Please note: I received twdo Parking Violation Tickets for Expired PA State Inspection.

PPA Employee, T. Holland, Badge No# Agency 145 PPA

Citation# [protected]

PPA Employee, J. Seirey, Badge No3 Agency 43 PPA

Citation# [protected]

There is no reason why the tickets was written, this is malicious and intent.

I am discriminated against in my work place who is affiliated with the Philadelphia Poice Department and PPA and this is strange activity by PPA employees.

My vehicle state inspection was completed on 08/11/2023 and PA State Inpection sticker for August 2024 was placed on the driver side window as required by law on August 11, 2023 at Jim's Auto Service a former Philadelphia Housing Authority Auto Shop Servicer. https://www.jimsautoandtire.com.

Please note: See attached documents to validated my PA State Inspection Stickers.

Exhibit A: Picture of my PA State Inspections from 08/2023 and 08/2024.

Exhibit B: Receipt Jim's Auto Service of State Inspection

Desired outcome: I am requesting the citations be canceled and the employees to be investagated concerning following the legal proper procedures in writting tickets and about writting tickets fradulenly.

Philadelphia Parking Authority Car stolen/tickets not withdrawn

My car was stolen back in February and when my car was recovered by the police in March, there were 3 parking tickets on my car. I submitted the stolen auto report back in March and to date, they still have not been withdrawn! Bob, the last Representative that I spoke with on April 24th told me that they were awaiting a determination and now it’s July, they still haven’t been withdrawn, and I just received notices in the mail that because of “MY FAILURE TO RESPOND” my registration is being suspended and my car will be booted! In addition to the 3 parking tickets, there were also 13 speeding tickets, which have all been withdrawn, so can someone please tell me what the issue is with these 3 parking tickets so that they can be withdrawn?!? This is annoying, frustrating, and unnecessarily time-consuming!

Desired outcome: Please withdraw these tickets and I’d appreciate an apology.

Typical for PPA! Next mayor should clean house.

Is Philadelphia Parking Authority legit?

Our conclusion: After a detailed review, ComplaintsBoard finds Philadelphia Parking Authority to be a trustworthy company. Although there's a 0% resolution rate for customer complaints, which deserves attention, Philadelphia Parking Authority is known for their high standards and safety. If you're thinking about dealing with Philadelphia Parking Authority, it's wise to check how they handle complaints.

Philadelphia Parking Authority earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

We found clear and detailed contact information for Philadelphia Parking Authority. The company provides a physical address, phone number, and 2 emails, as well as 3 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

The age of Philadelphia Parking Authority's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.

Philapark.org has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

We looked up Philadelphia Parking Authority and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Philadelphia Parking Authority has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 30 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Philadelphia Parking Authority protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Philadelphia Parking Authority Parking authority attendants

So from 1/31/23 untill 7/10/23,I have received 8 tickets from your employees, now if I'm in the wrong I pay,but it's getting ridiculous that I keep receiving tickets even after I bought a parking permit,(which is a scam)because I never get to park on my block, but the tickets that I got are the ignorance of the employees that are not doing their jobs ,even the white shirt sergeants or supervisors that you have working are not looking at the back of the vehicle where my temporary inspection stickers are, just like any person that buys a new car,is located at the back of the vehicle, I can't and am not going to pay the tickets anymore until something is done,

The ticket numbers are

[protected]

[protected]

[protected]

[protected]

[protected]

And as far as the officers go

They are S.weaver badge 277,

D.johnson badge 185

I've talked to them and they both knew and called in to the dispatch that they made a mistake , I recorded the incident just in case they change their mind or get amnesia if we go to court

Desired outcome: Erase the tickets and give me back the money I've paid because it was not my fault

Philadelphia Parking Authority Parking ticket

A bunch of con artists working for the man. You'd think their dinner depended on jipping the common man. I have written to challenge a ticket on 2 occasions and both times they act like that is Greek to them. They don't acknowledge my letter that I paid good postage to send. Here's the con part. They send you a letter threatening the price of the ticket to increase But they either don't mail it until AFTER that date has already elapsed or they squeeze it in such a tight window of time that the post office gets it to you late . These people are the worst. I paid their bribe and moving on. Too bad they don't reinvest in pot hole repair or enforcement of muscle car speeders. Oh I forgot. Cops are scared of them. What do I propose? That they do away with these little nuisance minor 5 minutes past the time type of tickets and save it for people who Park in front of hydrants, double Park in the road during rush hour of are in a prohibited area for hours not minutes or seconds. The money saved on meter maid jobs being eliminated could be invested in more parking spaces, but y'all don't want to do right. You can't even answer your phone like you have sense. Constant recordings.

Desired outcome: Reimburse me for my payment which was an overpayment to stop their ludicrousy.

Philadelphia Parking Authority camera ticket

Received a second notice for [protected] but never received a first notice. To add to it, due date to pay was 2-16-23 but the envelope was postmarked 2-21-23 5 days after the due date. I tried to call several times was giving another number, hung up on, disconnected and never got connected to a person who would help. So I sent in the total amount due only to receive a notice of boot and tow because there was now a late fee. So I called again and of course no one to answer the call so I decided to pay the 20 bucks and the 3.50 convenince fee, using the word convenience in this case is redicules. I was giving the option to speak to someone by pressing 2. I did and the system disconected. Seems to me some oversight is desperately needed and maybe a staff that is there to help. No wonder the city is what it is.

Desired outcome: Someone in a position to listen and help with a logical outcome.

I received a ticket for expired stickers on 1/31/22 at 1:27PM. My stickers were present and not expired and I sent proof that I had stickers and PPA still wants me to pay the ticket. I paid for inspection. I shouldn’t have to pay a ticket which was not valid. I sent pictures of my stickers as proof. Where is their proof, my stickers were expired

Desired outcome: Ticket should be rescinded

Philadelphia Parking Authority Residential Permit parking not being enforced

I pay for residential permit parking on the 1200 block of Rush st. I’m starting to feel as though it is a waste of my money, the 2hr parking is not being enforced at all, I literally call every day but apparently these ppl come when they feel like it, ppl are ignoring the signs cause they never hardly come through my block, they may show up once a week if that and it’s frustrating cause ppl who live on the surrounding block park on the block every day all day cause ppl never shows up to enforce the law, I feel like they just taking my money for nothing I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied and at my wits end, not just me other neighbors to we would like to get the service we are paying for

Desired outcome: I would like for ppa to come and enforce the 2hr parking laws as required because at this point the 2hr parking signs are a joke to ppl who live on the surrounding blocks

Philadelphia Parking Authority Ticket

My plate was stolen and used illegally. I am a victim of plate identity stealing.

I was never aware of that until I got a parking ticket from the city of Philadelphia, I did dispute the ticket, and my explanations that I don't have or used that plate for over a year and that I never owned that car that committed the violation were not accepted, I did start a dead plate process with the state see attached and when I submitted the documents there were never reviewed,

this is anything but justice or any common sense

I am the victim here that asked to pay the fees I would like to suggest a better solution; please find the driver based on the VIN number on the tickets and blame him

Thank you for your help

Jeremy

I can be reached at [protected]

Desired outcome: Cancel my ticket asap

Philadelphia Parking Authority Permit Parking Not Being Enforced

I live on The 200 North Edgewood St which is Permit Parking only. However, the PPA has not been enforcing the permit parking. We paid for permit parking so that the residents on the block would have a place to park nearby their homes. The white vehicle identified in the photos has been parked in front of my neighbors door for two weeks. The vehicle has expired NJ inspection and tags. If PPA had been enforcing the block they would have noticed this vehicle and identified it as being stolen or abandoned. The residents on North Edgewood Street is an organized block and would like for the PPA to enforce the policy. The city wants the citizens help now we as the citizens need the city help, please enforce the permit parking policy. Thank You

Philadelphia Parking Authority Residential parking permits

Who do I contact to complain about PPA taking our money and not providing what we pay for. I have complained a few times to someone only to get placated for a couple of weeks of someone doing their job, then poof, they were gone. Now, it's a year later and we still haven't seen a PPA officer ticketing illegal parking on our block. It's the same problem we were having before the residential parking and now we are paying for the same problem! The neighbors have grown tired of paying this fee with no enforcement. We are contacting political & legal entities and looking to sue PPA for not providing services it is charging us for. We are tired of calling to no avail, we are tired of not having parking on our block while people with multiple cars from the surrounding blocks park for free on our block. We see PPA ticketing vehicles further down Cedar Ave but we never see them on the block. The retired neighbors say they never see your officers on our block! What's the problem? Is the block not gentrified enough?! Why are blocks next to us further down towards Center City get their service but we don't? As instructed by counsel, we have gathered information and we're doing our own recording of the lack of service everyday!

Desired outcome: WE WAN'T PPA TO DO THEIR [censored]ING JOB!!!!!! Start ticketing these vehicles that stay past the 2 hour limit

Philadelphia Parking Authority Parking ticket near a school district

Ticket #[protected] issued with an incorrect time. The ticket was issued for 7pm and I didn't get off work until 9pm. I disputed the ticket during covid so online hearing. I provided pictures where the sign says after 7pm is ok. I know for a fact the ticket was issued around 1030pm. The officer put an incorrect time falsifying the documented time or just made an human error. I have no further proof I can add. So I'm found liable with no way to further dispute. Now the ticket goes from 41$ to 106$ with 65$ penalties is criminal of the PPA. Far more criminal than what I'm accused of. Philadelphia PPA is a criminal organization working for Philadelphia. This is unconstitutional and illegal inflationary practice and unreasonable. That's why FOX 29 and CHANNEL 10 NEWS do negative reports on you guys all the time. The Federal Government has know time nor do they care to look into this. But it's why Philadelphia is a pisshole of a City. You have criminals running it and every year gets worse. The only way to solve our problems is to move out!

Desired outcome: Throw out ticket and excessive fines. Restore some faith in this City and PPA.

Philadelphia Parking Authority Customer service representative

I'm sending this email because I have no other way of making a complaint!
I called [protected] for 2 days on 6 consistent calls, this customer service guy answers the phone call & hang up on each tine! This is a disgrace that there is no number or supervisor that this can be addressed to!
You have customers attempting to resolve their parking issues with a representative answering the call and hanging up on customers!
People are continuously being inconvenienced as a result of his respect for his job! His calls need to be monitored & he need to be fired !
How do you hang up on every call? That's a disgrace that someone is employed & being paid to hang up on customers
Please forward this email to whoever can address this issue at hand

Philadelphia Parking Authority New meters on callowhill st mon-sunday 8am-10PM?!

Whoever voted for the new meters and times on callowhill street should be ashamed of themselves.

There is no parking shortage and yet these greedy motherless SOBs took it upon themselves to completely ruin the neighborhood's ability to park their cars. This has ripple effects into all surrounding neighborhoods affecting dozens of people's ability to go to work.

This is clearly just an attempt to siphon money out of the community, going to a private organization the PPA (which owes the city MILLIONS of dollars) private corporation abusing civilians for profit.

Disgusting.

Desired outcome: Remove meters, change times

Philadelphia Parking Authority Being harassed constantly ticketed

I am absolutely tired of constantly being singled out and cited for being a hairline past a pole or inch to close to a plug. I would not care or mind if all vehicles in the city or even surrounding neighborhood works cited and treat it the same however come to find there are severe violations being passed over on a daily basis that I have physical evidence of I feel targeted and harassed I am a sick woman that doesn't have time to be there on a daily basis arguing with you people while I'm getting cancer treatment get it together either treat everyone equally or stop harassing me these aren't the mob stop acting like it because it's a disgrace

Desired outcome: To stop being singled out daily, recieving false and double citations. I want to be treated fairly!
