AC repair on 9/6 made the gas valve line go bye-bye. On 10/29, the biz tried to charge 80 bucks and a service mem. to check things out. We had an AC repair on 9/6, invoice XXXXXXX, and it messed up the gas valve line and needed a new motor. On 10/29, we called the biz 'cause our heating unit was acting up. We told 'em my husband works for the gas company and thought the gas valve got turned off during the repair. The manager said we gotta pay 80 bucks for an inspection and tried to sell us a membership. She said since we had 2 problems in less than 2 months, it's best to buy the membership. She said a tech can't come until Saturday 10/31 between 2-5 pm. My husband went up to the attic and turned the gas valve back on. We called the company on Saturday at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, left messages, but no response. At 3:00 pm, we called again and talked to the manager. She said she got the message and canceled the tech visit, but didn't call us back like we asked. She said she wasn't trying to rip us off and blamed being busy the day before. I told her the customer service was bad 'cause they did a service but didn't follow up on our complaint. She said sorry and sent us a coupon for 25 bucks off our next service, but it expires on 12/31. I asked about the hassle of having to go in the attic to turn on the valve that her employee turned off. I also asked about the usual procedure for techs to make sure everything works after repairs. Then she said she was in the hospital and couldn't respond to the voice messages. She also said she's sure it was an accident that the valve wasn't turned back on. It's weird they wouldn't come out and check the unit without charging us or trying to sell us a membership. The manager also said my husband, being a gas company employee, should know that we need annual maintenance and to change filters. I know lots of people in the area do this, 'cause my husband works with gas company techs who deal with many companies. Just for the inconvenience and bad customer service, we should've gotten more than a 25 bucks off coupon that expires on 12/31. This was their fault and they wouldn't admit it. They tried to take advantage of me as a female customer, which is rude. Most companies would've offered a free inspection or a free 1 year membership. I attached the old repair bill. Sadly, they lost a potential repeat customer and others should be warned about their scam.

NRS is a great company
NRS is a great company. They really care about their customers and work hard to go above and beyond. They make sure to follow up and send a handyman for any touch-up work. It's nice to see a company that genuinely cares about what they do. We're really happy we found them!

Charlie was my service technician and he was great!
Charlie was my service technician and he was great! He called to let me know he was on his way, arrived on time, wore a mask and shoe covers. He was really nice and knew a lot about what he was doing. He did a complete system check for me, explaining everything as he went along and keeping me updated on all the results. I would suggest NRS for HVAC service and I really liked Charlie as a friendly, professional technician.
