Can not see my micro camera when using the Debute software with my Miro camera...I tried calling NCH Software but they won't make a connection unless I enter a numerical code. Pretty bad service!

I am using 5-8 of there (NCH) applications, and have never experienced a problem with their programs. Each program is straightforward & does what it is describer to do very effectively. NCH Keep designing additional aps in this way. Robert

So far so good! We downloaded the free beta version and it worked quickly and seamlessly, even storing the conversion in the same place as my original MP4. We're buying a copy of the licensed version for one of our offices that requires file conversion software.

I just downloaded Prizm video converter and had tested prior versions. NCH has been legit over the years and I appreciate them offering free versions of some of their products to test the features. I like that this app includes a MS DV Codec that creates a truly compatible file when I use Adobe Premiere Pro.

I purchased four of NCH Software products in 2018. Today, I wan t to use the product that I own, I can't because I need to purchase an upgrade. I should be able to use the version that I purchased. A rip-off, riches will not come this way. For every cheated customer ten are lost due to greed. Just because your greed is not illegal does not make-it right.

Been running the same program for about 2 years now, suddenly I cannot edit I cannot do anything unless I update my app, because it is laggy and doesnt ever load fully. So I finally say I'll upgrade not realizing it was going to cost me an additional $60+ after I had already purchased the full version. The fact I have to pay when this company "fixes bugs" that I wasnt having a week ago, now suddenly the product is unusable and because of their "bug fixes" I have to pay...NOPE

Always reliable. It pretty much always does what it says it will! I have Debut, Express Burn, Express Rip, Pixcellon, RecordPad, Switch, and Wavepad. I have experienced some annoyance when an existing version will no longer work when Microsoft has upgraded Windows and the NCH version I am using will no longer run. But I don't actually blame NCH for not writing their software to be compatible with an operating system that doesn't exist yet. I was also disappointed when WavePad was unable to remove wind noise from a video very effectively, but I must say that I have not found anything else that will do a better job.

The Good: I've never encountered a format this software couldn't handle. It's adept at converting obscure formats and adjusting volume levels and bit-rates. An excellent product. All NCH trial versions I've tested are impressive. Their products won't disappoint, though they may lighten your wallet. The Bad: It's costly for me. The license is limited to one PC. While it's a utility, not a comprehensive suite, there are free alternatives. It's about $20 per computer with a discount, up to $40 without. I'd prefer a license for two or three devices, like some competitors offer. I adore the program and have two licenses, but I'll hold off on more until the terms improve.

I purchased a plan which was cancelled back in 2019 however I continue to get billed on a qtrly basis to this day by NCH Software; after numerous emails contacting their customer support (dating back to 2019), I'm told my account is closed and I should not be charged but that is not the case as charges continue to impact my bank statement

I thought I was buying Microsoft Money through Microsoft and was redirect to this website where the purchase of software was done. The price was $39.95 and I was then charge in a foreign country (Australia) for $45.09 (Australian) plus foreign transaction fee $1.35. I contact *** at [protected]@nchsoftware.com two email and they are no ignoring me.

I purchased a software program from the NCH software website called mixpad home edition on May 10th for $69.99 I have written them numerous times and chatted with them asking for a refund. Each time I am assured of a refund yet, no refund... I just want the $69.99 refunded to my PayPal account. Terrible customer service. I do not like the software and requested a refund the same day I bought it. It is now 30 days and no refund.

I purchased PhotoPad Photo Editor Pro from NCH software with a registration code activated on 2019-05-14 under my name. I completed the payment in three installments and was assured of perpetual ownership. However, when I attempt to use it, a message indicates my subscription has expired. I've been trying to contact NCH for assistance but to no avail.

In March I purchased Express Invoice program from this company. They had advertised it as being in the cloud so you could access it from anywhere. That feature did not work. I complained to them and they said it was a "glitch". I contacted them a couple times only to get the excuse that they hadnt resolved it. Today I finally got an email that contained, supposedly, a "fix". Since I have had numerous software things that had "fixes" I downloaded it. I found that in fact it wiped out all the data I had put in it for over a year. They have horrible customer service and they make it almost impossible to access them so I called multiple times only to be told that I should have backed up the data. NOWHERE did it say to do that. Their response was just a shrug. Now all my invoices (they are running balances) are gone.

I purchased the Debut Video Recording Software sometime last year in Septemeber, I have emails as proof, a few days ago I went to go record something and it told me it needed an update so I let it update, but then it needed my computer to restart so I canceled the restart because I was working on something and the site I was on doesn't save my progress on my work, so today I go and start it up cause I want to record the thing I wanted to originally record and it tells me to enter my registration code, so I go and find it on my emails and I put the code in, it tells me I have to buy an upgrade if I want to use it, this is absolutely redundant, why did I pay $120 USD (I purchased a bundle of the recorder and editing software) just so I can pay another 60$ (it is on sale at the moment for 25$) for the same thing I have already bought, I find this to either be an issue on the companies end or on the softwares end.

I purchased a product online from NCH software that was widely advertised as being free for home, noncommercial use. There is no clear warning that it is a time-bound, trial-period that is free and that the free period expires after an undetermined amount of time. The video files can only be opened on the program and are not accessible when using any other video editing program. There is no warning that the free trial is ending, which would have allowed the user to convert to another, more usuable format. I just opened the program, after working many hours on a project, to find that I would have to pay for a program that I believed was free to even gain access to my projects. Additionally, this program is widely publicized as being a great program for beginners, who have minimal experience to know that the VPJ file is unique to this program and cannot be converted after the fact. This practice feels incredibly predatory, especially given that many new users will have spent countless hours on a project and will be essentially forced into paying for a product they believed was free (or choose to start their project all over).

On 14th May i purchased one license of VideoPad. I got a receit of 39.95 AUD accordingly, and a code for downloading. However when I checked my bank account balance, they had withdrawn another 39.95 AUD from my account. I e 2 x 39.95 AUD. Now when hooking up to a support chat they acknowledged that on that mailadress it has been withdrawn twice. I got no additional receipt for that. I do only want ONE license, and not two. Which I've ordered. Now, immediately notifying the refund department, some Jorge replied back that "Your refund request has been forwarded to the credit department and will get in touch with you shortly". Now, in spite of me reminding them for this each day, 14 days in a row, I have heard nothing from them, and no refunds (for ONE license) has been done on my bank account (checked this right now). As if that ain't enough, I wonder how this could occur. I e their paying page isn't that secure, if it randomly happens to charge another sum withdrawn from my account WITHOUT sending me another receipt of it. invoice ref :***. I only orderded one, got one, but they charged me twice. BTW, I still only can use one license, as the code has been sent to me. Not two.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a software program from the NCH software website called wavepad 3-month only plan on March 21st for $23.17. I am aware of this purchase since I agreed to buy this plan and I was invoiced for this right when I purchased the plan on March 21st, so this was fine. The contract (the plan) was supposed to end at June 21st because it's a 3-months plan but they invoiced me for another 3 months in July without telling me or sending me another invoice. I only found out later when $23.17 was charged on my credit card on July 30th. I requested a refund for this "another 3-month plan" claiming that I never agreed to extending the subscription nor received invoice for another 3 months, so this is a fraud. They said "we may considered the refund if you requested within 30 days" but without receiving the invoice, I would never know about the my plan was extended for another 3 months. Which 30 days are they talking about ? Because without the invoice, I would never know the plan was renewed or not. It's their responsibility to inform customer about renewing the service and they could have sent me the invoice if they did renew the plan as a proof. They never explain why they didn't send me a new invoice when the plan was renewed in June, meaning they just want to steal money from customer.

We purchased the item on April 30th. We have reached on the 1st of May requesting a refund WITHOUT trying FIRST to find a work around because the purchased product was not functioning as intended. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can assist you with. Best Regards, Ilich Ramirez. NCH Customer Service Team." we proceeded. By the 4th they informed us that: "On [protected]:43, ***, NCH Software wrote: Hi, It's certainly possible that BroadWave is incompatible with Parallels. We have other programs such as DreamPlan that don't run in VMs. Unfortunately, BroadWave is a closed product, meaning that it's no longer under development. You could report a bug at http://www.nch.com.au/software/bug.html but since the program isn't be actively developed, the report would probably simply be filed for future reference. Regards *** NCH Software" This email was making clear the issue and it became evident the service could not work. We requested a refund. Since then, Silence Radio. We sent 4 requests that went completely disregarded and unanswered. This has become obviously concerning that this company has suddenly ceased to respond when we asked to refund. We certainly was wondering of their intent, as we began to search for other avenue to reach a conclusion.
