MAPFRE Insurance I ran over a large rock 7 days ago

I ran over a large rock 7 days ago. My car was damaged and I can't use it. I was out of state and needed help and information about what to do. I filed a claim through their Nifty App. Was assigned a rep electronically. However, I haven't been able to actually talk to anyone. I have heard absolutely NOTHING- not even an email. They were closed for the holidays. And now, their phone system is down. Not even the agents can get in touch with them. What kind of customer service is that? Meanwhile, I'm left to on my own, with no car. But if my premium payment would have been even one day late, they would have ended ny insurance. Something very wrong here.

Accident not my fault, over a month later and still they have done absolutely nothing. Calls and messages not returned. Absolutely do not see any effort. My car was parked and hit by a drunk driver. Then when someone finally answered, very disrespectful, says my representative has been on vacation for 2 weeks and no one takes over for him like wth

Whatever you do, do not get insurance with mapfre insurance stupid name by the way. I called them because a guy hit my car and lied to his insurance (mapfre) saying it was my fault. My brother was driving behind me and saw the whole thing, he pulls over and starts recording. 3 months later and only after i had to reach out over and over to people who were bias from the beginning about it being my fault. Never did they seen my car or believe my witness. To offer 50% No i will see you in court. Again get a police report same day,if you dont have a witness or they are a family member. Take pictures and dnt stop fighting no matter how bias or racist the adjustors are.

They are truly awful. They cancelled my home owners policy do to non-payment, but that had the check and did have the resources to process the check. So I paid on time, but late payment was due to their own fault. Also did during tropical storm Henry, lucky my house was not damage. I called to see why it was cancel, they explain to me it was their fault but they made me swear to an affidavit that my house was not damaged during the cancellation period. Again, cancellation was their fault. Stay away. They where great when it was Commerce Insurance, Mapfre has no clue on running a company. I am in process of finding someone new.

MAPFRE Insurance Terrible

Terrible. If I could leave negative stars I would. First they did nothing for me when my car was totaled in a hit and run. I cancelled my insurance months ago and have yet to receive a single dime from them. They lied to me when my money was being sent out. They've also charged me fees for no reason and aren't sending me my full amount due back to me for a refund (I have been told two different amounts now that I should be getting back, both of them less than what I should be receiving). I've been calling for two months now dealing with this poor excuse of a business. Terrible customer service. Every person tells me something different and no one is willing to help you.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I purchased a travel protection policy from them. After experiencing a 2 day travel delay, I tried to file a claim. However, their e-mail address, fax number and telephone number were not even connected! Buyer beware.

Worst customer service ever! Being treated like a criminal by Sarah L! She is rude and should not be in her job. I also had met agent call them and she was rude to him. Not one person asked me what happened! I can't wait for my claim to be over so I can get a new company! Done with you terrible people. They did no investigation into my accident after I had asked numerous times. I spoke to 3 different people and no one seems to know what the other is doing. I had to get angry In order for them to do anything. They just assumed the accident was my fault. Never again MAPFRE you must be working for Joe Biden!

I had booked travel insurance through mapfre and had to cancel due to our pet became sick and needed weekley infusions and pet sitter unable to do. We contacted our resort and did lose our deposit which was fair as we would not be using the time. I contacted mapfre and advised them we would not be using bthe travel insurance as we were not traveling bus staying home. We purchased on our credit card and asked only for it to be credited. Believe it or not I was asked for bank information, picture of passport airline tickets (which we had not purchased) and resort cancellation paperwork. I can only hope they treat claimants better than I was treated. Do not use this company John M

By far the worst company I have ever interacted with. Terrible communication. First it was so difficult to find out the process of filing a claim then after I file the claim I got no acknowledgement that they received it. I had to send multiple emails to just to get the claim number. Now I have sent multiple emails to get the status of my claim and there has been no response. Zero stars. Highly recommend you find some other insurance company.

There insured driver drove thru our laundromat store front and hit our employee. They sent an adjuster to our facility March 26 without notification. He failed to bring an ID, he failed to ask permission to take pictures. The attendant working was scared, she asked him who he was and did not say, she asked him to not take pictures, he did anyway. I have it all on film. All MAPFRE needed to do was to call me and tell me when they would be on site. With the virus people are more on edge. We have rigid guidelines in the laundromat to ensure my staffs safety. I called them to complain, they did not care at all. My employee was nervous and scared. NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE Worst customer service ever.

She has had nothing but problems with trying to get a settlement I gave them authorization to move the car on June 18 so they did not incur anymore storage charge. I have called and called Mapfre and got the runaround because of the cost the collision place charges. Mapfre said they will NOT pay the fee and will only pay $35. a day The car is still at the collision shop because Mapfre won't pick it up and Mapfre dares to tell me that I will be paying the difference. It has been almost 4 weeks since I told them to move car. Then when I started questioning the agent he hung up on my face. Yes he did. They are the worst insurance company

Insurance Service Center Representative at MAPFRE Insurance was very rude. I spoke with her this morning and obtain a home insurance quote. At the time I was aware that I needed my lender/loan info. After I called back to give her that info, she wasn't available. She called back after several calls and I emails I sent out to her. This time she was unpleasant and unprofessional. She told me she was to busy to assist me and to email her the info. I told her if she was to busy to transfer me to someone that can. She insisted no one was available to help me. Terrible customer service! I had to call several times to get a hold of another agent after she refused to transfer me. J K was able to assist me and did a wonderful job. He was pleasant and apologized on the behalf of his coworker.

MAPFRE Insurance This is the worst experience I have had with an insurance agency and I would never ever choose them again!

This is the worst experience I have had with an insurance agency and I would never ever choose them again! I totaled my car in January, however they refused to declare it totaled until 12 weeks at the auto body shop. They declared that it was not my fault and offered me a rental car. Then suddenly in March one side of Commerce decided (according to Katie Z. who was incredibly rude and hostile) that I was 50% at fault. I learned this after the rental car company contacted me to say I owed over 400 dollars. When I went to inquire I found out that fault had changed and I now owed money for a rental. By the way, I would have given up the rental if I had known I had to pay because at that point I was forced to work from home. Then the settlement offer was 10,000 less than what the body shop said I would get. I have to say that if you have an accident like this, choose a different insurance company. They are awful.

I'm EXTREMELY frustrated with this company and their mismanagement of their customers. It has been WEEKS now that I have been reaching out through voicemails and emails trying to get someone to fix the mistake that THEY guys made. It took them 2 weeks to contact me just to tell me I needed to submit a new claim to the other driver's insurance in order to get a rental car. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAGICALLY KNOW THAT UNLESS THEY TELL ME (all i needed was a call and it took them WEEKS. that is ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS). During that time I had to spend hundreds of dollars on lime scooter and uber rides in order to get to work. (not to mention the health effects for someone who has asthma from walking/biking/scootering to work in the middle of a Health and safety warning durning the biggest fires of the year! (AQI is 500 for christ's sake!) like i said EXTREMELY UPSET with how this company has handled my case. SO seeing as it was THEIR fault I didn't have a rental car sooner. I need to be reimbursed for the money I spent while waiting WEEKS for them to return my call.

I had to give Mapfre a 1-star rating because there's no other option. Mapfre/Commerce Insurance is so far the worst company I have dealt with. They have poor communication with customers and do not follow up. I am a fairly new customer (3-4yrs) and I had my first claim experience with Mapfre. I was involved in a 4-cars collision, which they agreed I was not at fault. They assured me the process would be seamless and they would take care of things so I would not be calling everyone to get vehicle repaired. Needless to say, it was completely the opposite. The way they handled the repairs and car rental process was insensitive and unreliable. I had to call numerous times the car dealer, doing the repairs, and Mapfre to inquire the status of the repairs and to discuss all charges related and unrelated to the accident because I was left out of the loop. Furthermore, Mapfre notified me at the last minute that the car rental needed to be returned or paid from my pocket for extra days during a snowstorm. I am severely disappointed and very soon I will be an ex-customer.

Have had nothing, but problems with this company. *** insurance was my original home insurance provider. Mapfre then acquired them (I think). Not clear. Problems include not being able to change the primary contact, not being able to cancel my policy without multiple calls (still unsure if my desire to cancel has been approved), and when I was a policy holder never getting appropriately timed renewal notices. Somehow I always got these cancellation notices due to failure to pay. I am an auto renewal type. This always was a red flag. I'm so confused they can send you cancellation notices for failure to pay, but when you simply call to cancel they do not listen. I also never could use their website and when I did renew my policy last year I had to call to give my credit card because the website couldn't handle it. Just a series of complicated friction filled experiences. I called *** and quickly set up an account. I use them for auto insurance and they set up my policy on the phone with my credit card on file. This company could learn from them. Do not use this company unless you like drama. And note I never had to file an insurance claim. Maybe that process is seamless, but with this record I would be surprised.

My parked car was damaged last Thursday by a hit and run driver. The car is not drivable due to damage to a wheel rim. I filed a claim that night, was told I would be contacted within a few days, 6 days later no one from MAPFRE has yet contacted me. On my own I waited through long hold times to finally reach an adjuster, who told me to contact the person who would be assessing the damage before doing anything with the car. She was easily reached on Monday, but hadn't seen the car yet, she'd apparently been given the wrong street name (how does that happen--I get all the bills just fine!). Reached her again today, there was a "problem with the file" and it was being re-sent to her. Promised to have a report to me on Friday, which will be more than a full week since I filed the claim. Meanwhile I can't use the car, and I've lost a week in getting it repaired or replaced or whatever. I've been with them for over 20 years (since it was Commerce), paying my premiums on time with no major claims, so if they're not making money on me, they're not making money. But I guess I never realized how bad they were. The one thing an insurance company should be competent at is processing claims promptly and efficiently, and they have done neither. But I'm sure my rates will go up for my troubles! Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere in the very near future, and I won't look back.

Commerce insurance is by far the worst experience I've had dealing with any business. I have been bounced around from person to person, all telling me different things. I have had my policy canceled and reinstated numerous times with no just cause. One employee told me the reason my policy was canceled was because my father was deceased. She said this in a very matter of fact tone. My father is very much alive, and I have no idea where she got this information from, nor why she believed it was ok in a customer service standpoint to say it that way. I was unfortunately in a car accident and it was a total loss. After dealing with them through this process, I decided to cancel my policy with them. I received a refund of $924 for canceling my policy, now they're claiming I owe them $520. It makes no sense and I have yet to receive a straight answer from them. They are claiming that it was due to my policy being canceled 3 months prior to my accident since I moved to another state. I was not made notice of this cancellation, unlike the others. While they did pay my claim for my loss, they are strong I have to pay for the three months I did not have insurance. They did not tell me that the policy was canceled and was still withdrawing their payments from my bank account during these months. There is zero communication in this company and will tell you anything, true or not, to get off the phone with you. They lie like a rug and there needs to be something fine about this

If it is possible to leave a 0, I would. Please consider this review not as 1 star, but as 0 stars. Today I spoke with John A, a Claims Adjuster at MAPFRE/Commerce insurance about next steps regarding a claim filed as the result of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The accident occurred on Monday evening and the victim was transported to the hospital with minor head injuries.The victim's car suffered extensive front end damage to the extent it could not be driven from the scene. The victim is an essential worker and English is not his primary language. Unfortunately, he has been given the proverbial "run around" in recent days as he has struggled to understand and follow through the claims process.
I spoke with John A to get clarity on the process, next steps, and expected date the claim would be process. To say that John A was incredibly rude and unhelpful is an absolute understatement. John A lacks basic customer service skills, empathy, and clear communication skills as he curtly stated there would be several divisions with whom the victim would need to contact in order to file various claims. John A did not provide any set directions, time frame, or names of other staff members who could help. John A raised his voice several times and was very insulting during this conversation. It is incredibly disappointing and alarming that I could not make sense of this process and am extremely concerned how the victim, who is still learning English, would be able to navigate this process. The victim depends on reliable transportation in order to perform his job as an essential worker. I would have expected anyone working for a reputable company to do everything they could to handle this claim with efficiency and care. I would caution any and all who are considering using MAPFRE insurance for your personal and business needs to consider other companies with proven records for customer care and service. I would also urge MAPFRE insurance to review their customer service practices with their staff to ensure that an incident such that I had the misfortune to experience will not happen again. I am advising the victim to retain a lawyer to support him through this process.

MAPFRE Insurance Worst insurance company ever!

Worst insurance company ever! A week and half ago their insured slammed into the back of my husband. I filed a claim the same day 2 days later after 2 messages left I got a call to schedule them to come look at my car. We scheduled it for Friday at 9am because my husband had chemo treatment at 10:40. At 7:30am I received a voice mail from a woman who sounded like she was still sleeping telling me the appraiser couldn't get to me at 9am as he got a late start. I explained my husband had chemo which was why we scheduled it early. She said he could come at 2:30 when we were done. He showed up at my home at 11:30 not 2:30 walked around my car not doing much of anything but walking as I watched my security camera. He called me while I was at the cancer Institute to tell me he finished looking it over and I could take it to the body shop and I would hear from them by Monday or Tuesday. I called and left 3 voicemails for a return call as my rental was due back Wednesday and I needed it extended. I finally got a return call Wednesday afternoon stating she was extending the rental 3 more days however they were totalling my car! I couldn't believe they were totalling it. My car is 11 years old only 66k miles and fully loaded in above average condition. She stated she'd call me the next day with more information. She didn't call me I again had to leave 2 more messages before she returned my call. I argued stating it should not be totalled especially since my body shop hasn't given their estimate. I asked for her supervisor which she replied sure but she won't do anything for you either. I asked for a copy of the estimate and CCC report. I got the CCC report and they compared my car to the same year but with 107k miles tgat was selling for $9995 and another one same car but with 94k miles selling for $10,990 but they were offering me $9600. I owe $9554 on my car. When I didn't receive the estimate and what they think was wrong, I had to call again, this time I pushed the button to get a random claims rep. She provided me with the estimate and it would cost $8166 to fix my car according to them. So they want to pay me more to total my car then to fix it. Then they told me I had 24 hours to allow them to pick up my car or I would be responsible for the storage fees! I fought and fought to even get something started then they give me 24 hours? Now the rental has to be returned, I don't have a car, I don't have a down payment for a new car and all of this while trying to get my husband to his chemo treatments. Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with and I'm in Collections collecting past due balances from companies. I still don't have anything in writing to give me the settlement either.

Mapfre Insurance doesn't pay its obligations In April my vehicle was taken without permission and was involved in an accident. Issue #1 I payed to have the vehicle towed from the tow yard to my driveway. This was at the suggestion of Mapfre Insurance. Big mistake. I payer $318.00 in total on 04/04 and as of this complaint, 09/15 I have not been reimbursed. The receipt for this tow was submitted not once, not twice, but three separate times. I either get "I will put that check in the mail today" or I don't receive a response at all. In fact their communication skills are as bad as it gets! Today, when I spoke to the Adjuster she kept snickering like a 15 year old girl! I'm tired of dealing with this nickel & dime company and will be filing against them in Court tomorrow.

May 21, 2022 I have been a resident of *** since Sept. 2021. At the end of Dec 2021 my MA registration expired along with my automobile insurance. I did not request at renewal of my insurance from MAPFRE since I registered and insured my vehicle in PA for 2022. In Jan 2022 I rec'd a *** from MAPFRE which I clearly marked "CANCEL THIS POLICY" and returned to them via *** Since then I have been continually billed for insurance that I did not request, did not need, and did not use. I am also being threatened with "collections". I have tried to resolve this by phone to no avail having been told renewal is "automatic".

I had an insurance policy that was canceled on April 1st, and since then 4/19, 5/17, and 6/17, there have been deductions from my checking account for $136.17 each of these months. This is a total of $408.51. I have called numerous times to get a refund to no avail. I asked to speak to ***, who is the manager, but have been told she is always in meetings and unavailable. As far as I am concerned they are stealing my money.I would like an immediate refund of the $408.51 plus $30 charged by my bank to put a stop on them from future deductions. I want a total of $438.51

So my wife and I called to see if we can get a 12 month quote written so we can be covered for the year. I'm talking to the agent we told her we were looking to payoff the insurance so when we received the quote from her that was our intent. After multiple call backs and the runaround by our home office, we still have no quote. It has been about a week and I can't comprehend how I have to call you to take my money but had I been late on my policy I'd be up for cancellation without hesitation. How long does it take to get a rewritten policy? Why do I have to keep calling. Long story short I will be shopping other policies as the customer service here is putrid and a complete waste of time.

Despite me removing my bank account information and gaining new insurance. MAPFRE policy is to charge them for renewals despite not having renewal papers signed. They charged my account despite me telling the agent previously I was going to get new insurance, they never bothered to confirm or recontact me, just simply trying to make money out of my account without notice.

Car accident on Feb 6th. Their insurer hit me after failing to yield. Damage to my passenger side door they quoted at 1,022$. They have been giving me run around for over a month, telling me to go thru my own insurance. Refuse to "determine who was at fault" allowing me to receive the check to get my car fixed. They 1st told me it's determined same day. Then after I filled our accident portion, then they can't get ahold of their insurer who hit me so they said they can't do anything else until other party completes accident forms. I spoke to guy who hit me and he has no damage and said he submitted everything they sent him. He also said he would resend it to them. So they're lying and just don't want to pay..giving me run around or they hang up on me. Next step is a lawsuit.

This company is a insurance company who never returns calls or emails in a timely manner who finally agreed to send a check after two moneys to us for property damage for a accident who their client admitted fault to these damages weren't big and so we just wanted the check to the motorcycle fixed check never came I tried calling emailing finally for them to reply saying they show the check as cashed ...I told them that we never received checked so it was not cashed by us how can we report that check stolen and move forward so we can finally receive the payment from them and still no answer or reply..I have even left messages for supervisors and no one calls me back even my insurance agent has tried to reach out to them

On June 22 I cancel my policy with mapfre Insurance co. My policy number with Mapfre was XXXXXXXXXX. My new Company is *** sent a letter cancelling my policy in June. On or about August I received a bill from Mapfre requesting a payment on my policy, I proceeded to call *** and asked them if they had sent a cancellation letter and they had, so I requested if they could submit the letter again and sent me a copy, which they did and on 8/26 I received another bill from Mapfre. In addition at the time of cancellation my policy was over paid. Therefore they owe my approximately $200. I want my refund and the company needs to stop sending me bills. I feel that I am been taking advantage because of my age. If this issue is not resolve in a timely manner I will be reporting the company to the Attorney General.

I switched insurance companies on 12/07 from Commerce to ***. On 12/07 *** sent a cancellation of policy to Commerce. On January 1st 2022 I received A policy renewal in which I called commerce and told them that I didn't want to renew the policy #XXXXXXXXXX and to cancel my auto pay. on 01/13/22 they charged me 218.90 then on 2/15/22 they charged me again 218.90. there is no way to cancel auto pay on their website. When I call Commerce they keep telling me they didn't receive the letter and they can't cancel without the cancellation letter even after I told them I was holding a copy in my hand? I attached letter dated 12/07. Your help is greatly appreciated , Thank you

I just received an email from Mapfre Insurance. stating that they have not received my property insurance payment of $624.27 that was due on 3/4/22. The crazy thing is that I've never ever been a customer of theirs nor have I ever had property insurance. Next complaint submission will be to the California Insurance Commissioner's office.

MAPFRE Insurance Back in May we tried to add my husband to the policy when we bought a new car

Back in May we tried to add my husband to the policy when we bought a new car. We were on hold for almost 3 hours and were hung up on multiple times. Then we were told that we could not change the policy. So we cancelled our policy and began services with a new company. Then over the course of 4 months we have gotten calls saying our premium has not been paid and even collection notices for an outstanding payment due. We have tried calling over 6 times to tell this company that we do not want their services over and over. Finally on our last call we were told we had to show proof of our new policy and sign a document. The previous people we talk to never mentioned this and it has taken months to try to resolve this issue. This is an unacceptable business practice. I am not only angry ovet the process but would never recommend this company to anyone I know.

I ordered a car from Carvana that I ended up filing to be returned during my 7 day trial. The car was provided to me on 8/20 The car was not officially picked up for two weeks after because of their availability (9/11). I insured the temporary car with MAPFFRE and they charged me over $343 for a car that I do not own and only had during a trial period. They charged me for 2 months of insurance. I was in contact with MAPFRE back and forth trying to get a refund and they refused. I am looking for a full refund.

They told me the reason was because I canceled so I was accessed a cancelation fee. No where on my 32 page policy did it say anything about a cancellation fee. According to them they claim that when I first became a client to the insurance company it was in some original report that was sent to me at that time. Mind you dating back on or about 1988. I had been a client for over 30 years. When I spoke to the rep at the insurance company she made it very clear to me that it wasn't in my policy but in this so called report that I got 30 years ago.

On 11/08/3021 in Salem Ma. while sitting at a red light I was rear ended by an insured of MAPFRE Insurance Co. In 2 months MAPFRE has not made any attempt to make this right by fixing my smashed car. Nor have they once called to see if I was hurt or how I am. Every time I call I have to talk to their rude less than helpful employees . Their expectations is that I use my own insurance, pay my deductible, and get a rental to drive at my expense. Never in my 38 years of driving, and being insured have I ever dealt with such a lack of responsibility in a insurance company. My only choices are , take my car 1 Hr drive away to the place my insurance State Farm deals with to fix my vehicle. Pay a 500$ deductible that I do not have, and rent myself a car until mine is fixed. Or don't fix it. This is not an ethical way to conduct business. This is shameful to do to a retired old women that is struggling financially anyway.

On June 17, I received a refund check from Mapfre for $1,010.00 due to an over payment on my homeowners insurance. I called Mapfre in the first week of July to confirm that this check was correct and that I could cash it. The customer service representative told me that there was an over payment on my account and that I could cash the check. On July 26, I received a letter from Mapfre that a double-payment was made to my account in error, and I need to pay back the $1,010.00 from the check that I cashed. After calling my mortgage company and Mapfre, the fault seems to lie with Mapfre applying the money to my account instead of a different account because of an error entering policy numbers. As Mapfre made the mistake with my account number and told me that I could cash the check when I called in the first week of July, I find it unfair and of poor business practice to expect me to have to pay back the $1,010.00 from the cashed check. It was the company's mistake.

MAPFRE Insurance Hello. I signed up for car insurance through AAA auto insurance in March

Hello. I signed up for car insurance through AAA auto insurance in March. I spoke to someone She stated to me that if I signed up for renters/home insurance, made a donation and had EFT I would save money. So I did. She took my bank and routing information and put in the system. I was told me payments would be around $165 for auto and $13 for renters. I checked my account periodically and nothing was taken out. I eventually signed into my account on Mapfre on May 18/19 I believe and it said I had a balance of $202. I paid it with the assumption that I was paying for both auto and renters. I later found out Saturday through an email that my auto policy was canceled. I immediately called to speak with someone. They said I would have to wait until Monday. Someone got back to me. They said nothing could be done until I paid the balance I wouldn't be reinstated. I kept calling and they transferred the $202 over to the auto but they canceled my renters and my payments increased.

I tried from Chrome on Android, but when I tried to pay by checking and fill out the form, the "Continue" button remained disabled despite filling out all the fields and double-checking / retrying. I tried Chrome on my laptop, with the same result. I tried using the "Send Billing Question" form on the page and filled that in, but then the "Submit" button also didn't work. I called the phone number there and an automated system offered to submit my payment, but after going through everything it said no human was available to complete the payment and told me to call back on a weekday, then hung up on me! I finally switched to Safari on Mac and the online payment succeeded there, but then when I tried to file a complaint with "Send Billing Question" it also wouldn't let me Submit. Overall I wasted 40 minutes. I can find no other way to submit this complaint via email.

Mapfre Insurance is the worst insurance company that I had to dealt with. The insurance claim #XXXXXXXX-X. On Oct 4, 2021, one of your insurer backed into my car in our workplace parking lot and took off. Police took down the information and the evidence of his broken taillight too. Luckily my workplace have security cameras who caught that person on the camera. Commerce/ Mapfre adjuster came out took pics and estimate. On 11/29, I took it to a body shop to have my rear bumper replaced and painted and got a rental for (11/29/02). Enterprise rental said I need to provide a credit card for a car rental so I used my credit card to paid for it. It came out to $145.61. Mapfre never paid the rental claim. I emailed the rental bill to the adjuster and called them. No response from the adjuster. So last friday (3/31/22), the customer service rep said my case is being taken by a new adjuster. There is a lot of run around with these insurance company. Your insurer who rear ended my vehicle and took off. Why should I bear the cost of this bill?I just want a my car rental reimbursement refund back.

Our highlander insured by MAPFRE got hit by a driver ran a red light in April. We have had this imiginary agent sssigned to us *** last name withheld. We never get any answers from when I leave messages or talk to anyone else. We are at a point now in July that our car is not done, no one is able to follow up with auto body why it has been 2 months plus. We get a call that our rental from other agency is ending. We call MAPFRE and no help they are taking it away and making us pay and still dont have our car. We want to find a way to move on from this car but no one helps when asked we are ok if you total it its over 20k in damages. Now we wont have a car and *** we never hear from yet no matter the messages or calls. They havent talked to other insurance and we are moving out of state soon and was told our problem come back up and get the car but we would be out of state and they dont follow up with auto body to attempt a date to get car back. Its 3 months no help worst insurance we pay for. Dont use MAPFRE useless when you need them from start till never ending. Hope a manager contacts us that would be nice

Exactly 1 month ago, I let my Mother use my car for an errand. She is covered on my insurance policy and has a valid drivers California Driver's License. She was on her way to pick me up from work, when she rear-ended a vehicle in front of her, which had hard-stopped due to the vehicle in front of it. Both my Mother and the car she rear ended, exchanged information, took videos and photos on the scene. Since it was the end of the day, I was not able to report the accident to the insurance company before they closed in a different time zone. The next day my Mother received a voicemail & email from the insurance carrier's agent, Wendy M. I was at work when she called. My Mother returned the call and got voicemail. She also emailed Wendy to follow up. Since then, I reached out to Wendy myself via phone and email (multiple times) since neither of us had heard back since her initial call and email. On December 20th Wendy FINALLY responded and denied our attempts to contact her, claiming she had not heard back. She was emailed and told my Mother & I both have email and call logs documenting our attempts. When I tried filing the claim online, I was told to contact Wendy M, via a pop-up message. I also received a voicemail on 12/22 from "Andrea", who said she was a supervisor in the Claims Department. I called Andrea on 12/23 since I was working when she called I did not recognize her number. My voicemail is asking her to please return my call - preferably 12/24 and I left the claim #. I am trying to get the status of my claim, and also get my car repaired, since it was damaged in the accident. It's been more than a month without the issue being resolved and Wendy has not responded to my Mother's email or mine, since December 20th when my Mother replied to her email saying she was not contacted. That is a lie and we have documentation.

On November 14th, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Milford, MA (Police report # XX-XXXXX-AC) with an insured *** of Mapfre Insurance (claim number AUXXXXXXXX). The accident was deemed the insured's fault (I was hit from behind while making a properly signaled left-hand turn). Once the police report was available, I contacted Mapfre and was given a contact email for Mapfre Insurance of ***@mapfreusa.com and told to email my information to recover my loss(es) for personal property. I prepared the email and supporting documents and emailed them on 11/29. I received no response or acknowledgment of receipt. I followed up again to ***@mapfreusa.com on 12/3. On 12/13 I called Mapfre Insurance at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. I spoke to the person who answered the call and they told me I had to submit the documentation and emails to a generic email address (***@mapfreusa.com) and everything would be routed to the proper person handling that claim. I submitted everything to the provided email address and provided the Mapfre claim number in the subject line as well as in the body of every correspondence. In my documentation, I itemized the damages and provided the cost of replacement. I also am seeking compensation for my diminished value. I am providing (attaching) the original itemized correspondence to Mapfre. However, my insurance company replaced the bike rack so the outstanding amount is now $6,162.52 I have still never received a response or acknowledgment and I have followed up multiple times since submitting to the "***@mapfreusa.com" email address. I have also called the 800 number but every time I call, I am just told to communicate through the previously provided email address and the communication will get to the correct party. I have no confidence that this issue will be resolved as Mapfre Insurance is being elusive and avoiding my communications.

MAPFRE Insurance I signed up for a Mapfre car Insurance policy plan back in July'21 with a young male insurance agent on the phone

I signed up for a Mapfre car Insurance policy plan back in July'21 with a young male insurance agent on the phone. He advised me of my monthly fees & the basics of my *** paid the first month of ~$405. I kept paying that monthly until November'21 (paid on 11/7, bounced on 11/15 and paid again 11/18) I canceled my policy on 12/20 by starting a new policy with Progressive. I was told they would reach out to Mapfre. It's February, I kept getting bills from Mapfre for THOUSANDS of dollars. I reached out to them & asked why it hasn't been taken care of, they advised me to send them a 2A form, which I've never done myself. I then took the information of where to send it once I obtained it. I did just that, called Progressive, & asked them to get me a 2A form, which they did. I sent the 2A form to Mapfre and waited. I called back later, was told they didn't have anything, & went through the process through fax, through email, & again & again until finally in May 2022, Mapfre FINALLY processes the 2A form. They then send me a *** of over $600 because of all kinds of new "fees". There had already been issues with payments prior to this as well I was enrolled in autopay and the payment failed, my amount would go up thousands & I had to call to get it fixed. I was paying around $400 a month, I only owe Mapfre less than half a month of payment for coverage. So how do I owe over $600 when I was trying to get them to cancel my policy for months? I called & spoke to a *** who was rude & unwilling to help, I asked if I could speak with anyone else who does billing, she gave me an out of service number. Nobody could help me on the phone. The Mapfre agent who was most likely getting commission for me signing up never told me about any extra or hidden fees, when he told me what my payment was that was my payment. I don't want to have to fight with them on this but if I have to I will. I am willing to pay a pro-rated *** of the $405 for the half a month used.

My rental refund is being withheld due to a coverage issue, but Mapfre Insurance did not provide accurate information beforehand. I had gotten into an accident on Nov 24th 2020. I was not at fault and my car was considered totaled. The driver gave his name as *** However, come to find out, that was his sons name, and (*** the driver) had been driving his sons truck illegally and not on his policy. I, however, did not know this at the time but Mapfre did. Because I did not have rental car coverage on my policy, and b/c the other party hadnt opened a claim, I had to pay out of pocket for a rental, but was told I would be reimburse because he was at fault. So, I listened to my agent and took out the rental for a total of 33 days, but when I went to submit a claim for reimbursement I was told their was an issue with coverage. Let me stress, that at NO time BEFORE, or DURING that rental period of 33 days did ANYONE from my Insurance reach out to tell me that *** was considered an Uninsured Motorist, and that I would not be reimburse for the rental. In fact, I had never been made aware of any of it until after all was said and done. And further more, had been reassured MULTIPLE times by MULTIPLE agents that I would get the money back but just needed to submit the receipt when I was finished with the rental. I have a good driving record, and have been with this insurance company for close to 15 years, and am appalled at the lack of help, consideration, and honesty when it came down to helping me. They pressured me constantly to get my car cleaned out so they wouldn't be charged a storage fee at *** all while I was piecing together the steps I needed to take. I had just started a new job, and needed to get to work, and had to wait forever to get a check for my car, all while paying out of pocket for this rental. I had to call to check the status of everything, and pretty much do their jobs for them. I also was never made aware that I was supposed to be offered the option of buying back my vehicle first. And instead found this out AFTER they had sent it to auction. Mapfre COMPLETELY misinformed me, and furthermore, MISLED me, as I would NEVER would have taken out the rental and paid $800. if I knew there was a chance I wouldn't be getting it back. I want my $804.98 that I paid to *** And I want them to be held accountable in some form or another. They had no concern for me as a customer, but made sure that they weren't losing ANY money. I felt that this 'Uninsured Motorist' *** who was driving illegally, not on his sons policy, AND had two warrants out for his arrest, had more rights than I did, when I did NOTHING wrong and lost my car.
