Menards — 1,000 dallor door
My wife picked out a certain type of door with blind inside the glass. I thought we were getting a good door being it was a CRESTLINE. First problem is that the door was and is not square. I did not know this until after the door was prepped and in the door jamb. My wife tried using the blinds. Both sides did not operate correctly. Either getting stuck half way up or not moving at all. The blind themselves were damaged inside causing some blinds to come together causing a opening. I called the company - WARNING #1 : Warranty was from the date they made the door. Not when I bought the door. Good thing I called right away because they had to specially make the door glass and that was going to take 6 weeks. The guy brought out the replacement glass for both doors. It look as if it was going to rain. So he decided it's not worth having the opening while it could rain in. No tarp??? SO he comes back again. This time he opens the crate and finds it is the wrong glass. So he orders another set. This time 6-8 weeks more. He finally comes and replaces the glass in the doors. Repairs made but the blind now falls back down once the slider pulls the blind to the top. WARNING #2: CRESTLINE doors are crap! $1, 000 dollars of blue collar money wasted. I should have gone to PELLA.
