Nashville Booting Scammers

I was wrongfully ticketed / booted at my apt complex when I have the most up to date parking permit sticker on the RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE BOTTOM CORNER. This company is out here trying to scam customers on the weekend into paying the fee and disputing later. I will not be doing that until I get in contact with someone. No one is responding to me and there is no way to get in contact with someone via phone call only email which is BS. I will only hope they try towing my car so I can finally get in contact with someone to remove my boot and my ticket that was wrongfully given. Do better.

Desired outcome: They owe me $75 for the inconvenience this caused me over the weekend .

Nashville Booting Customer service

I called multiple times to get my car unbolted. My entire walllet was stolen and I filed at 229 and opted to pay in person and was hung up on 3 times, it’s now over 2 hours. No one has come, the manager wouldn’t give me name or information. I submitted at 229 am. I was told this was guest parking as I am just trying to go home. I understand it is a busy time but have called multiple times just to make sure someone was coming and I was told 2 times it would be an hour.

Nashville Booting car booted in error

My vehicle was booted at 7:41 pm on Wednesday May 24th for "no payment" at an Adams Street lot. My parking receipt had me paid until 8:25 PM. I live 30 miles away and felt I had no choice but to pay the fee to get my car un booted and dispute the charge later. I disputed the charge and within an hour I received an email asking for a picture of my receipt. I have heard nothing back. I also filed another dispute with no response. Also I spoke with an employee of Nashville Booting when the unbooted my vehicle and he stated he had only worked there for 2 days. This to me is further evidence that my vehicle was booted in error.

Desired outcome: please refund

Nashville Booting Charged for booting in lot *** in error on 8/14 on two vehicles

Charged for booting in lot *** in error on 8/14 on two vehicles. We parked in your lot *** at ***, checked into the***/*** and was booted at*** (see attached sticker). We paid our fee at***. My husband walks with a cane so it took us a little time to get him into the hotel and settled. We HAD to have the boots removed on the morning of Saturday 8/15 because we needed to go somewhere is Nashville and it was not in walking distance. We subsequently paid for parking for Saturday/Sunday also. Please see the attached document from my credit card showing all of these payments. We respectfully request that you refund the boot fee of 140.00 since we already paid for both days for both vehicles. The vehicle information is included below. A *** a ***.

I was the victim of *** Booting running a scam tonight at a parking lot near the intersection of Church & 15th Avenue North. The sign next to the parking lot said it was: For use by the tenants and guests of *** and *** Church Steet Buildings *** and ***. When I came out of *** around *** p.m., they had a boot on my car. I took a photo of the sign after I saw a boot on my car, and *** Booting refused to remove the boot despite the sign. They required me to pay $*** to get the boot taken off my car. There were *** police present. Someone from *** Booting told the police that this was their first night enforcing this restriction because it had recently acquired the property. The sign was not covered up until after I brought it to their attention. I can provide photos to support this if necessary.

Nashville Booting Our car was booted on July 15

Our car was booted on July 15. We had paid for 5 hours of parking with an *** and our time had not yet expired. The ***com machine failed to print a receipt. In addition, my husband entered *** instead of *** as the license number (he is blind in one eye). The technician (#***) even told us that they allow for a one digit mistake and that he had a *** on record. After speaking with Daniel *** of ***com on Friday, July 16, I was told that the technician should have allowed us to prove our parking purchase (with our phone) and remove the boot free of charge. However, we had to pay $*** which was immediately debited from our checking account. We have yet to be reimbursed after filing numerous disputes with Nashville Booting and leaving several messages for them to call.

We were staying at an *** at the*** Nashville ***. We were required to take the parking pass *** up to the condo before leaving, we took the pass *** and came back down with our luggage (less than 15 minutes) and our car was booted. The company would not let us speak to a manager and held our car hostage until we paid the ransom. Completely unacceptable that you can not speak to a manager during regular business hours and you should not boot cars during check times.

Nashville Boot, places Boots on cars to render them immovable. Tonight I paid for parking at *** using ***. When I return to my car 2 hours later and before my time had expired, my car was booted. I called and complained. I was told someone would call me back. I waited 10 minutes with no word. I called back and asked for someone to call me immediately. Technician *** called me back. He arrived min later and I showed him two forms of proof of payment. A txt and an email auto generated by ***. He sent images to his manager for approval to remove the boot. I was told I would have to "Pay and Dispute". What kind of sham is this. ***y make a mistake and hold consumers ransom. We called the *** and and *** to get a ride home. As we were walking away *** left his vehicle and removed the boot.

On February 14, my Jeep *** (License plate #***) was booted at *** pm at *** Lot. I had paid online for 3 hour parking starting at*** pm. My license plate number did not, but my car model did show up on Technician #***s data. He acknowledged that his system showed a Jeep but without a license plate number. He refused to look at my receipt of payment and still charged $68 for the boot removal. My receipt number is #XXXXXXXXX. They should have a record of this. I paid for the parking service, yet did not receive it. I am looking to get that $68 back.

Our car was booted while legitimately parked at restaurant and registering car. We showed proof of restaurant receipt. Customer service was rude and left us on hold. Promises to follow up with dispute team and management were ignored. Request for refund ignored. Would like to stop this business from preying on innocent others and being allowed to throw boots on people's cars for no reason. Again, we were legitimately parked and registered for restaurant parking. This business should not be allowed to operate in this manner.

On 5/17 I parked a new vehicle of mine on a 10th Ave lot managed by Lax Parking. I had a temporary tag and called the company to ask how to deal with a paper tag. I was told to enter as much info as I could and write 'new tag' in ***. plate info after paying $20 for the lot. Around *** I came back to my vehicle and noticed two boots on the car. I called the number for Nashville Booting they came out and charged me $70 after showing proof of the parking purchase. I was told to simply show proof and email for a refund. After 7 calls and several emails no response has been given. I paid $20 to park, $50 to remove the boot and another $20 parking fee. I would like the $70 refunded.

My car was booted in memorial day weekend in my building parking lot that I pay to have a permit for. I recently had removed my permit for car maintenance on my vehicle and it was in my car but not in the windshield. I arrived in the lot 10 minutes after being booted to find multiple other (higher value) cars in the lot that had not been booted despite not having parking permits while I had been booted. Upon explaining and disputing the booting fee after demonstrating I had a permit, lived in the building, and paid to have my car in the parking lot, they refused to assist me despite the other cars which had been treated more leniently than mine. Essentially I was fined for owning a car that needed repairs.

Nashville Booting Car was booted on 8/31 overnight

Car was booted on 8/31 overnight. Called first thing in the morning on 9/1 to have technician come out. When technician arrived and I went to pay he told me they don't accept *** and he kept prompting me to to pay cash. The sticker from Nashville Booting on my car says you can pay with a ***. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was advised I couldn't. I went back to my car to call the number which takes you to a 3rd party call center and asked to speak with a supervisor. They said the only thing they can do is file a report and I would have to wait for a call. An hour went by and no call. This company does not allow you to speak to anyone, the hold your vehicle***, they falsely advertise what payment forms they accept. I called the company again to have them send another tech out and it's going on an hour now and still no tech. This whole process has taken up over 2 hours of my morning.

Nashville Booting On Wednesday night, I was driving my friend home to her apartment complex

On Wednesday night, I was driving my friend home to her apartment complex. There were some problems with signage, but I've already taken that up with the apartment complex,*** at***. The ticket said $, and when I peeled it off, it revealed scratches left on my car by the technician. The technician made us wait 2 hours, from *** to *** to come out, even though Nashville ordinance states that it has to be within an hour. The technician came, not wearing a uniform, and reeked of***. He charged me $, even though the ticket said $, and basically said "sorry, can't help you." My mom contacted*** at*** and they gave my contact information to this booting company for a reimbursement and payment for damages, and I even called the booting company and left a message. These people have been ignoring me and have not reached out to give me the reimbursement that the apartment complex said I was owed.

Booting for parking in a paid lot but no signs to indicate paid parking lot On 6/25, I went to the *** gas station on Hermitage Ave downtown. I went into the store for less than 3 minutes and when I came out, my car had been booted with a ticket for $60. The Nashville Booting attendant said that she watched me go into the store and was instructed to do so by her employer. I pointed out that there were no signs to indicate it was a paid lot and she said that the empty black frame (pictured in attachments) used to be a sign but it had been destroyed. If there is no sign, marked spaces, or pay machine, how would I know it was a paid lot? There was a sign up the hill but the arrows were pointed across the street and the attendant said that was for the lot next door, not the lot where I was booted. The attendant refused to remove the boots until I paid $60. I have emailed the disputes dept at Nashville Booting.com but have not received a response.

Nashville Booting On 7/9, We were parked in our numbered resident parking space (***) and our placard had fallen off our dash

On 7/9, We were parked in our numbered resident parking space (***) and our placard had fallen off our dash. We went to leave and found we had been booted. I called to have someone respond at ***am. I was told at this time there was no way for me to get an ETA for a technician to remove the boot. I was also told there was nothing I could do to get even a rough estimate and that I was to just sit and wait an unknown amount of time. At ***, still no one had responded (violation of booting ordinance ***). I had to call again for someone to respond. I waited an additional 30 minutes before the boot was removed. Finally Stormy *** arrived in a completely unmarked vehicle wearing a polo with one small marking on her chest stating NB. (violation of Nashville booting ordinance ***). *** was incredibly rude and told me I was wrong and that I had not waited an hour and a half. At *** the boot on my car was removed, 1.5 hours after my first call.

Nashville Booting The service technician sent to unboot my car refused to wear mask which endangered my safety

The service technician sent to unboot my car refused to wear mask which endangered my safety. Also, this company charged me a hidden $18 fee This incident occurred on 1/3. I was charged $68 for parking in a lot 22 min longer than I paid for. A listed boot fee of $50 was posted upon parking. When the technician arrived, he added that there was an additional $18 fee that he couldn't explain would not remove. He would not unboot my car until the full $68 was paid. I cannot verify that this fee is even legitimate as it was simply added to the receipt in pen and there is no signage posted that mentions this extra $18 fee. The technician also refused to wear a mask and only offered to pull his shirt over his nose which is not in line with *** guidelines. I feel like I have been scammed from this company with their hidden fees and I'm upset that they put my health at risk by refusing to require masks. The attachments include photos of the technician without a mask and the handwritten receipt with added unexplained fee.

Nashville Booting As a resident, with a tag in vehicle, my car was erroneously booted

As a resident, with a tag in vehicle, my car was erroneously booted. No management contact to resolve dispute. Have now had non op car for 4 days. As a resident of the apartment complex we are given parking hangers for our vehicles. Mine fell off my review mirror and my car was booted for failure to display the tag...when it was laying right on the dash. I pay rent here and my vehicle is registered with the apartment complex. This is a predictor practice. Upon seeing the boot I photographed the tag and called the office that sent a technician but he would not do anything without payment. I called the office and started a dispute but was told a manager had to call back and allow 48 hours. It has now been 4 days. I called again and was still told I need to wait for a call because the answering service is 3rd party. As some one who lives in this building and pays for both me and my car to be here, Nashville Booting has no right to infringe upon my time. I have consulted an attorney and am willing to proceed with a small claims case.

Nashville Booting Car booted by technician who missed permit on corner of dashboard

Car booted by technician who missed permit on corner of dashboard. Good evening. My name is ***. I reside in Pine Street Flats at*** Pine Street. (3rd level of parking) and I drive a red***, license plate: ***. On Thursday June 25th *** I got notified by my neighbor that my car had been booted. The permit to park was already in a corner of the dashboard. I didn't open my car and I have cameras and my neighbor as witnesses to prove that THE PERMIT WAS THERE! I called the number and it sent me to a operator, I explained what had happened and she told me it was up to the Technician to remove it. The technician arrived one hour later and he told me that my only option was to send a dispute, he didn't even provide a phone number to contact. He said that the person who booted the car should've taken a picture. I am beyond aggravated by the situation. I will include the pictures I took. I understand this was a human mistake but This has cause me too much trouble. Now I have to pay for something that is unfair or else my car will remained booted for the weekend. Nashville Booting I was booted on Saturday 27 June in the *** station parking area

I was booted on Saturday 27 June in the *** station parking area. The boot was put on unlawfully and broke three rules in the TN state code. After being booted illegally I tried to call the number left on the sticker. This number was disconnected and I spent the next four hours or more trying to contact Nashville booting. I was hung up on twice before finally getting ahold of someone to remove the boot. They then proceeded to charge me $70 after leaving my car stranded for more than four hours. I was parked for three minutes before I was booted and the car that did the booting was unmarked. A nearby police officer observed the incident and stated that they were illegally booting my car. The code states that in an unattended lot the person has to have three unpaid tickets before being booted. It also states vehicles must be clearly marked and that the business must give the person being booted a working phone number in order to call and remove the boot. The code also states that the maximum charge should be $50. I was charged $70. I have filed a police report for unlawful business practices and would like a refund.

Nashville Booting BE AWARE!

BE AWARE! On August 2, ***, while visiting Nashville for a birthday party, we parked in the ***/Nashville Booting parking lot diagonally across from ***. We paid for our time which was 3 hours for $*** at exactly *** At approximately *** as we were exiting ***, we noticed that our vehicle has not 1 but 2 boots on it and a note asking that we call. Allow me to remind you that we were still within our 3 hours that we faithfully paid for. I then proceeded to call the Booting company and explained my situation and how they booted my car in error. I was rudely hung up on, not once but 3 times. At this point I felt like even though we were in our rights to be upset, the Booting company was doing nothing but making the matter escalate. I then decided to contact the ***. Once the *** were called, I called the Booting company back again and finally someone was able to speak to me. As we were waiting for not only the *** but the Booting company, I received a call from a gentleman who worked for the booting company and he stated he would be *** minutes. I made him aware that timeframe was unacceptable as we had my mother in law with us who was also waiting. I made him aware that the cops was also on the way and ended the call. He did actually show up within 5 minutes and as soon as he pulled up, naturally we are upset but his attitude made it no better. He refused to get out of his car even though they made a mistake, no apologies, nothing. He didn't admit that they were wrong but clearly removing the boots off of my car is an admission of guilt. As we were riding home, I sat and pondered about how many people these scammers have fooled. How many people have been stolen from because this is what these people are; ***! I will make it my mission to make sure this happens to no one else. I will be reaching out to their Corporate Office, The *** Office and anyone else I need to.

I was booted incorrectly at my own apartment complex because the employee couldn't see my parking decal in my car. It was in my car the entire time. I went to my car this morning to retrieve something from it and saw where I was booted. I looked at the receipt on my window and it said that I was booted for not having my decal present...the decal was in my car window the entire time. I called the company explaining to them that I had my decal in the car and they told me they'd send someone out to my car immediately. Once the employee got to my car, I showed him my decal and where it was in my car the entire time. He proceeds to take out his camera and show me a picture that was taken at a bad angle to where you couldn't even see my decal. And I believe he had a flash on so the decal was unable to be seen completely. I kept telling him that I was a resident there and that I lived there and even had my apartment paperwork to show additional proof, if needed. The employee didn't care one bit and continued to tell me that I had to pay the booting fee because he couldn't see the parking decal. I literally showed him the decal and waved it around so he could visibly see it and he still didn't care. I asked for a manager and he said that there was no manager and that he was the only one I could talk to until I paid the fee. The only reason I paid that fee prior to speaking to someone is because I have a job to get to. I am beyond disgusted and livid with this company AND my apartment complex for hiring such a horrible company to practice these ridiculous booting practices. I want a refund for the $50 that I was forced to pay. I live at the apartment complex. I follow all of the parking rules. I had my parking decal in my window the entire time yet I still got booted. I'd like this issue resolved and would like to get a refund for the $50. I shouldn't have been charged at all and it's very unfair that I was forced to pay when I followed the rules.

Nashville Booting Left me stranded after a natural disaster

Left me stranded after a natural disaster. Refused to take credit card, knowing there was no electricity so I could not use an ATM for cash. I was driving through and stopped at a friend's apartment to stay the night because a bad storm was coming. They came by and booted my car 2 hours before a tornado went straight through the middle of where I was. When I called in the morning, the person on the other end told me they couldn't get there because it was closed off to traffic, and I told him there were tons of cars coming in and out and it was entirely possible to get it. I even provided directions for the correct way in. When the person arrived, they were extremely hostile and belligerent to the point where I thought he was about to attack me. Then he said their credit card reader was broken and said "You better have cash because power is out and the ATMs will be out for miles." I told him I had $40 in cash and asked if he could take that so I wouldn't be stranded, and he smiled, said "let me know when you have it all" and drove off. So I had to walk for miles through damaged areas with fallen power lines (even worse when you have shrapnel in your legs) and back to find an ATM that worked. When he came back to get the boot off, he kept his car parked and walked through the damage, filming it and taking pictures on his phone for social media, like it was some kind of tourist attraction. I called to complain, and the same person returned the call. He claimed that he was the operations manager and refused to tell me who his manager was. When I mentioned his hostile and aggressive behavior, he ADMITTED that he was acting belligerent but claimed he was just "upset that his drivers would have drive over to a dangerous area". The drive over to the parking garage was not hazardous, as evidenced by his stroll down the street to take pictures of the damage. The dangerous part was leaving me stranded in that area with a dying phone battery and having to walk for miles across the areas that were closed off to traffic. In the end he just kept interrupting me and making up excuses for his abhorrent behavior. It's one thing to boot someone's car if they are causing a a huge inconvenience and preventing businesses from getting things done. It is another to boot cars well outside of business hours when they are taking shelter from a major storm that is approaching and then leaving them stranded in the heart of a tornado impact area with no power over $10. That's not the employee or "manager" doing his job - that is him trying to be a *** and endangering others in the process. I have a Purple Heart license plate, and I don't know if that was the cause of his behavior but I would certainly hope this person wouldn't be discriminating against me because of my wounded/disabled veteran status.
