MilitaryHeritage Review: MilitaryHeritage - A Good Deal on French Fusil de Chasse, but Requires Gunsmith Skills

I gotta say, about a year back, I decided to get myself a fancy French fusil de chasse from this dude named Robert over at MilitaryHeritage. Let me tell ya, he was a real helpful fella. The musket arrived at my doorstep in no time, all snug and secure in its packaging. But lemme tell ya, gettin' that thing to shoot right took quite a bit of tinkering. Lucky for me, there were a couple of YouTube vids that walked me through the whole process. Now, I ain't gonna lie, this ain't a route I'd recommend for just anyone. You gotta be real familiar with them home gunsmith techniques, ya know?

But hey, I gotta give credit where credit's due. Robert sure does supply a darn good product at a mighty fine price. I gotta admit, I'm head over heels for my French fusil. If I had gone for one of them fancy Pedersoli ones, it would've cost me twice as much. And don't even get me started on them custom guns, 'cause they'd set me back three times the price!

Now, when it comes to placing your order, I reckon it's best to give ol' Robert a call. Don't go makin' the mistake of orderin' without actually talkin' to the man himself. He's a busy fella, ya see, and there's a chance your order might not get processed. So, take my advice and have a good ol' chat with him before makin' any moves.

All in all, I gotta say I'm mighty pleased with my purchase from MilitaryHeritage. Sure, it took a bit of work to get it shootin' just right, but hey, that's part of the fun, ain't it? So, if you're lookin' for a good deal on a French fusil de chasse, give Robert a holler. Just remember, this ain't no walk in the park, so make sure you know what you're gettin' into before takin' the plunge.

MilitaryHeritage Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Stock Availability - Avoid this Company!

I placed my order on August 29th, and it's already September 20th. I was really excited to get my hands on an 18th-century gentlemen's flintlock pistol. However, I've sent four emails to the company, and I haven't received any response. I even tried calling once and left a message, but still no response. It's really frustrating.

I decided to cancel my order because this whole experience has been a joke. If the company is unable to run their business for some reason, they should at least mention it on their website. It's not fair to keep selling items as if everything is normal when it clearly isn't.

Another issue I have is that they listed the pistol as 'in stock' when it actually wasn't. If they don't have something in stock and need to wait for it, they shouldn't mislead customers by labeling it as available.

There are no excuses for treating customers this way. It goes against the basic principles of running a business. You can't just accept orders and then ignore any questions or concerns, leaving weeks to go by without any contact. It's unbelievable that these people are still managing to stay in business.

MilitaryHeritage Delicious and Authentic Italian Cuisine: A Culinary Journey to Italy's Flavors

Jianyun Xu Dennis Xu dob 04/10/1976 address: 5503 159TH PL, REDMOND, WA ***
Jianyun xu works in Microsoft Redmond, WA, USA.
I have disheartening experience with Jianyun Xu Dennis Xu. I worked with him before. He never gave me any respect. He considered me as a slave, treated me like garbage and used every way he can to abuse, mistreat me. What he did to me were without my knowledge and against my will.
I tried my best to commute with him, such as I tried to ask him why he treated me so badly, what was his expectation from me, but he always rejected to commute because he thought I didn't worth him to talk, the only thing I should do is to obey him without any condition, even if his expectation is unreasonable, impossible or unhumane.
After I tried my best to stay away from him, he still mistreated me using whatever ways he could find.

MilitaryHeritage Decent Beginner Musket for Reenacting, Packaging Could Be Better

I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with the service and how fast my musket arrived. The packaging could've been better though, like maybe more bubble wrap or something. My box had this big ol' hole in it, like someone dropped it right on the barrel end during shipping. Surprisingly, no damage though. When I took a closer look at the gun, I noticed some nicks and scratches on the metal and wood finish. Turns out it's made of teakwood, not walnut like I thought, but they did mention that before I bought it. Honestly, it kinda looks like one of those rifles made in India, you know? But hey, the lock seems pretty sturdy and well-made. For a beginner gun for reenacting, it's not too shabby for $545. Dixie sells their fancy Italian version for a whopping $1500, but not everyone can afford to splurge like that, especially when you're just starting out with French Indian War reenacting. This gun seems like it's built for field use, you know? Like, if you accidentally get a scratch on it, you won't be crying over the money you spent. Although, I gotta admit, a walnut stock would've been real nice. But overall, it's worth the price you pay, even if it's not gonna win any awards for being flawless.

MilitaryHeritage Impressive Delivery Speed and Excellent Customer Service, but Shotgun Requires Modifications

I recently purchased the Capt Cook Flintlock Double barrel shotgun from MilitaryHeritage and I must say, I was quite impressed with the speedy delivery. I placed my order on the 14th of December and it arrived in Huntsville, Al on the 21st of December. Talk about fast shipping!

However, upon inspecting the shotgun, I noticed a small nick in the wood and had some concerns about the breech plugs. When I measured from the muzzles, it seemed that the plugs were about 1/2" short of the pans. I decided to reach out to the company via email to report these issues.

To my surprise, I received a prompt response from a gentleman named John. He not only acknowledged my concerns but also offered to extend the return period and even offered to call the gunsmith to guide him through the vent drilling process. I must say, that's quite generous of them!

I took the shotgun to my now ex gunsmith, who informed me that the gun was not actually made to be fired. John had mentioned that the breech plugs were cut at an angle where the vent holes were supposed to be drilled, which turned out to be an error. The plugs are meant to screw up into the barrels and then be soldered to a top and bottom rib to match the barrels. The vents should go through the breech plugs themselves. However, the plugs were solid and blocked the barrels 1/2" ahead of the pans.

It seems that the company may have been unaware of this issue, as they were not familiar with the product they were selling. While this lack of knowledge is not ideal, it is the only fault I can find with the company. The solution to this problem is to remove the plugs, bore them to the appropriate depth like a patent breech, and then drill flash holes. After that, they can be reassembled and resoldered to their ribs. Once this process is done, the shotgun becomes a very nice piece.

I do hope that the company takes this experience as a learning opportunity and modifies the description on their website to indicate the level of involvement required to make the shotgun shoot. It would be beneficial for potential buyers to have a clear understanding of what they are getting into.

Overall, despite the initial issues, I am satisfied with my purchase from MilitaryHeritage. The customer service was commendable, and once the necessary modifications are made, the shotgun proves to be a great firearm.

MilitaryHeritage MilitaryHeritage: A Blunderbuss Dream Come True - Authentic, Accurate, and Full of Charm!

When I first laid eyes on the display image of the firearm on MilitaryHeritage, I thought to myself, "That must be some fancy photo editing going on there, just to make it look good for advertising." Boy, was I mistaken! The firearm I received exceeded all my expectations. And get this, it only took a week for it to arrive after I placed my order. Talk about speedy delivery!

Now, let me tell you about the gun itself. It's got these little imperfections that actually enhance its vintage appearance and give it that authentic "patina." I even took it upon myself to drill the touch hole and make the blunderbuss fully functional. And let me tell you, it shoots just as good as it looks. It's a 69 caliber/14ga. Bore, and I loaded it up with 70g of 2F powder, a. 695 wad, 7/8 ounce of 7.5 shot, and a. 695 shot card. I fired a total of four shots at my target from 25 yards away, and the pattern spread out to about 30 inches in diameter. But here's the kicker - each shot landed right on top of the other. Perfect accuracy!

Now, I do have one small complaint. I managed to crack the ramrod at a weak spot in the wood. But hey, no worries! Gorilla Glue came to the rescue, and now it's good as new. These things happen, you know? It certainly won't stop me from buying from Military Heritage again. In fact, I'm already thinking about what I want to get next. I'm an avid black powder and cartridge gun shooter, and I don't mess around with firearms that are just for show. I want the real deal.

I've always had a fascination with the pirate era, so owning a blunderbuss has been a dream of mine. And now, I finally have one. Let me tell you, I have absolutely no regrets. Sure, there may be a few quirks and malfunctions here and there, but come on, we're talking about technology that's been around for 200-300 years. Even the modern reproductions can have their little "hiccups." It's all part of the charm, if you ask me.

So, if you're like me and you appreciate the history and craftsmanship of these old firearms, I highly recommend checking out MilitaryHeritage. You won't be disappointed. And who knows, maybe you'll find your own piece of history to add to your collection.

MilitaryHeritage Impressive Craftsmanship and Fast Delivery: A Review of MilitaryHeritage's Doglock Musket

I recently purchased a doglock musket from MilitaryHeritage and I must say, I am quite impressed. I ordered the musket with a 42" barrel and a caliber of .69 on July 4th, which happened to be a Saturday. Surprisingly, it arrived on Monday, the 13th. This was my first time ordering a muzzleloader that wasn't made by a professional, and also my first time ordering from this company.

The packaging of the musket was done very well. As soon as I opened the box, my eyes were drawn to the unique doglock and its impeccable craftsmanship. The rest of the musket was of the same high quality. I am quite particular when it comes to period-correct items, especially my flintlocks. In the past, I have only used hand-made forelocks from well-known makers. However, after researching various companies, I decided to take a chance with The Discriminating General.

I have always had a soft spot for early English doglock muskets. When I saw the musket in the promotional photo, I thought to myself, "If it looks as good in person, I'll be getting a great deal considering the excellent price." Well, let me tell you, I was more than pleased with what I observed and handled. The fit and finish of the musket were on par with my $2000 custom-made Dublin Castle musket, which was crafted by a well-known American builder.

I am eagerly looking forward to drilling the touch hole and testing how it shoots. Once I do, I will write another review to share my experience. I want to express my gratitude to the team at MilitaryHeritage for making such fine products available at such amazing prices. I can't wait to show off my new musket to my fellow reenacting friends. Rest assured, I will definitely be doing business with this company again.

Sincerely,
Michael from Michigan

MilitaryHeritage Disappointing Experience with MilitaryHeritage: Lack of Communication, Delays, and Mistakes

I've been keeping an eye on MilitaryHeritage's website for quite some time, eagerly waiting for the MTS-016 English Dragoon Pistol to be back in stock. Finally, after months of anticipation, it showed up as available again. Without wasting any time, I placed my order. In the confirmation email, it mentioned that if the product is in stock, it usually takes around 3-5 Business Days for the order to be processed and shipped.

However, a whole month passed by without any updates from Military Heritage (Access Heritage Inc.). Growing impatient, I decided to send them an email inquiring about my order. After a week, Robert responded, saying, "We are currently sold out of the Dragoon pistols, but we expect a new shipment within the next 10 days." I quickly replied to Robert, expressing my frustration, "I've been regularly checking the website to see if the 'MTS-016 English Dragoon Pistol' was available, and I ordered it when the page didn't show 'temporarily out of stock.' I checked today, and it still doesn't indicate that it's out of stock. Is the website not accurate?"

A few days later, Robert finally replied, "They just arrived not two hours ago. We will be shipping yours out to you in the next few days." I patiently waited for two weeks, but there was still no sign of my order being shipped. Feeling exasperated, I decided to email them once again, asking for an update. Robert responded, saying, "Sorry for the delay. I had mistakenly marked your order as filled, but it wasn't! It's entirely my fault, and I sincerely apologize. I have just processed the payment and sent your order to the warehouse to be shipped as soon as possible."

Frustrated with the sloppy handling of my order by the company, I replied, "Considering how poorly your company has managed my order, I would like a full refund. It simply isn't worth it, and I have lost all trust in your company. Please provide me with a receipt for the full refund."

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company. The lack of communication, delays, and mistakes made in handling my order have left me thoroughly disappointed.

MilitaryHeritage Review: Excellent Customer Service and Beautiful Craftsmanship, Excited to Test the Flintlock

I ordered a 1733 French style flintlock from MilitaryHeritage because it was fitting for the French and Indian War / American Rev. War era, plus I saw it on 'black sails'. I'm a total newbie when it comes to black powder, but I did my research for months. Finally, I mustered up the courage to call their number and talk to a gentleman there because I had a bunch of questions. He was super helpful and patient with me, a complete novice. I explained that I wanted a gun for shooting, not just for decoration, and I had all sorts of newbie inquiries about safety and historical accuracy. After our chat, I went ahead and placed my order.

However, on that very day, my bank stopped the payment because I had never ordered anything from outside the country before. They found it a bit strange to see a Canadian payment. I sorted out the issue and the order was eventually shipped. There was a little mix-up with UPS, but that wasn't the shipper's fault, and surprisingly, I still received my package quite quickly. When the pistol arrived, I was delighted by its beauty. I did notice that the foot of the frizzen was a bit square, but I managed to fix it by rounding it off myself. I even drilled the touchhole on my own. Unfortunately, the ramrod broke during shipping, but I blame UPS for their rough handling. The packaging was actually good enough to protect it if it hadn't been mishandled. I took matters into my own hands and crafted a new ramrod using an arrow blank (I'm into traditional archery) and I also got myself a flint. Surprisingly, it sparked beautifully, especially considering that my flint is just an old arrowhead and not a proper gunflint. I made do with what I had! I tested it with powder in the pan and it ignited well. The dark wood finish provided a striking contrast with the bright lock, barrel, and brass grip cap. However, the wood finish was a bit too uniform, concealing the grain. So, I decided to sand it with steel wool, not enough to remove it entirely, but just enough to let the grain show through. Then, I applied several coats of tongue oil. Now, it looks like it belongs in a museum. Absolutely gorgeous!

Just yesterday, I finally had the chance to shoot my first black powder rifle, a Hopkins and Allen Hawken. I'm really excited to shoot this flintlock soon. I'm giving it 'three stars' for now because I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet. Once I do, it might receive a higher rating!

One thing to note is that the Military Heritage site states that the caliber is. 64, but I've never come across a. 64 caliber pistol before. According to my calipers, mine actually measures about. 59. I'm guessing it's meant for a patched. 58 ball? Regardless, the folks at Military Heritage were very helpful once I got in touch with them, and the pistol itself is handsomely crafted and feels sturdy.

MilitaryHeritage Terrible Customer Service: Good luck reaching anyone by phone or email at MilitaryHeritage

Good luck tryin to reach anyone by phone or email. You never get a live person. They don't return calls or emails. It's like talkin to a brick wall, ya know?

I gotta say, it's pretty strange. I had to cancel my order through my credit card company 'cause I couldn't get a hold of 'em. Ain't that somethin'? I mean, who runs a business like that?

I was hopin to get some cool military stuff from MilitaryHeritage, but it looks like they ain't too keen on helpin their customers out. It's a real bummer, 'cause I was lookin forward to addin some new gear to my collection.

I reckon it's best to steer clear of this place if ya want good customer service. There's plenty of other places out there that actually care 'bout their customers and make sure they're satisfied. Don't waste your time with MilitaryHeritage, trust me.

Overall, I gotta give 'em a thumbs down. They need to step up their game and start takin care of their customers. 'Cause right now, they're just lettin 'em down.

MilitaryHeritage Terrible Customer Service: Avoid MilitaryHeritage for a Disappointing Experience

anyone ordering from MilitaryHeritage. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I placed an order online under the name Ed. G, but I didn't receive any confirmation whatsoever. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently for a week before reaching out to them via email to inquire about the status of my order. Unfortunately, I received no response from them.

Feeling frustrated and concerned about my order, I decided to give them another chance and emailed them again after another week had passed. To my disappointment, I still didn't receive any response from them. At this point, I was starting to lose hope and began to doubt whether I would ever receive my order.

Despite my growing frustration, I decided to give it one last shot and emailed them for the third time. However, just like the previous attempts, I received no response from them. It became clear to me that MilitaryHeritage simply didn't care about their customers or their orders.

I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from MilitaryHeritage to think twice. Their lack of communication and disregard for their customers is absolutely unacceptable. It's incredibly disappointing to see a company that claims to cater to military heritage enthusiasts provide such poor service.

In conclusion, I highly recommend avoiding MilitaryHeritage at all costs. Their lack of professionalism and customer care is truly disheartening. There are plenty of other reputable online stores that offer similar products with much better customer service. Don't waste your time and money on a company that clearly doesn't value its customers.

MilitaryHeritage Extremely Disappointing Experience with MilitaryHeritage: Lack of Communication and Unresponsiveness

I placed an order on MilitaryHeritage's website, but unfortunately, I didn't receive any confirmation. I waited patiently for a week, but I didn't hear back from them. I decided to send them an email to inquire about the status of my order, but again, I received no response. Another week went by, and I sent them another email, hoping for a reply this time. However, my efforts were in vain as I still didn't receive any response from them.

Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I made a phone call to their customer service and left a message explaining my situation. However, much to my dismay, I didn't receive any response from them either.

At this point, I had lost all hope in receiving any assistance from MilitaryHeritage. I couldn't wait any longer, so I made the decision to order from a different vendor instead. It was a shame that I had to resort to this, as I had initially chosen MilitaryHeritage for a reason.

In conclusion, my experience with MilitaryHeritage was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication and unresponsiveness from their customer service team left me with no choice but to seek out an alternative vendor. It's unfortunate that I had to go through this ordeal, but I hope that others will have a better experience with them in the future.

MilitaryHeritage Disappointing Customer Service Experience with MilitaryHeritage: Great Products, Lacking Support

I gotta say, I'm a big fan of my Brown Bess musket and Sea service Pistol that I snagged from MilitaryHeritage about a year back. They're pretty solid pieces, gotta admit. But man, let me tell you about their customer service. It's a real bummer, I tell ya.

So, I tried reaching out to them a bunch of times, both by phone and email, just to get a few questions answered. But you know what? They never bothered getting back to me. Not once! Talk about a major letdown. I mean, come on, guys, that's just plain bad customer service right there.

Now, I ain't no expert or anything, but I reckon it's pretty important for a company to be responsive to their customers. I mean, we're the ones shelling out our hard-earned cash, right? The least they could do is give us a little attention and answer our queries. But nah, not these folks.

I gotta say, it's a real shame. 'Cause I really do like their products. But when a company can't even be bothered to return a call or an email, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It's like they don't care about us regular folks, you know?

So, if you're thinking about buying something from MilitaryHeritage, just keep in mind that their customer service ain't all that great. Don't expect 'em to be there for you when you need 'em. But hey, if you're willing to overlook that, they do have some pretty cool stuff. Just don't count on getting any help if you have questions or issues.

MilitaryHeritage Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Responsiveness from MilitaryHeritage

I gotta say, MilitaryHeritage really dropped the ball on this one. I mean, seriously, if I had the option, I'd give 'em zero stars. I've been tryin' to get some info on their Shin-Guntos for over a week now, and let me tell ya, it's been a real struggle. I sent 'em not one, but two emails askin' for some details, and guess what? No response. Can you believe that? It's like they don't even care about their customers.

I gotta wonder, if they can't even bother to reply to a simple email, how in the world are they gonna handle orders? I mean, come on, it's not rocket science. Customer service is a basic thing, right? But no, they just can't be bothered. It's enough to make ya shake your head in disbelief.

I don't know about you, but when I'm lookin' to buy somethin', I wanna know that the company I'm dealin' with is gonna treat me right. I wanna feel like my business matters to 'em. But with MilitaryHeritage, it's clear that's not the case. They're too busy ignorin' emails to give a damn about their customers.

So yeah, I wouldn't recommend 'em. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually cares about their customers. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

MilitaryHeritage Disappointing Experience with MilitaryHeritage: Still Waiting for My Cavalry Officer's Sword

I gotta tell ya, I made a purchase for a fancy cavalry officer's sword from MilitaryHeritage a while back. Now, let me tell ya, it's been quite a waitin' game. I ain't got my hands on that sword yet, and it's been a good chunk of time. I've been shootin' 'em emails left and right, tryin' to get some answers. But lemme tell ya, all I get is the same ol' response every single time. They keep sayin' they're busy as a bee and that they'll send it my way when they can. But guess what? I'm still empty-handed, my friend. Ain't got nothin' to show for my hard-earned cash.

Now, listen up folks, I wouldn't recommend wastin' your precious time or money with this outfit. They ain't deliverin' the goods like they promised. It's a real letdown, I tell ya. So, take my advice and steer clear of MilitaryHeritage. Find yourself a more reliable place to spend your dough. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

MilitaryHeritage Inefficient Customer Service and Ordering System: Lack of Real Answers and Delayed Restocking

Answering all emails with an automated reply system ain't the best way to serve customers, ya know? People want real answers, not some robotic response. MilitaryHeritage Terrible Experience with MilitaryHeritage: Order Never Received, Unreliable Company

So, like, about two months ago, I decided to order this "in stock" thing from MilitaryHeritage. I got this automated message saying they got my order and stuff. But, man, can you believe it? I still haven't received anything! I swear, it's like they disappeared or something. I mean, no company can be this terrible and still be in business, right? I wouldn't even give them a single star. Seriously, don't waste your time with them. Rob C. A customer who's totally let down and unhappy.

MilitaryHeritage Disappointing Sea Service Pistol from MilitaryHeritage: Poor Lock, Hard Trigger Pull, and Lack of Customer Service

I recently purchased a sea service pistol from MilitaryHeritage and, gotta say, it looks pretty nice. However, I gotta be honest here, the lock on this thing is total junk. Like, seriously, it's a real disappointment.

First off, the trigger pull on this pistol is ridiculously hard. I mean, it's so bad that even my wife couldn't fire it. Can you believe that? I had to do some light filing to fix that part myself. I mean, come on, shouldn't it be ready to go right out of the box?

And let me tell you, it seems like the lock was just roughed in and not properly finished. The distance between half cock and full cock is so small, it's almost laughable. I mean, what's the point if it's not gonna work properly?

But here's the real kicker. When I finally managed to fire the pistol, the stroke was so small that it barely sparked. I mean, seriously, what a letdown. I tried calling the customer service line, but guess what? No answer. And don't even get me started on the lack of response to my emails. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

Now, I'm stuck with a pistol that needs some serious custom gunsmith work to get it right. I could've saved myself some serious money if I had bought it from a reputable dealer. I mean, seriously, where's the customer service? It's a total letdown.

So, folks, let this be a warning to you all. Beware of MilitaryHeritage. Their lack of customer service and subpar quality just ain't worth it. Save yourself the headache and find a better dealer. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
