STAY AWAY FROM SIGNING UP FOR NFL+ Premium through the NFL.com website. There is virtually no customer service or technical support. They take your money and run.

I signed up for NFL+ Premium online at NFL.com. My sole purpose was to be able to watch NFL RedZone on our 2018 Samsung smart TV. We downloaded the NFL app on our TV but when we wanted to watch NFL RedZone starting on Sunday, September 7, 2025, all we got was a black screen. We were able to log in, but could never get NFL RedZone on our TV. We tried to connect repeatedly, we deleted and re-downloaded the app repeatedly and still only got a black screen. We tried contacting NFL.com via chat, but all we got was an automated chatbot and could never connect with a live agent. It said, “ Hold on while we connect you with an agent”, but it never did. That same day, September 7, 2025, I submitted a request for a refund, but I did not hear back from anyone until Wednesday, September 10 via email and they requested that I send proof of purchase from my bank with transaction information, price, etc. They also requested a copy of the subscription confirmation email. I provided all information as requested and never heard back. I tried to contact them again via chat on Sunday, September 14, per their instructions that agents were only available on Sundays between a specific time period. Again, all we were getting when we tried to watch was a black screen. Again, the chat session said to hold while they connected us with an agent, but never did after 4 hours. I submitted another request for a refund and attached all the same information and cited that we met one of their requirements of severe and ongoing technical issues.

I repeated the same steps on Sunday, September 21, because we still were only getting a black screen.

Today, I received an email indicating that they stopped our auto renewal (I already did that myself), said we could keep using the product until it expires in the fall of 2026, but that we’re not eligible for a refund because we don’t meet their criteria.

They cannot or will not provide me with the exact criteria that we don’t meet, and refuse to refund us. If we can’t use the product due to severe and ongoing technical problems, how is that not a justifiable reason for a refund?

Claimed loss: No TV service provided.

Desired outcome: Please refund.
