The entire experience was seamless. Great customer experience, great product! The pool was off the truck and into the hole in less than an hour. Startup went without issue. Filled and fired it up in one afternoon. I feel this is a great fit for anyone looking at challenging installations, a smaller footprint or time limitations. My family and I are really enjoying it!

I got my modpool delivered. I didn't get my infinite edge catchment delivered so the water will just pour over the infinite edge onto the ground. Nobody will tell me when this integral part is getting delivered. The infinite edge catchment engineering drawing doesn't work with the suggested concrete pad. Nobody seems to have thought of how this will work. Incredibly frustrating experience so far.

Great product and process. Modpools provided a design package and engineering which helped me get approvals from a difficult coastal San Diego city. Shipped on schedule and was carefully packaged. Awesome that it was craned in place and installed in one day. Modpools responded quickly to all of our questions during setup and has reached out several times to make sure everything is going well. Can’t wait for our house to be finished so we start using everyday.

Modpools, is 1000 percent the absolute worst company I have ever worked with. The customer service they provide is unbelievably horrible, shockingly bad. No matter who you talk to - if you can talk to someone, just when you think one is bad the next person you talk to is worse. *** Be better Modpools.

We have had nothing but issues with our pool in the less than two years we have had it. The cover has failed twice and the boiler is on its third warranty repair. Mod pools was not helpful with any of the warranty work needing to be done as I have had to contact the supplier of the boiler directly and not the company we purchased it from. It has been down for weeks again with no sign of it being fixed soon. As for the cover we were told if it broke again they would not fix it. Also the controls system they use glitches out constantly. The average person does not need an app to control their pool. There was no instruction on how to use or take care of the pool and we have had to learn everything on our own. We would have been better off building a conventional pool for less money and better service.

We were so excited to find Modpools and thought we had found an affordable solution to our desire for a pool. From the beginning, it's been a troublesome process. We have had the pool for six weeks and so far the issues have included: Faulty breaker installed at the factory, broken heater system (probably due to the wrong breaker), the wrong heater sent as a replacement, finally got the right heater & we had to pay to install it ourselves, no valve included to allow for cleaning of the filter. All of these problems were acknowledged by Modpools, but they have done barely anything to correct the problems other than sending the right part. They haven't offered compensation for all the money we had to spend to fill and drain the pool (3 times in 6 weeks!) pay to have someone come switch out the heater, or our time to fix the pool ourselves. This is all in addition to the poor customer service when we bought the pool that delayed its delivery by over 6 weeks. We knew there would be an element of DIY to this pool and we have some skills, but the problem with the actual product is appalling! Who is putting these things together?!?!?! It's so beyond disappointing when we put so much of our money into the company.

We've had our 20' x 8' Modpool for about two years now, and for the most part it's been great - we love swimming in it, it looks really good, and the intellichem system keeps the maintenance necessary to a minimum. 95% of the time it's hassle-free; the other 5% of the time can be frustrating, whether it's dealing with a rust spot, or the wifi connection going out, or having trouble getting the vacuum to work, or pipes in the mechanical room starting to leak after one of our south Louisiana torrential rains has overfilled the pool. The people at Modpool are really helpful - customizing our pool the way we wanted it, sending paint for us to do touch-ups, doing everything they can to troubleshoot problems from afar. But there's only so much they can do when they're thousands of miles away, and we haven't found a really good local pool person yet who's familiar with Modpools and we can call to come look when something goes wrong. Hopefully that will change. I don't think the problems we've had with our pool are unique to Modpool (other than maybe the rust spots), so this four-star review might be more about pool ownership in general - it's great most of the time, but it's going to come with its share of headaches.

Review Modpools Think Twice! We had a bad experience with this company that cost us a lot of time, money and aggravation. I’m still dealing with the problem today. The most important things for you to know when buying a container pool from ModPools. - Assumption 1. It will not save you time to buy a container pool. We signed a sales contract on April 20 and rushed to make a deposit. We were promised a pool in Mid-July. It was finally delivered on August 28th. A traditional pool would have taken a much shorter time period. We dug the hole in July 15 and we are still dealing with the installation today. - Assumption 2. You will likely not save money on a container pool. Depending on what you want (important consideration!), you will likely spend more on a container pool from Modpools compared to any other type of pool out there including a traditional inground pool. - Assumption 3. It will be easy to install. I made the assumption it would be easy to install. It’s not. You or a GC will be coordinating various contractors, and there will be problems along the road. ***, but not good at delivery and customer service. The drive who finally brought the pool said, *** We were promised a pool by mid-July and met our end of the contract. By mid-June I was getting suspicious because we were not hearing anything from ModPools. I called them many times with no return calls. I emailed them many times. Finally I started asking questions from whoever answered the phone. Whoever it was said we were scheduled for late August. It looks 2 weeks for the sales person to call me back about this. The problem with this is that you will have several contractors with tight schedules. We already had scheduled the excavator to dig a giant hole in our backyard, so he did that on July 15th. Finally after weeks someone called me back to say that they had made a mistake, and basically had lost our order. I had emails to prove when the Modpool was promised for delivery. She said you are right. We will try to fix this. Another 2 weeks passed with no communication. By this time, I was thinking this was ridiculous, and the situation started to get aggravating. I had no idea how bad it would get. Through a series of many weeks of misleading, ***, no communications, or outright ignoring a customer who is paying $75k for a pool, we ended up having a horrible summer with our yard torn up, rubble everywhere, angry and hard to schedule contractors who took other jobs, and were very very difficult to re-schedule. We still have a path going between rubble piles to get to our backdoor. Long story short, I am still dealing with this today. The excavator finally came back to the job site. The electricians are making the final connections. And our deck builder walked off the job today because of all the delays and chaos caused by one problem - ModPools did not deliver the pool anywhere close to the promised delivery date. And they never did anything to fix their mistake. Oh yeah, I don’t want to forget that the divider is warped. Their customer service support person won’t believe me, and in fact, has told me that I am wrong. I’ve sent her several photos showing how warped the divider is, and she only insists that it is not warped, but needs to be cut. It’s already too short. How about just shipping a $75k customer a new divider?
