I live at the Aviva complex in Goodyear AZ. The gym has become a playground for small children as young as 3-years old. Yes, they are accompanied by their parents. I have witnessed a parent putting their very small child on a treadmill leaving them unattended while the equipment is running, not a good idea. This is a huge safety concern. Also, these children love to scream with delight in this new and wonderful playground for them. I have belonged to many gyms, and they all had a minimum age requirement, not here. The Avia representative on duty was dismissive and finally said, I will speak to someone. This is not what I thought that I signed up for when moving to Aviva.
Desired outcome: Gym policy that does not permit children below a certain age to be in the gym even when accompanied by an adult.

Despite the sign posted in the gym, property management ignores tenants apprising them of this issue. Monique simply replies when told, "I'll tell someone about it". I seriously doubt that. Her follow up and demeanor is less than friendly.
A small 4 year old ish child in the gym running around most of the time unsupervised. Child on equipment despite the posted sign stating 14-years of age must be accompanied by adult and NOT allowed on the equipment. This is a serious safety concern and liability for Mark Taylor where managment allows this.
You thought you were moving into a gym, not what looks like a daycare center with treadmills. The sight of toddlers let loose among the gym's equipment is a disaster waiting to happen. Watching toddlers is a safety lawsuit just waiting to happen. You can’t claim an “infant zone” and blast elevator music. Toddlers and apathetic service charges far from your rental contract. You wouldn’t think that asking for safety would be unreasonable, but with this facility, they need to establish age enforcement regulations of some sort before an ER visit becomes the new normal.
