Michaels Stores - Fraudulent rewards program

On october 14, 2020, my rewards account stated I was $0.06 away from my next $5 voucher. I also saw in my account a $10 bonus rewards that stated "when you spend $40 or more on your next 2 purchases valid sun 10/04/2020 to sat 10/31/2020. That day I placed 2 orders online that totaled $57.20 at which I should have rightfully earned the $5 reward and the $10 reward. None of the items were clearance items or custom framing and all items were eligible for the rewards. A few days went by and I checked my account for the earned rewards but there were no reward points earned. I called michaels customer service and was told my rewards should show up in 48 hours. After 72 hours I checked again, and again there were no reward points. I called michaels customer service again, the c/s rep verified my email address and she said I will receive an email regarding my rewards. I did not receive my rewards, instead, michaels emailed me the same bonus rewards promotion but intentionally changed the terms to read" when you spend $40 or more on each of your next 2 purchases." attached is the original promotion that was in my account that led me to make my 2 purchases that day on october 14. This can only be viewed as blatant fraud committed by michaels. I have a history of spending a lot of money for my supplies with michaels and I am now extremely disappointed with michaels fraudulent practices.

Very frustrating when no stock is available! At my local store which there is only one Michael’s in my city. They have sales and no stock for weeks. Canvases as my example, they have been on sale for two weeks and now a Boxing Day sale and zero stock. Same with some brands of paints. My other serious pet peeve is we get emails and sales and special events sent to us in Canada but is only good in the US. When you click on something in the email you can’t see it ! If you can’t get on board and send Canadians emails and specials that pertain to the country then don’t send them ! They are useless to us.
