Marble Law review: Child custody filling

I am in a very time-sensitive situation, and since the beginning of my case in September 2025, it has been passed from one attorney to another. Attorney Lisa is now the fourth attorney assigned to my case. I have invested close to $15,000 in legal fees, yet I still feel like I am at a standstill with little to no meaningful progress.
I have done everything that has been asked of me every step of the way, but I don’t feel that my case has been treated with the urgency it deserves. Most importantly, this case involves children, and every delay has serious consequences. I have been denied access to my children for the past three years, which has caused significant damage to my relationship with them. Time is something I cannot get back, and every setback only makes reunification more difficult.

I am very concerned that I am now being told to start over with a completely different legal strategy after following the previous attorney’s guidance. My understanding was that another attorney would simply take over with the plan already in place, but the new attorney had no knowledge of that and said we were going in a different direction. Starting over means additional steps, more delays, and more legal expenses after I have already invested nearly $15,000 into this case. I should not have to bear the financial burden of changing course because of the repeated turnover in attorneys.
I am also very concerned that I am now being told I have to start over with a completely different legal strategy because case number [protected] was dismissed for want of prosecution (DWOP) in November 2025.From my understanding, I retained Marble in September 2025, and Attorney Davis was the first attorney assigned to my case. Based on the timeline, it appears she was responsible for handling my case before it was dismissed, yet no action was taken to prevent the DWOP or keep the case active. Attorney Davis represented me in January 14, 2026. Now, with my new attorney, I am being told that because the case has been dismissed, there is no active case to move forward with and that I must start over by filing a new case. This is extremely concerning because I hired legal counsel to protect my interests and ensure my case was properly managed. I am trying to understand why the case was allowed to be dismissed and why I am now facing the burden, additional delays, and increased legal costs of starting over.

I do not want to become a case against Marble for the situation Marble has put me through when it was supposed to help me improve my situation. This has been a nightmare since day one, with a lack of communication and no clear direction. Instead of being left to deal with more delays, I believe I should be compensated with the additional services suggested by the attorney so I can move forward, and those services should be completed all at once rather than being delayed and done in parts.
