go through the voice recognition security, but that was no problem for me. I was also able to log in and out without any difficulty.

The only real issue I had was with the security questions, which seemed incorrect when it came to both attempts and answers. While I was working my way through the sections, my grandchildren showed up in their Halloween costumes and I got briefly distracted (even though I had clicked "keep me logged in"). Unfortunately, that distraction ended up being the end of my progress. I couldn't log back in, and I've felt pretty foolish ever since.

I've seen others complain that this course is just a way for the New York Safety Council to collect fees multiple times, and I can't say that I disagree. They'll find any excuse to make you pay again. If you happen to get a phone call while you're in the middle of something, just go make a cup of coffee or burn your toast because when you come back, you'll be locked out. In my humble opinion, this whole thing is completely unrealistic. I highly recommend that you don't waste your time with it.

New York Safety Council New York Safety Council Website Review: Poor Customer Service and Technical Issues

I was pretty excited to start my 6-hour driving course with the New York Safety Council website. All it cost me was $20, which I thought was a pretty good deal. However, my excitement soon turned to disappointment. When I was about two hours into my course, I came across a quiz question that stumped me. Unfortunately, the website locked me out of the course before I could even attempt to answer the third question. I was pretty annoyed about this, but I decided to reach out to their Chat person for help.

The Chat person took an incredibly long time to respond, over 45 minutes to be exact. Then, to make matters worse, they took another 4-5 minutes to reply to each subsequent message. Eventually, I was told that I had to re-register if I wanted to continue my course. I wasn't happy about this, but I decided to ask about the issue with the third question. Unfortunately, the person on the other end of the chat didn't respond to my question at all. After waiting impatiently for about 10 minutes, I eventually left the website in frustration. The only thing left for me to do was pay another $20 to retake the entire course.

After that experience, I decided to try out a different website called IDriveSafely.com. I didn't want to have to deal with the New York Safety Council's terrible customer service again. Luckily, I was able to complete my driving course on IDriveSafely.com without any issues. I have to say, I'm joining the many others out there warning people about the New York Safety Council website. It's not worth your time and money if you're going to run into problems like the one I did.

New York Safety Council Deaf individuals beware: Inaccessible voice authentication and unhelpful customer service make safety course a waste of time

I can't believe this site, man. I tried to get through the course, but it was TOUGH. It's a real bummer when you're deaf like me and they don't have no options for voice authentication. I had trouble with that Jeanette and Rhonda on the live chat, too. I was talking to them and all of a sudden they just disconnected me! And then I waited and waited and waited, but nobody ever helped me. My account got locked up when I tried doing that biometrics thing. I couldn't get no interpreter service to unlock my account, so basically I was stuck. The kicker is that the biometrics verification, it's got a time limit, and I couldn't get my information in there before time ran out.

So I talked to the live chat people again, but they didn't seem to care about my problems at all. I told them I could get logged into my account okay, but I just can't do the voice thing. They didn't seem interested, just told me to wait some more. It's kind of messed up, you know? They're supposed to be a safety council, but they ain't even deaf-friendly. That's breaking the law, man. The Americans with Disabilities Act says they gotta help us out, but seems like they don't got no intention of doing that.

I was just one Module away from finishing that darn course. All I wanted was to get in there and get it done, but it was like hitting my head against a brick wall. More time I spent trying to access the course than actually watching it, you know what I'm saying? I'm telling you right now, if you're deaf like me, don't bother with this course. Save your time and find something else.

New York Safety Council Worst Experience with New York Safety Council Course - No Certificate Received & Poor Customer Support

So, I done did the course at the New York Safety Council and I even paid a little extra to have it sent to me real quick-like, but I never got my certificate. I been tryin' to call 'em up on the phone five times now and ain't nobody answerin'. I done emailed 'em ten times too, but ain't nobody ever written back. Plus, that live chat thing they got goin' on, it never worked neither. This has been, hands down, the worst experience I ever had with a course. And believe me, I done took a few over the years. New York Safety Council Unreliable and Incompetent: My Experience with the New York Safety Council Website

So, I went to the New York Safety Council website to take a course so I can get my certificate. Back in the day, this site was all good, but now it ain't so much. Seems like the company got bought out or something. The customer service isn't that good now and you can't even get a certificate after you finish the course. I had to call up my bank to dispute my charge. Can you believe that? And to make matters worse, the site is still listed on the DMV website as being legit. But trust me, it's not.

I don't want you to make the same mistake I did, thinking this site is still good to use. It's not worth your time or your hard-earned money. Stick to some of the other legitimate options out there. Don't be fooled by this site's claim.

New York Safety Council Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with New York Safety Council

This place is a joke! I have needed to get a safety certification completed and was recommended to try New York Safety Council. What a mistake that was! Let me tell you, I have never experienced such a lack of customer service. I have attempted to contact them multiple times, but it seems like no one is ever there to answer the phone. I tried calling twice and was on hold for a grand total of two hours each time! It's ridiculous!

I then tried chatting with them online four different times, but each time it just kept trying to connect and then would say that I should try again later. What kind of service is that?! I also tried sending two emails, but have still yet to get a response.

The worst part of all this is that I need to complete this course within a certain time frame, and it's ticking away while I am out my hard-earned money and wasting so much time trying to get ahold of someone for help. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your safety certification needs.

New York Safety Council Unreliable and Inaccessible: My Experience with the New York Safety Council

if you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy safety council in New York.

So, I had a pretty rough experience with the New York Safety Council. It was nothing like I expected. My husband and I got locked out and blocked from accessing their website, and we couldn't get in touch with any representatives through the phone, email or chat. It was so frustrating!

I even started to think that it might have been a scam. That's why I cancelled my credit card purchases and decided to move on to another safety council.

To make matters worse, I noticed that the reviews on their website were from 2017! That's a bit strange, right? It made me doubt the credibility of their organization.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this safety council to anyone. It's just not worth the headache. There are better and more reliable options out there, so save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

New York Safety Council Beware: My Terrible Experience with New York Safety Council. A Review

So, I recently found this website that’s supposed to help you take driving courses, it’s called New York Safety Council. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. It was like they were tricking me right from the start.

I paid for the service and went through the course, but then when it came time to take the test, the system had some security stuff that I didn’t really understand. Apparently, I made a mistake and couldn’t finish the test. But instead of helping me fix the problem, they just kept my money!

I tried to reach out to them and explain the situation, but they wouldn’t listen to me. They just acted like it was all my fault and refused to give me a refund. I don’t know what to do now, and it feels like I’ve been scammed. I wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone, just beware that they might take your cash and run.

New York Safety Council Terrible Experience with New York Safety Council - Certificate Delayed and No Customer Support

I made a purchase on 03/24/21 from the New York Safety Council website and completed it on the same day. But then, their system shows that I didn't finish the course again on 04/13/21. It's been 60 days since then, and I am still waiting for my certificate. No one has reached out to me, and it seems like no one knows what is going on. This experience has been so frustrating, and I do not plan on using this site again. The only thing they are good at is taking your money. I suggest finding somewhere else to go because the amount of time and energy spent trying to figure things out with the New York Safety Council is not worth it at all.

New York Safety Council Terrible Experience with New York Safety Council: Save Yourself the Trouble!

So, like, I had a pretty bad experience wit New York Safety Council. I mean, I paid for a course and everything and when I tried to log in, it kept saying my info was no good. Like, seriously? I waited for three whole hours to talk to someone on their live chat, and they said the wait time was only 11 minutes! That's just not cool, man.

I got pretty frustrated and sent an email demanding my money back. If they don't give it to me, I'm gonna have to take it up with the BBB. And honestly, if it comes to it, I might even start a class action lawsuit. It's just not right to take people's money and not give them any service in return.

So, like, if you're thinking about signing up for a course with New York Safety Council, you might wanna think twice. It's not worth the hassle and the headaches.

New York Safety Council Mixed Experience with NY Safety Council's Online Course

So, I gotta tell ya, I've used NY Safety Council's online course before with no issues. But this year, things went awry. I ended up getting locked out of the course not once, but twice, thanks to the apparently overzealous voice recognition system. And let me tell ya, the wait times on hold to speak to a live person were brutal. Each time, I was on the phone for a whopping hour and a half before anyone could help me out and remove the pesky "locked out" problem.

Now, I'm not saying don't use NY Safety Council altogether, but maybe consider looking into an alternative program or even an in-person class in the future. No one wants to feel like they're banging their head against a wall trying to complete a safety course, amirite?

Overall, I guess I would say the experience left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but I'll still give NY Safety Council some props for their past efforts. Here's hoping they can iron out these kinks going forward.

New York Safety Council New York Safety Council Scam Review: Locked Out of Course During COVID-19, Zero Customer Service

So, I used New York Safety Council to do my course and, man, did I get conned. Just when I had three days left to complete my online course, I ended up getting COVID and was feeling all sorts of yuck. I was quite close to finishing, just four chapters away, and guess what? They locked me out! What kind of a scam is this? Three days is a lot of time, and it was all taken away in the blink of an eye.

I contacted customer service to try and resolve this issue, but they weren't even helpful one bit. Talk about zero customer service, am I right? And now, they expect me to repay for this crappy service? I don't think so. I am not going to fall for this scam again. I will not give these people my hard-earned money so that they can rip me off and lock me out of my account again.

To conclude, New York Safety Council is a total scam. They will rip you off and not give a hoot about your plight. They don't care if you get locked out or if you're suffering through no fault of your own. They just want to take your money and run, leaving you high and dry. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I blocked out for no reason and the customer service not answering me at all. I tried several times, and tge chat said i have to wait 2 minutes, but I'm waited more than 1 hour, and they not answered.

Horrible customer service, and software.

If you want a defensive driver course, please check another platform, because I'm afraid it's a scam
