Morehead Honda sold me a car with a messed up paint job. After some months, they agreed to fix it but wouldn't lend me a car because it wasn't a mechanical issue. I left my car at Collision And Chrome on Monday April 12 and planned to pick it up on Saturday April 17 at the dealership since the body shop is closed on weekends. I checked with the body shop to confirm the car was ready and when I called the dealership to confirm I could pick it up tomorrow, nobody knew what I was talking about. They told me the service manager I was working with was out sick so nobody could tell me if I could make the hour and 30 minute drive to get my car. After talking to 4 people, all they could tell me was to wait until tomorrow to see if the person I was dealing with would be back to work tomorrow. Without a loaner car, I am stuck relying on others to help me get the 90 minutes away to get my car. I don't get why this is so hard and now I'm going to be without my car for at least a few more days.

I took my car to Honda on 7/18/22 'cause it wouldn't start. I talked to *** the week before and he said they'd call me once they found the problem. He said the diagnostic would be $135 and if I got it fixed with Honda, they'd take that off the total cost. I asked for *** to work on it 'cause he worked on my other Hondas. *** called me on 7/19/22 and said they had to remove the autostart to find the problem, which would cost $675. I agreed. I did my own research and thought it was the alternator. I went to Honda on 7/20/22 and asked to talk to *** before they touched my car. *** said he couldn't give me an estimate for the alternator and texted the techs to wait for me to talk to ***. I got a vm from *** saying to call *** to authorize the work, but I never did. They did it anyway and it cost me over $700 and they messed up the autostart. Honda did a bad job and made a mistake.

I left my car for a tune-up at Morehead Honda at 8:10am. They said it needed to cool down first, so I had to wait until after 9am for them to start working on it. Jackie, the service member, texted me at 11:37am and 12:02pm to say it was ready for pick up. When I got there, I was charged over $800 and Jackie couldn't explain why. I had to leave quickly for work, so I called the next day to ask questions. No one could give me a straight answer, and they told me to call Honda in California if I didn't like the prices. I spoke with Jennifer, the service manager, who told me things that didn't add up to $800. I pointed out that their labor costs were $119 per hour and my car was only there for 2 hours, not including the time it had to cool down. After several calls to the company manager, I finally spoke with Jennifer again and she said they would refund me 3 hours of labor costs and start posting specific service prices. She said a check was mailed on 11//20, but I haven't received it yet and want to pick it up in person.
